PRITCHARD, Vola Patricia (née APPLETON)
Peacefully at Chateau Gardens Nursing Home in Aylmer on Saturday January 7, 2006 Vola Patricia PRITCHARD (nee: APPLETON) formerly of Potters Road, Tillsonburg in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Harry PRITCHARD (1966) Dear mother of Nova (Merlon) BENDER of Ailsa Craig. Cherished and much loved grandmother of Rebecca BENDER of Ailsa Craig; Bradley (Tammy) BENDER of St. Thomas. Great-grandmother of Meagan and Matthew BENDER. Vola was the daughter of the late John and Bertha (nee: CUBBON) APPLETON of Vienna. Predeceased also by her in-laws Worington PRITCHARD and Ella (nee: BUTTERWICK) of Tillsonburg. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Margaret APPLETON of Newmarket; Donald BROWN of Victoria, British Columbia; Bob (Alice Mary) of Aylmer; Sharon (Dennis) TUFF of St. Catherines. Also, predeceased by her brother Harold and his wife Malena APPLETON; and sister Aileen and her husband David BROWN. Vola was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Tillsonburg. The family will receive Friends at Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (842-5221) on Monday January 9, 2006 from 7-9 p.m., and Tuesday afternoon from 2-3 p.m. Funeral service will be held in Ostrander's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday afternoon January 10, 2006 at 3 p.m. Reverend Andy BRNDJAR of First Baptist Church officiating. Peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 4th, 2006 at Four Counties Health Services, Walter MILLER of R.R.#3 Rodney in his 98th year. Beloved wife of Donna MILLER (FLEMING/FLEMMING.) Cherished father of Jane and her husband Lloyd JARVIS, Beth and her husband Paul GILBERT, John and his wife Lynda and Marilyn and her husband Gord ARMSTRONG. Dear grandfather to Lisa and Matt HIND and daughter Sandra HIND, Sarah Jarvis, Alison, Andrew and Hattie GILBERT, Tom, Matthew, Michael and Katy MILLER and Jake and Archie ARMSTRONG. Also survived by sisters in law Millie BAKER and Marjorie MILLER and brother-in-law Anderson FLEMING/FLEMMING and his wife Louella as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by brothers Lewis and Richard and sister Esther. Walter has been a successful farmer in the area all his life and was a long time member of the Rodney Kiwanis club. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Monday, March 6th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Reverend A. BRNDJAR and Pastor R. KARN officiating. Interment Calvary United Church cemetery, Churchville. If desired, memorial contributions to the Mission and Service Fund of the Rodney Calvary United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. PAYNE, Brenda Darlene
At the Woodstock General Hospital after a brief illness on Monday November 6, 2006, Brenda Darlene PAYNE of Norwich in her 56th year. Beloved wife of the late Howard PAYNE. Loving mother of Mike and his wife Kathleen of Norwich, Heather PAYNE and Craig STUBBS of Norwich. She will be missed by her grandchildren Lydia PAYNE and Tucker STUBBS. Dear sister of Ron BUCK and wife Marlene of Norwich, Barry BUCK and friend Tracy of Woodstock, Rick BUCK and wife Wendy of Norwich. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Earl and Jean BUCK. Brenda was a member of Norwich Baptist Church. Friends will be received at The Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main St. W., Norwich on Wednesday 2 - 4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Brenda's life will be held at the Norwich United Church on Thursday November 9, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. with Rev.
