On Sunday, May 28, 2006 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. Colleen May, aged 67, passed away peacefully. Born May 22, 1939 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. She was one of three daughters born to Lyle and Viola (née HARPER) CAVANAGH. She is survived by her loving husband Allan, and sons Boyd (Rhonda) and their children Geralee, Joseph, Jacob and Rebekah; Burton (Dr Kirsten WESTBERG) and their children Anna and Erik of Red Deer, Alberta: and Raymond of Yorkton. She is also survived by her sisters Rhona BOEHMER of Regina, and Carol (Abe) SCHELLENBERG of Abbotsford, British Columbia, as well as nieces and nephews and cousins. Colleen, as Chief Executive Officer and President of NorthEastern Cablevision served several terms as President of Saskcable and served also as Vice-President of the Canadian Cable Television Association. As a woman in a nontraditional role in the Cable industry, she was recognized as the 'Outstanding Woman of Canadian Cable' in 1987. She served her community, province and nation in many organizations and volunteer capacities over the years including; President of Jaycettes of Canada 1976, Regional Director for Encounters with Canada - The Terry Fox Foundation, President of the Arthritis Society of Saskatchewan 1983-84, and for many years served as a Board member on the Council for Canadian Unity. Colleen was a member of the Saskatchewan Arts Board, she was appointed Chair in 2000. A position she held until her passing. Locally, Colleen was an active member and past President of The Yorkton Short Film and Video Festival. She was also a founding board member of the recently established Saskatchewan Foundation of the Arts. Colleen's dynamics and sincere contributions to the betterment of community and society were acknowledged on many occasions including being the recipient of The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Medal 1961 for encouraging Arts in Saskatchewan; The Queens Golden Jubilee Medal 2002; and the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal and Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal in 2005. Colleens' family and Friends will cherish her memory, remembering her as a model of courage, determination and grace. The funeral service will take place at 2: 00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2006 from Westview United Church, Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Loving mother of Orval and Yvonne DE BOER of Sarnia, Margaret and Harry KNIP of Exeter, Tony and Marian DE BOER of Exeter, and Andy and Chris DE BOER of Cambridge. Proud grandmother of Jocelyn and fiance Jason; Jolene and Chantel Jilleana and Mark; Cherisse and Jim; Joshua and fiancee Sarah Nathan, Aaron, and Adam; Stephanie, Ryan and Danielle. Great-grandmother of R.J. and Riley. Predeceased by an infant son, January 1956. Friends and family were received at East Christian Reformed Church, 476 Metcalfe St. East, Strathroy on Tuesday, May 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral was held at the church, officiated by Pastor Walter DE RUITER on Wednesday, May 24 at 11 a.m. Interment at the Strathroy Cemetery. Died peacefully after a long struggle, on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Milton District Hospital, in the arms of his loving wife. Predeceased by his baby Shirley. Survived by his wife Alida of almost 47 years. Len is also survived by his brother Henk WULFSE and his wife Rietje and his sister Adrie v/d HOEK; nephew Paul WULFSE and his wife Carla and their child; nieces Mieke and her husband Josh LIEFFERING and their children, and Martine WULFSE and her children, all of Holland. He leaves his sister-in-law Adrianna and her husband Hanno DE BOERSAP, also his brother-in-law Harry VAN EIJK and his children who live in Holland; his special niece Marianna and her husband Chris HOVESTADT; nephew Michael DE BOERSAP and his wife Sandra and their children; niece Heather BIERSTEKER and her husband Kevin and their children; and his mother-in-law Johanna DEN HOLLANDER. Suddenly at the London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital on Monday, February 27, 2006. Lately of Ilderton, Adrian John OLSTHOORN was a long time resident of Mitchell. A beloved husband, father and grandfather. Adrian will be sadly missed and forever loved and remembered by his wife Dora (née BOERSEN) and children Jean (Ron VANOS), Bill, Lora and Trish (Mauro DESIMONE). He will be especially missed by his six cherished grandchildren; Stephanie, Stacey, Greg, Daniel, Sophia and Jared. Adrian was a proud Canadian, his love for his adopted country was only surpassed by his love for his family. Adrian is survived by his sisters Nell, Joop (Rinus) and brothers Wim (Tini) and Ben (Toos), a sister-in-law Winnie, of The Netherlands and many nieces and nephews. Passed away peacefully on November 19, 2006 at home surrounded by family and Friends following a long courageous battle with Leukemia. John Henry was born August 6, 1974 in Regina. A member of the Sweetgrass First Nation, he was predeceased by his mother Patricia FINE DAY; brothers Brooke FINE DAY and Brian ROHATYN Grandparents Stan and Doris RANDS and Alphonse Little Poplar. He is survived by his loving wife Stephanie MESSNER and infant son Nikosis; grandmother Irene FINE DAY; father Brian RANDS brother Kenneth FINE DAY; sisters Emily and Naomi BOESE, Cecilia RANDS and Hanah MOLLOY. John Henry was a proud graduate of the S.I.F.C./ F.N.U.C., receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts - Indian Art, in June of 2004. A respected artist, John developed a unique style. It was during his fight with leukemia that his artwork flourished. He was prolific in his final years building a significant body of work displayed at numerous shows and exhibitions. John's proudest moment came with the birth of his beloved son Nikosis. All who were blessed to have known him will miss John Henry and his kind and gentle spirit, but his memory will remain in our hearts forever. A celebration of John Henry's life will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2006 from 2: 00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Fellowship, College Avenue and Angus Street, Regina, Saskatchewan. A member of the Sweetgrass First Nation, he was predeceased by his mother Patricia FINE DAY; brothers Brooke FINE DAY and Brian ROHATYN Grandparents Stan and Doris RANDS and Alphonse LITTLE POPLAR. He is survived by his loving wife Stephanie MESSNER and infant son Nikosis; grandmother Irene FINE DAY; father Brian RANDS brother Kenneth FINE DAY; sisters Emily and Naomi BOESE, Cecilia RANDS and Hanah MOLLOY. John Henry was a proud graduate of the S.I.F.C. / F.N.U.C., receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts - Indian Art, in June of 2004. A respected artist, John developed a unique style. It was during his fight with leukemia that his artwork flourished. He was prolific in his final years building a significant body of work displayed at numerous shows and exhibitions. John's proudest moment came with the birth of his beloved son Nikosis. All who were blessed to have known him will miss John Henry and his kind and gentle spirit, but his memory will remain in our hearts forever. A celebration of John Henry's life will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2006 from 2: 00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Fellowship, College Avenue and Angus Street, Regina, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Friends of B3, care of the Pasqua Hospital.

Beloved wife of Chris JONGERIUS for 51 years. Sister of Emiel and Mary CROMBEEN, Bob and Geraldine CROMBEEN, Al CROMBEEN, Ben and Carol CROMBEEN, Marie YSEBAERT, Tilley SIMMONS, Margaret and Harold TREPANIER. Sister-in-law of Jean CROMBEEN, Giel and Miep JONGERIUS, Thea VANMAURIK and Piet BOEYEN. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass for Julia (CROMBEEN) JONGERIUS, age 78, of Sarnia, was celebrated on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, Sarnia with Father Rick JANISSE as celebrant, assisted by Father Jim HIGGINS. Pallbearers were Francis VINK, Wayne CROMBEEN, Frank BISHOP, Rick CROMBEEN, Darren CROMBEEN and Ed YSEBAERT. An honour guard was formed by the C.W.L. at the mass and also provided the luncheon following the service. Interment followed in Resurrection Cemetery. Julia was a member of St. Benedict's Church and the C.W.L. Beloved wife of Chris JONGERIUS for 51 years.
