FAY, Cecile Marie Reine (née BOMBARDIER)
In the presence of her family's love, Cecile passed on to be with her Lord Jesus for eternity on January 1, 2006 after a long, courageous struggle with her health. Cecile will be forever loved and deeply missed by her children Michael, Denis, Suzie and Donald and by her sister Thérèse and brother Claude. Cecile is the adored Mama to her eleven grandchildren and one great-grand_son. Cecile enjoys a heavenly reunion with her beloved husband Frederick, her parents Joseph and Irene and sisters Rachel, Claudette and Rita. Special thanks to Dr. P. CAULFORD for his continued care and Doctors H. CLASKY and S. AITKEN of Scarborough General Hospital. Visitation will be held at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre (1057 Brock Rd., Pickering, 905-686-5589) on Thursday, January 5, 2006 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, January 6, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 12 p.m. with a light reception to follow. A dearly loved resident of Bobier Villa, Dutton, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Monday, May 1st, 2006 in her 94th year. Mary FORD, formerly of R.R.#2, Rodney, was a well-respected member of the Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow, where she was active in the church activities for many years. Predeceased by her loving husband, Louis FORD (2001;) youngest daughter, Catharine WIGHT (2005) and son-in-law George RAPELJE (1972.) Loving mother of Lewis (Inge) FORD, Kitchener; Louisa (Tony) BOMBEN, White Rock, British Columbia; Alice (Bruce) LEE, Dutton; Ruth Ann (Evert) GRIFT, Guelph; Catharine (2005) and Larry WIGHT, Mitchell. Dear grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother of 18. Dear sister of Edwin HUMPHRIES, Saint Thomas; sisters-in-law Irene HANICZ and Ruby RIPLEY; daughter-in-law, Marilyn FORD. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, John and Louisa HUMPHRIES; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold (Margaret) HUMPHRIES Roy (Rita) HUMPHRIES; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy (Jim) RIPLEY and sister-in-law Laura HUMPHRIES. At Mary's request, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to the Rodney chapel to share memories of Mary's life on Thursday, May 4th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service of remembrance will be held at the Bobier Villa Dutton on Friday at 2: 00 p.m., Rev. Robert SINASAC officiating. Private interment at a later date. Peacefully, at Iroquois Lodge, Ohsweken, on March 7, 2006, surrounded by her loving family, Wilma (BOMBERRY) POWLESS (age 82;) wife of the late Ross POWLESS; loving mother of Gail and Mark, Audrey and Jim, Harry and Susan, Arlene and Dan, Richard and Effie, Darryl and Naansii, Karen and Jerry, Anthony, Jeffrey, Jacqueline and Ron, Patti, 28 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three expected; predeceased by sons Gaylord, Gary, Gregory and Victor, sister Norma LONGBOAT, brothers Albert and Harry BOMBERRY beloved sister-in-law and best friend of Maizie JONATHAN. Wilma was the centre of the Powless Family Universe. She was our Hall of Famer who supported her husband and all her children and grandchildren in sports, education and all endeavours. She was a great cook, had two Green Thumbs, loved crossword puzzles and would usually finish Dad's. She raised her children to be proud, strong and independent. A Life well Loved. Resting at the Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken, after 2 p.m. Thursday, where Evening Prayers will be held in the Chapel, at 7 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment Saint Paul's Cemetery. Beloved wife of 47 years of "Harry" Henricus Antonius VAN BOMMEL of Belmont. Beloved mother of Marianne DEWEYERT (Wayne) of Woodstock, Anthony VAN BOMMEL (Paula) of Halifax and Patrick VAN BOMMEL (Suzanne) of Belmont. Much loved grandmother of Andrew and Nicole DEWEYERT; Harrison, Petra, Cali and Maria VAN BOMMEL. Dear sister of Chris and Mia DE KLEIN of Holland, Peter and Ria DE KLEIN of Crampton, John and Jopie DE KLEIN, Johanna and Sjaalk VAN BAKEL, both of Holland, Martin and Toos DE KLEIN of Labroquerie, Manitoba, Jean and Harry Goemans and Gerrie and Christine DE KLEIN, both of Holland. STRINGER, Clare (November 23, 1915-March 14, 2006)
Peacefully, passed away at Toronto General Hospital, after a long illness. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred BOMPAS. Lovingly remembered always by her devoted son Richard, daughter-in-law Carol, grand_son Matthew, and her sister Kay. She will be sadly missed by all her Friends in Toronto and her former hometown of Winnipeg. A memorial mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 354 St. Clair Ave. West, on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 10: 30 a.m., followed by a reception at the home of Richard and Carol.
