GOOCH, William Arthur
Lately of Stratford in Stratford General Hospital, passed away April 18, 2006. Born in Saint Marys, June 28, 1925. son of the late Arthur and Lillian (STAPLETON) GOOCH. Husband of Ruth (WRAY) who predeceased him September 1st, 2003. Father of David and wife Pam, Linda and husband Gary TAILOR/TAYLOR, London; Barbara and husband Ivan BOA, Ingersoll; brother of Bob GOOCH, Ingersoll Thelma and husband Charles THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, Woodstock; sister-in-law Rita GOOCH, Stratford; and Norma GOOCH, Saint Marys. Predeceased by son William (1989,) brothers Les (1995,) Don GOOCH (2003.) Funeral service was held April 21st, 2006 at W.G. Young Funeral Home, Stratford with burial in Saint Marys Cemetery.

BURKHOLDER, Lois Mary
Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family, Lois Mary BURKHOLDER went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 17, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Howard, devoted and loving mother to Christopher, Trish, Richard, Ryan, and Rhonda. Cherished grandmother to Joshua, Lukas, Samuel, Abigail, and Reid. She will be sadly missed by her mother Mary KENNEDY and her siblings, Elva and Don BARKEY, Donna and Mike BOADWAY, Dave and Becky KENNEDY, Cliff and Pam KENNEDY, Faith KENNEDY, Ester and Ken REESOR, Irene and Glenn STEINER, and Sylvia and Stan GALLIAN. She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews and Friends. Lois was a truly beautiful person, although she has been taken from our life, she will live on in the hearts of the people she loved. Friends will be received at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Lois's Life will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Markham Missionary Church, 5438 Major Mackenzie Drive (east of McCowan). Suddenly after a short illness, at Saint Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on Friday, March 17, 2006, Adrian Cecil MOORES, Beeton, in his 65th year, beloved husband and best friend to Linda BOAG. Supporter and proud dad of Laura (Hans) RIZARRI, Bolton, and predeceased by son Glen. Fun and doting Papa to Kaitlin. Brother of Art MOORES, Sydney, Nova Scotia and Wayne MOORES, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Loved brother-in-law and uncle to Larry and Diane DAVIS and family. The family will receive their Friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held in Saint_James Roman Catholic Church, Colgan, on Tuesday morning, March 21 at 11 o'clock (leaving funeral home at 10: 15 a.m.). Interment Saint_James Cemetery, Colgan. Peacefully at Markham-Stouffville Hospital on Monday, September 11, 2006, Joseph Neil McMULLEN of Winlane Drive in Stouffville in his 92nd year. A loving and devoted husband to Eurla DAVIS for 67 years. Beloved father of Norman of Richmond Hill. Affectionately remembered by Kevin DARK. Predeceased by his elder son Neil in 1983. Loving father-in-law of Joan of Corunna and proud grandfather of Jacob and Andrew and his wife Kari. A special uncle to Beth and Jack MacPHERSON and their family. He was the son of Bertha BARKEY and Jacob McMULLEN and is lovingly remembered by his sisters Dora REAMAN and Luella FULLER and his sister-in-law Evelyn, Mrs. Earl McMULLEN. Predeceased by his brothers Earl, Lorne and his wife Fern, Clifford and his wife Margaret, and Ross and by his sisters Erma and Margaret and her husband Albert BOAKE, brothers-in-law Willaim REARNAN and Gordon FULLER. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at O'Neill Funeral Home, 6324 Main Street, Stouffville (905-642-2855) on Thursday evening from 7: 00-9:00 and on Friday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2: 00 p.m in the chapel with interment in Stouffville Cemetery. Joe was a well respected resident of Stouffville and he was extremely proud of his family's long history in the community. His gentle kindness and keen sense of humour endeared him to Friends and family. He will be greatly missed. It is with deep sorrow that our family announces the passing of Mary E. ORR on February 4, 2006. Beloved wife and life long friend of R. Gordon ORR of King City. Loving mother of Don and Beth ORR, Laurie and John KIMMEL, Ken and Joanne ORR, Marilyn and John CARUSO, Carolyn and Gary MacDUFF and Peter and Mary ORR. Sister and sister-in-law to Jean and the late Carl BOYNTON, Ruth and Al BOAKE, Allan and Mary ORR and the late Anna and Bob JOHNSTON. Deeply missed by 18 grandchildren and their partners. A caring Aunt and special friend and support to many. Dynamic and dedicated, Mary was a tireless volunteer in her beloved church and community. She made the world a better place for all and will be missed by many. Bud GALBRAITH of Meaford and formerly of North Bay, at the age of 77. Dear husband of Florian (Flo) GALBRAITH of Meaford. Dear father of Richard (Lynda) GALBRAITH of Meaford, Doug (Jillian) GALBRAITH of Burlington, Nancy GALBRAITH of Sudbury, Wendy (John) MORLEY of North Vancouver, British Columbia and Rob (Leigh) GALBRAITH of Coff's Harbour N.S.W., Australia. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Lisa (Ken) BOATE, Ken GALBRAITH, Jason GALBRAITH, Jeremy (Heather) MANNELLA, Alexandra GALBRAITH, Mitchell GALBRAITH and great grand_son Will BOATE. Dear brother of Ria (Wesley) HORST of London, Bernie (JoAnne) SCHUIT of Saint Thomas, Albert (Wendy) SCHUIT of St. Catharines and Robert SCHUIT of Aylmer. Dear grandfather of Hailey SCHUIT. Allen was born in Saint Thomas on September 9, 1957, the son of the late Ted and Rene (BOAZ) SCHUIT. He worked at Canadian Timken for over 27 years. He drove for the Red Cross, was an avid bingo player and loved Halloween. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Saturday at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Saint Thomas Cemetery.
