Norma Sylvia
CAMPBELL was born on February 9, 1936 in Denver,
Colorado, United States. She was called to glory on January 30,
2006 in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia at the age of 69 years.
Norma is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years Ken

(Ann) NANDREA. A "Coronation" service was held on February 3,
2006 at the Claude Galibois Center, home of the Wilderness Ministries,
Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia. Officiated by Pastor Doug Spinney.
Norma was cremated and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday,
March 18, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m. at the Ajax Baptist Church in Ajax,
Ontario. A committal service will follow in the family plot at
Erskine Cemetery in Pickering, Ontario. Conducted by Reverend
James REESE.
Memorial gifts in honour of Norma may be made by
way of donation to the Wilderness Ministries (Coronation College),
Box 130, Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia V0C 2W0. Funeral arrangements
were entrusted to Bergeron Funeral Services and Crematorium Ltd.,
Dawson Creek, British Columbia.

Born▼ in Hamilton, Mr.
ALLAN attended Highfield School,
Hamilton Central School, Central Collegiate and The University
of Toronto. Upon graduation in 1929, he joined his father in
the family business, The Reid Press Limited, where he assumed
the position of President until his retirement. Colonel
ALLAN
has served his country well. He joined the 91st Regiment of the
Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada (Princess Louise's)
in 1929, serving until shortly after the outbreak of the Second
World War when he transferred to the Royal Canadian Air Force.
Here, under the auspices of the Commonwealth Air Training Plan,
he rendered exemplary service, obtaining the rank of Group Captain
and was named a member of the Distinguished Order of the British
Empire.▼ In the early 1970's, Group Captain
ALLAN became Colonel
ALLAN subsequently accepting the appointment of Honorary Colonel
of the Argyll's. Mr.
ALLAN was an active member of the Hamilton
Players Guild, as well as the Board and Senate of The Stratford
Festival. He received The Canadian Drama Award for Services rendered
in promoting Canadian Theatre. Mr.
ALLAN was a past president
both of the Hamilton Health Association and The Art Gallery of
Hamilton. He also served on the Board of The Royal Botanical
Gardens. Summers at the cottage on Rosseau Muskoka, and a love
of were by far his most cherished shared with his beloved wife,
and family. Lake travel times Zim, As a lifelong member of Central
Presbyterian Church, he faithfully gave of his time and energy
in every aspect of church life. He served as an Elder for many
years and was recognized in his later years as Elder Emeritus.
Family and service have been the hallmarks of a man who has lived
a life of accomplishments with strong leadership and absolute
efficiency, this with a sense of grace, dignity and style. The
family would like to acknowledge with gratitude the exceptional
love and care given to their 'Mr. A.' by Marilyn, Mary, Teresita,
Marion, Raj, Sarah and Josie. The family will receive Friends
at Swackhamer, Blachford and Wray Funeral Home, 1341 Main Street
West (opposite MacMaster University), Hamilton, on Thursday,
October 5th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will
take place on Friday, October 6th at 1 p.m., at Central Presbyterian
Church, 165 Charlton Ave. West, Hamilton. Expressions of sympathy
to Central Presbyterian Church or to a charity of your choice
would be greatly appreciated by the family.
