It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rudy
STEINBRENNER,
on November 27, 2006 at the age of 73. Rudy was born in Wiesbaden,
West Germany in 1933 and immigrated to Canada in 1959. At the
end of his battle Rudy was surrounded lovingly by his wife Christa,
who he had the honour of celebrating their 50th anniversary with
this year, sons Cliff and Don, and daughters Diane and Semona.
He also leaves behind his sons; Fred

in Florida and Michael
MOHR who resides in Germany. Rudy loved
his many grandchildren: Lisa

Rudy▼ was predeceased by his
granddaughter Erin
ROURKE in 1994. Rudy was also predeceased
by his mother and father, Anna and Karl
STEINBRENNER of Germany
and leaves to mourn, his sister and brother-in-law, Gudrun and
Dieter DIEHL along with their daughter Doreen, and his brother
and sister-in-law Dieter and Rosi
STEINBRENNER along with their
children Dirk and Silke. Rudy was a proud employee of Ontario
Hydro for 25 years where he made many good Friends. He had a
passion for sailing and was a member of the Port Elgin Boat Club.
Rudy was acknowledged in 1998 by Prime Minister Brian Mulroney
for his contribution in bringing organized minor soccer to the
Port Elgin area. Heartfelt thanks go out to the many wonderful
relatives, Friends and health care professionals Rudy had the
pleasure of knowing. A celebration of Rudy's life will be held
at a memorial service at 1: 00 p.m. on Saturday, December 02,
2006 at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener,
Ontario. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer
Society are greatly appreciated and may be arranged by contacting
