the Founder and President of Burlington Diecasting Ltd. and Burlington
Technologies Inc. (1965). Among Len's many acts of philanthropy,
his most notable was being the major donor and benefactor to
The Carpenter Hospice. Many thanks to the staff at the Joseph

The loving care and support given to our Dad and family at this
amazing home will never be forgotten. Len's wonderful sense of
humour, distinctive laugh and knack for having a joke for everyone

Saturday evening on March 11, 2006 at the
SRH - St. Joseph's Health Centre
at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late Angus and Rozalia (Skakun)
Presunka. Wife of the late George Howard Darroch. Mother of David George
Darroch. Cherished grandmother of Bonnie Darroch and her fiancee Glen
Austin, Laurie Darroch and Sherri DeLuca (Darroch) and her husband Dan
DeLuca. Great grandmother of David Austin, Matthew DeLuca, Alexander Austin
and a newborn DeLuca girl. Predeceased by her sisters Matty Patterson
(Presunka), Emily Charbonneau (Presunka) and Phyllis Anderson (Presunka).
Predeceased by brothers Walter (Lad) Presunka, Russel Presunka and David
Presunka. Survived by sister Peggy Goodman (Presunka). Alice retired after
37 years as a registered nurse (practicing). She specialized in many areas
including obstetrics and pediatrics. Alice had a fondness for children,
cooking, gardening, collecting, camping, fishing, knitting, reading and
music. She has knitted countless lamb chop puppets which she donated to
local hospitals and churches. It was Alice's wish not to have any funeral or
visitation services, however the family will hold an open celebration of her
life at a later date. Alice's family would like to thank the Friends and
staff at the St. Joseph's Villa and also the staff at St. Joseph's Health
Centre. Any donations can be made to Alice's favorite charities: the Cancer
Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the
Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.

TASLIMI to the Abha Kingdom on Sunday, January 29, 2006.
Sorur is survived by her three children Janet, Ala and Shahin,
her daughters-in-law Brenda and Cina, and her grandchildren Justin,
Shayda, Lailee, Ryan, as well as her sister Gloria. She will
be greatly missed by the entire Alizadeh and Taslimi families
and their extensions throughout many parts of the world. A celebration
