It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Allen DOW on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 in his 91st year at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington. Devoted and dearly loved husband for 62 years to Thelma Leggat DOW. Cherished uncle to Lloyd LEGGAT Jr., June (Paul) VAUGHAN, Diane (Joseph) MAZIARZ Deborah (Henry) BOCCACCIO, Melvin (Paula) LEGGAT and Laurie (Daniel) TRIGIANI. Beloved great-uncle to Tyler and Ryan VAUGHAN, Jenny (Sean) MacRAE, Lee and Conrad MAZIARZ, Jennifer (Bruce) ODELL and Gregory and Jeffrey BOCCACCIO and Jacob LEGGAT. Brother-in-law to Vincent LEGGAT and Katherine LEGGAT. Predeceased by sister-in-law Betty McFADDEN, brother-in-law Lloyd LEGGAT, nephew David LEGGAT and great-niece Sydney VAUGHAN. Allen was the former Vice President of the T.H.&B Railway, a 33rd Degree Mason and a Veteran of World War 2. Visitation to be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of Queen Elizabeth Way), Burlington (905-632-3333) on Monday, March 27 from 3: 00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Service to be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 28th at 11: 00 a.m. with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Of Saint Thomas on Tuesday, May 23, 2006, surrounded by her loving family, at her late residence, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Martin MAYER and dearly loved mother of Brigitta and her husband David SOMERVILLE, Evelyn BOCK (late Hans,) Joan MAYER all of Saint Thomas, Elaine MAYER and her husband Scott Lackey of Belmont, Rosemary and her husband Michael BARRETT of Saint Thomas, Ronald MAYER of Saint Thomas and Timothy and his wife Joanne MAYER of Unionville. Sadly missed by 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Wilma was born in Holland on September 14, 1925. She was a member of Saint Anne's Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Saturday morning and then to Saint Anne's Church for Mass of the Christian Burial at 10: 30 a.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 6-8 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Friday at 7: 00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.

89 of Bay Harbor Islands, Florida Passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2006. Marion BOCKNER loving wife of 59 years of the late Archie BOCKNER. Survived by her beloved son, David and special daughter-in-law, Monthakarn. She is also survived by her caring sister, Eunice HARRISON and many nephews, nieces and Friends. Marion moved from Toronto to Miami Beach in 1955 with her family. Marion will be missed, but not forgotten by all who knew her. Marion and Archie are finally together at last. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Ave. West (3 lights west of Dufferin St.) for service on Sunday May 28, 2006 at 1: 30 p.m. Interment Beth Tzedec Memorial Park.
