Survived by his sister Sandra SILVERTHORNE and predeceased by his other sister Jean ATTART. Mac, beloved husband of the late Thelma (BATTYE,) passed away peacefully at Sunset Manor in Collingwood. He will be sadly missed by his sister Marg ATTRIDGE of Calgary, daughters Sharie (Duncan) HAWKINS of Collingwood and Laurie (Stephen) FISHLEIGH of Calgary and son-in-law Peter LEGGETT of Mt. Tremblant. Mac was predeceased by daughter Wendy. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jodi (Dave) GRANT, Mary-Lynn LEGGETT (Bert CHARTRAND,) Robin LEGGETT (Dani CHENIER/CHENÉ), Lesley HAWKINS (John TRAFANANKO), and Adam FISHLEIGH. MAC was blessed with six great-grandchildren Jake and Sam CHARTRAND, Lia and Georgia LEGGETT, and Nicole and Alison GRANT. MAC will be sadly missed by special friend Hazel Currie of Namur. Mac had a successful career at Leach Textiles in Montreal. He was an avid curler at Lachine Curling Club, an avid golfer at Summerlea G. and C.C. and he loved to fish. Cremation has taken place. With a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face, Nell ATTRILL (née HILL) of Courtenay, British Columbia (formerly of London, Ontario), passed away, on Sunday, May 28th, 2006 in her 89th year. Nell with be forever in the hearts of her children Jim (Barb) ATTRILL, Shirley (Russ) PRATT, Mary (Red) DEGRAW, Linda (Michael) WAN and Bonnie (Fred) ZIMMER, her 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving husband, Jim (1982), sisters Lillian and Louise, brothers Bob, Ted, John, Mick and Jack, and grandchildren Brad (1981), Pam (1984) and Jenn (1998). She will be laid to rest beside her husband Jim in Clandeboye, Ontario. A "Celebration of Nell's Life" will be held at: Bonnie and Fred's home at 979 Dearness Dr., London, Ontario. Saturday, June 3rd, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m. Since music was Nell's passion, all family, Friends and neighbours are invited to bring along their musical instruments in order to participate in a tribute to Nell. Beloved husband and best friend of Sadie (SMALL) (ZAVITZ) BROOKS for almost 28 years. Loving father of Lorel CARR and fiancé Tom HARRISON of Port Elgin; Paul (JoAnne) BROOKS of Brisbane, Australia; Mark BROOKS and friend Vickey POOLE of Waubaushene and Jan BROOKS of London. Much loved grandpa of Melanie, Matthew and Jonathan CARR; Charles (Chuck) BROOKS of Claresholm, Alberta Nicole BROOKS of Brisbane, Australia; Melissa (Missy) and Rocky BALDWIN of Edmonton, Alberta; Kyle, Krystal and Joshua BROOKS of Orillia; cherished great-grandpa of Austin and Lily BALDWIN of Edmonton. Also survived by the children's mother, Ruth (ATTWOOD) BROOKS of Saint Thomas. Bob was born in Newmarket, Ontario on May 27, 1925 and was the only son of Wesley and Adele (STEPHENS) BROOKS. Educated in Newmarket, he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy in World War 2 and was on active duty off the Newfoundland and Labrador coast. Upon discharge, he enrolled in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto. Following graduation, he practiced pharmacy in Toronto, Saint Thomas and in London for several decades until his retirement. Left to grieve her are her children: Judith (Charles) GOTTFRIED, Margaret ROBINSON, Mary TIMMINS, Frances ROBINSON, Ellie (Dino) ZUCCHIATTI, John (Yvonne) ROBINSON, and Ed (Nanette) ROBINSON. She is survived by her sisters, Jean FIORAVANTI and Grace RYAN, and in-laws, Frank ALLEN and Sheri CLANCY. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Lisa MELO, Jim ROBINSON, Robbie ROBINSON, Robin KNIGHTON, Greg BROWNING, Darcy TIMMINS, Kristin WELTON, Justin and Lauren ZUCCHIATTI, Beth ATTWOOD, Michele, Renée, and Ashley ROBINSON, Brenna ROBINSON, and families, and all her great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
