Peacefully, at her residence on Tuesday, January 24, 2006, Phyllis Jeanette (GIBSON) RICHTER of R.R.#2 Parkhill passed away in her 73rd year. Loved dearly by her husband Bruce RICHTER. Beloved mother and sadly missed by her children Elaine (Gary) FAULDS of Arkona, Mike (Bonnie) RICHTER of Surrey, British Columbia, Sheila (Dave) WATSON of Parkhill, Joyce (Don) ARRAND of Kerwood, Theresa (Donald) RIDLEY of Wyoming and Tammy (Bill) NICHOLS of Strathroy. Greatly missed and dear grandmother to Brent, Bryan, Brad, Trisha, Craig, Jeremy, Chad, Jeff, Derek, Kassie, Matt, Olivia, Brody, Jessie, Nathan, Charlie and Laura. Phyllis is survived by her beloved husband Orland NICHOLS. Dear mother of Jo-Anne (Wayne) SYMINGTON, Wayne (Tammy) NICHOLS, Bill (Tammy) NICHOLS and Tim (Cory) NICHOLS. Cherished grandmother of Hannah and Nathan SYMINGTON, Tyler, Maggie and Zachary NICHOLS, Charles and Laura NICHOLS, and Orland NICHOLS. Loving mother of Vicki McCAW and her husband Steve of Lobo, Richard LAVOIE and his wife Jane of London, and Michelle LAVOIE, also of London. Cherished grandmother of Paige and Nicholas LAVOIE. Loving daughter of the late Herman and Yvonne SCHRANS, and daughter-in-law of Jim and Diane ARRAND. Dear sister of Bill SCHRANS (Sandra,) Gerry SCHRANS, Nancy FOURNIE (Joe), Susan MARSH (Glenn), Diane OUELLETTE (Gerry,) Terri VOWLES (Bill,) and Steve SCHRANS (Heather.) Judy was a longtime dedicated employee of the London Health Sciences Centre. A funeral service for Lorna R. GORMAN (ROZEE) of Millville, New Brunswick, and formerly of Strathroy, was held on July 2, 2006 at Millville Baptist Church, Millville, New Brunswick. Lorna is survived by her husband of 62 years, Rev. Loren GORMAN of Millville, New Brunswick; four sons, David (Cathy), Maple Ridge, New Brunswick; Ronald (Anne) Langley, British Columbia; Robert (Gail), Paul (Nancy), both of Strathroy; one daughter, Carol ARRAND (Bill), Grand Bend. Also survived by four brothers, Gurdon ROZEE (Lorraine), Halifax, Nova Scotia; Ronald ROZEE (June), Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia; Eldon ROZEE (Sarah), New Glasgow, Nova Scotia; and Charles ROZEE (Carol), Timberlea, Nova Scotia two sisters, Roberta TOSH (Harry,) Sarnia; and Carol SMITH, Petrolia as well as eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Reginald and Carrie (BOUTLIER) ROZEE of Halifax, Nova Scotia; and one grand_son, Donnie GORMAN in 1966. Lorna went to be with her Lord on June 29, 2006 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born on June 16th, 1933, Bill passed away at home on Sunday October 22nd, 2006. Bill, my salmon swimmer, always swam uphill against the tide of life accomplishing many things along the way. Bill leaves behind his wife Pudge (Helen) together 51 interesting years his sisters Betty DOWNS, Marie GABOURIE: brother David HARTSHORNE: brother-in-law Ray GABOURIE: and many nieces and nephews. Bill will be heading on his new journey to places unknown, meeting his mother and father Frank and Madeline: sister Frances ARRIGO: and brother-in-laws John J. DOWNS and Tony ARRIGO along the way. Good luck "Billy Bouy" we will surely miss you here on earth. At University Hospital, London, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by family, on Good Friday, April 14, hours prior to his 43rd wedding anniversary. Loving husband of Nancy (née CARMICHAEL) of Collingwood, Ontario. Beloved father of Joanne BROWN (Rod) of Collingwood, John LIOTTA (Rebecca) of Stratford, Christy McDONALD (John) of Shanty Bay, James LIOTTA of Collingwood and Michael LIOTTA of Collingwood. Grandfather of Jordan, Connor, and Hannah BROWN, Kelsea and John LIOTTA, Carter, Lucas and Samuel McDONALD. Son-in-law of W.J. (Scotty) CARMICHAEL of Collingwood. He will be missed by sisters, Ignatia ARRIGO and Virginia STEVENS, and brother Salvatore LIOTTA. Predeceased by parents, Diego and Josephine LIOTTA and sisters, Mary GRIESI and Josephine LIOTTA. Born on October 8, 1938 in Toronto, Ontario. Attended Saint Peter's Choir School, Saint Michael's College H.S., University of Toronto. Graduated from Assumption University of Windsor and later received his Masters of Education from O.I.S.E. Teaching career included: Michael Power H.S., New Toronto H.S., Stayner C.I., Collingwood C.I. until his retirement in 1993. Teacher, coach, mentor, community leader, J.L. generously shared his passion for people. John's family will receive visitors on Tuesday, April 18 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Fawcett Funeral Home, 82 Pine Street, Collingwood. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 63 Elgin Street, Collingwood. Interment at Saint Mary's Cemetery. Died suddenly and peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital on October 14th, 2006 at the age of eighty-five. She will be sadly missed by her only daughter Cornelia NIHON (née VON ARRONET,) son-in-law Alexis NIHON and her grandchildren, Sophia, Alexis, Philip and Julia. She will also be remembered by many relatives in Germany and Canada. Many thanks to Friends Martha, Andreas and Kariann for their devotion in caring for Hildegard during her months of illness. Special thanks to Ingrid for her help in restoring Hildegard's mobility for a brief but very cherished period of time. Hildegard will be remembered for her strength of character, generosity of spirit and her unwavering commitment to those she loved and cared for. A memorial service will be held at the McGill Chapel, 3520 University Street, Montreal, on Thursday October 26th at 5 p.m., followed by a reception for family and Friends. Cathy was the eldest loved daughter of Philip and Barbara (née PITTS) ARROWSMITH of Bobcaygeon, and dear sister of Sandra CODE (Michael) of Lindsay and Patricia ARROWSMITH of Kitchener. Loving aunt of Matthew and Lindsay. Formerly of Toronto and Mississauga, Cathy had resided for the past year in Lindsay. She will be greatly missed by her Aunt Shirley and Uncle Bob BELLAMY and their family. Visitation will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay, on Tuesday, January 10th from 1: 00 p.m. until time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2: 00 p.m. Cathy will be remembered for her kindness, generous spirit and love of family.
