HOLMES,
Gertrude
The family of the late Gertrude
HOLMES would like to extend their
heartfelt thanks to all their extended family, Friends and neighbours
for their kindness, beautiful flowers and generous donations
to the Sean Holmes Memorial Fund and charities of their choice
in her memory. A special thanks to Doctor
WINTERTON, the staff at
Chesley District Hospital, the management and staff at Parkview
Manor. They cared for Mom with kindness and dignity. We also
extend our thanks to Rev. Alex
McCOMBIE,
Nathan
RHODY and staff
of Cameron Funeral Home for their caring ways. We sincerely appreciate
the Chesley Legion Ladies' Auxiliary service to honour their
comrade's memory. Our thanks to the pall bearers grand_sons Barry
BAECHIER, David
FORD, Dean
HARVIE, Dennis
MacDONALD, David
HOLMES,
Trevor HOLMES and Larry
HOLMES and to the flower bearers, granddaughters
Sherry MURDOCK, Laurie Ann
GUERIN and Michelle
HOLMES. We appreciate
that Barb BAECHIER and Shane
HOLMES travelled so far to be here
for Grandma. Mom had caring neighbours, especially Anne and Tim
FRAZEL who with Sylvia
ZAVITZ, healthcare workers and our family
members combined to support Mom in her desire to live in the
house that she and Dad had built, for as long as she could. We
are so proud of and grateful to our sisters Shirley
FORD,
Geraldine
HARVIE and Wynelda
MacDONALD for "Being There" for our Mom when
she needed them. Mom cared for us and in turn we cared for her.
Thank you God for a life well lived.
