Peacefully, on Sunday, March 12, 2006, at the Humber River Regional
Hospital-Church Site, at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband
Andrew. Loving mother of Andrew and his wife Rita, and Milan
and his wife Elizabeth. Cherished Grandma of Andrea (Jamie),
Suzanne (Gerry), David (Daryl), Catherine (Craig), Carolyn (Paul),
Andrew, Michael, Robert and Lisa (Darren). Adored great-grandmother
of Alexandra, Thomas, Harry, Jack, Blake, Megan, Tate, Olivia,
Gabrielle and Connor. Susan will be lovingly remembered by her
many family and Friends. Special thanks to the doctors and nursing
staff at Humber River Regional Hospital and the Village of Humber
Heights. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel,
2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on
Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on
Friday, March 17, 2006 at 11 o'clock at Saint Paul's Slovak Lutheran
Church, 1424 Davenport Road. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. If
desired, remembrances may be made to Saint Paul's Lutheran Church
or the Canadian Cancer Society.

by his uncles Ivan (Margaret), Alex (the late Nina) and Nick
(Madlen) Abusow, as well as many cousins. An avid traveller,
Leon was a pilot and former instructor, a member of the London
Power Squadron and a radio personality with

After a courageous ten-year battle with cancer, surrounded by
his loving and devoted family at the Sudbury Regional Hospital,
Taras Roman
ROMANIUK of Rutherglen, passed away on Saturday,
March 18th, 2006, one week before his 61st birthday. Beloved
husband and soul-mate to Elly; cherished father of Kari, Steph
and Tanya; loved
son of Stefania
CHEMERYNSKA and the late Ostap
(Stan) ROMANIUK of Toronto. Dear brother of Boris
