It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Mitzi (MOFFATT) CORY, on Monday, April 3, 2006. Wife of the late A.H.H. (Bert) CORY. Mother of Marcia (Brian ALKENBRACK,) Janet, Philip (Tracy STONE) and Donald (Laura.) Loving grandmother of Diva, Sam, Cory, Brianna, Blake, Aidan and Tasha. Love you forever. The family will receive Friends at the Robert J. Reid and Sons Funeral Home, "The Chapel on The Corner", 309 Johnson Street (at Barrie Street), Kingston, Ontario, on Wednesday, April 5 between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in "The Chapel on The Corner" on Thursday, April 6 at 11 a.m. Cremation and interment at Catarqui Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Kingston Humane Society.

On Friday, December 1, 2006 at Toronto East General Hospital. Daughter of the late John and Joan HALL. Survived by her children David and Lorraine PROCTOR, her step-mother Pauline HALL of Stratford, and sisters Susan PRIEUR of England, Jill (John) SKINNER of Stratford, Jenny (Peter) ALKER of Brighton, and special "sister" Cecily SAVOIE of Toronto. Becky had a long career as a graphic designer at the Ontario Science Centre. A service in memory of Becky will be held in the Chapel of the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W. (2 lights west of Yonge St.) on Thursday, December 7th at 2: 00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Peacefully, at Park Lane Terrace, Paris on Friday, March 3, 2006 Kathleen Dora DANFORD of Paris, in her 94th year; beloved wife of the late Walter OLDHAM (1981;) dear mother of Carolyn ALKHAMISI of London and Cathy OLDHAM of Strathroy; and grandmother of Barry, Michael, Christopher and Geoffrey. Mrs. OLDHAM was a member of Paris Presbyterian Church for many years, a Choir member for over 60 years and a member of the Women's Missionary Society. Friends will be received at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River Street, N. Paris, on Monday 12-1 p.m., where complete funeral services will be held at 1: 00 with Reverend Stan COX of Paris Presbyterian Church officiating. Suddenly, on Thursday March 23rd, 2006 at Willow Estates, Aurora, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of William DOCKMAN (2002.) Loving mother of Stephen and his wife Diana, Sandra DOCKMAN and her husband Leonard ALKSNIS, Corinne and her husband Brian SMITH, and Russell. Cherished grandmother of Chad and Shannon; Ryan, Matthew and Cameron; Damian and Amy; Lindsay, Jordan and Sean Raymond and Tracey. Vera will be missed dearly and fondly remembered by her family and many Friends. Friends may call on Sunday March 26th, from 5-9 p.m. at the R.S. ALKSNYS, Ignas (September 25, 1941-February 7, 2006)
Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 7th, 2006, with his loving and devoted wife by his side. He was a gentle man and a gentleman who always found joy in all aspects of his life. Ignas received his Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Toronto and his M.B.A. from York. He was always spiritually motivated by the works of Deepak Chopra and Og Mandino. An avid tennis player with a keen sense of fun and competition, Ignas was the cherished husband and best friend of Barbara VOSBOURGH. Predeceased by his beloved parents, Ignas and Bonaventura ALKSNYS. Dear brother of Birute (B.C.) and Klemas (Lithuania). Dear brother-in-law of Wayne VOSBOURGH (Jackie), Wanda RADMORE (Ron), Art McALLISTER (late Sandra) and their families. Sincere thanks to Sheila MacLEAN, primary Victorian Order of Nurses, and her team of dedicated nurses and the Personal Support Workers for their compassionate care throughout Ignas' illness. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 3 p.m. at The Church of the Redeemer, 162 Bloor St. W., Toronto (Bloor and Avenue Road).
