After a long illness, Elisabetta died peacefully at home in Mississauga on Saturday, March 11, 2006. Predeceased by her husband Nicolo ALBA. Beloved mother of Calogero and wife Maria and Giusto and wife Antonnietta. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Marisa, Nicholas, Austin, Elizabeth, Teresa and Francesca as well as the rest of the family. Friends will be receved at the G.H. COUPLAND, Ruth Eileen (née GORRILL)
Peacefully on Saturday, February 25th, 2006, Ruth Eileen COUPLAND passed away at Lions Personal Care Centre at the age of 85. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Linda (Don) KNIGHT of Owen Sound, Ontario, Peggy of Ottawa, Nancy (Kurt) CLYDE of Winnipeg, and son, Ken (Marilyn) of Winnipeg, grandchildren, Geoff (Allison) KNIGHT, Gary, Brennan, and Pamela CLYDE, and Vincent and Laura COUPLAND. And great-grandchildren Meesha ALBANO and Kiefer KNIGHT of London, Ontario. She is also survived by her sisters, Clova DOBSON and Olive (Edgar) GAGE, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 1985. Ruth was born in Winnipeg on March 24th, 1920, where she lived most of her life. She was a lifelong member of Young United Church where she made many lasting Friendships. Throughout her life she was very much involved in the Girl Guides of Canada organization, in later life becoming a member of the Trefoil Guild. Mom worked for Clarks-Gambles in the payroll department of MacLeods for many years. Mom enjoyed her family and her Friends immensely. In her retirement years she traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Europe, New York, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. She was a picture taker and loved to share her photos with family and Friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mom's life will take place on Wednesday March 1st, at 11: 00 a.m., at Young United Church, Winnipeg. A reception will follow the service. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Lions Personal Care Centre for their excellent care over the last two years.

Passed away peacefully at home at the age of 74, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Alphen a.d. Rijn, Netherlands in 1931, immigrated to Canada in 1954 where she worked as a school teacher and later as a nurse/head nurse at Toronto Western Hospital, ending her career as a Victorian Order of Nurses nurse in East York. A loving aunt to Bernice ENGLAND, Harriet SHERMAN, Sarah ALBANO, John KONING, Ruth SAYNOR and David KONING, she is survived by Zwier KONING, Antonia KONING (wife of the late John KONING,) Tineke HEEMSKERK, Tom KONING and Janke DE JAGER. She was a committed member of the Bethel Canadian Reformed Church and will be fondly remembered by her family, Friends and congregation. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2 from 7-9 p.m. at the Bethel Canadian Reformed Church located on 11251 Bayview Avenue, Richmond Hill, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at the Bethel Canadian Reformed Church on Monday, April 3rd at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Elgin Mills Cemetery. The family would like to express their thanks to the palliative care team in York Region for their compassion and supportive care. She was born October 21, 1922; loved mother of Philip James JOHNSON of Hamilton, Karen COX of Burlington and Beverly SCHELL and her husband Clarence of Grand Valley; Marjory's greatest joy were her three granddaughters, Karen PARKER of Guelph, Tracy PARKER of Toronto and Ashley COX of Burlington. She is survived by her sisters Isabelle ALBERICO (née JOHNSON,) living in Phoenix, Arizona (husband Lew, deceased,) Elsie WHELAN (née JOHNSON,) living in Belair, Florida (husband Bill, deceased), predeceased by her siblings Chester JOHNSON (resided in Toronto,) Betty ANDERSON (née JOHNSON) and husband Keith, North Bay, Agnes BLOY (née JOHNSON, resided in Toronto with husband Bob,) Jim JOHNSON (resided in Toronto with wife Peggy), Madge JOHNSON, Edyth Mae JOHNSON, Wilfred JOHNSON (resided in Thunder Bay with wife Grace.) Marjory resided in Etobicoke for the past 40 years. Although divorced many years ago from her husband Frank McRAE, they shared a life of love and children. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942 and became a Flying Instructor in Brandon, Manitoba, than transferred to the Royal Navy (Fleet Air Arm) and trained as a Fighter Pilot. After the war Roger attended Francis Xaver University in Antigonish, then Dalhousie Law School in Halifax and graduated in 1953. He rejoined the Air Force in the Legal Branch and served until 1960. He then joined the Ontario Bar Association and practiced for the firm of Davidson and Davidson in Saint Thomas. After admission to the Ontario Bar he took over the same law practice in 1961, after retirement he worked in Real Estate in Aylmer and Saint Thomas and was a Commissionaire. Since that time he has served on the Catholic School Board, City Council in 1967,68 and 69. He is a member and past Director of the Golden K Kiwanis Club and a member of Saint Anne's Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Monday and then to Saint Anne's Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angels' Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 4: 00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the charity of choice.

Suddenly at home on Friday, December 22nd, 2006 in her 94th year. Born to missionary parents, Doctor ALBERTSON graduated from the University of Toronto's Medical School in 1938. She then specialized in Ophthalmology, established a practice at the Medical Arts Building in Toronto and began a family with Howard Murray SAUL, who predeceased her. She was also Chief of Ophthalmology at Saint_Joseph's and Women's College Hospitals, especially enjoying her surgical duties. Mary leaves behind her children Elizabeth, Murray and Margaret who will miss her greatly. Funeral service will be held at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Friday, December 29th, 2006, at 3 p.m. For those who wish, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Left his world the way he lived it, as a true and dignified gentleman, succumbing to cancer on April 1, 2006 at the Victoria Hospital, with his family by his side. Born in Kent, England, August 1925, Ron served with the Royal Air Force during World War 2, postings icluded Belgium, France, Holland and Turkey. After the war, Ron became a prominent electrical engineer in England, immigrating to Canada in 1958, working for the Department of Transport Canada for 22 years at London International Airport, as a maintenance supervisor. Ron was an incredible man with a sense of humour, strength of character, always ready to help, and he loved his garden. Ron is the beloved husband of 50 years and best friend of Margaret ("Petal"). Loving and devoted father of Lisa and her husband James ALBION. Predeceased by daughter Deborah. Much adored popa of Ashley, Hailey, and Austin. Brother to Leslie and his wife Betty, and Joyce FREIBOTH. Uncle to Kathy, Jennifer, Davina and Claire. Brother-in-law of Don SMITH and his wife Brenda, and family. Peacefully passed away at the Ajax Pickering Hospital in his 95th year. Harry was a resident of the Taunton Mills Nursing Home in Whitby along with his beloved wife Margaret of 73 years. Loving father of Barry and his wife Tina, and grandchildren Michele, Denise, Lisa, Bradley, Kevin and Trevor; Lynne (ALBRECHT) and her husband Erwin (living in Austria), and grandchildren Karen and Lori; Gail (SHARKEY) and friend Bill NEWHOUSE of Picton, and grandchildren Leslie and Russell. Also a loving and caring great-grandfather of twelve and a great-great-grandfather of two. Harry was a long time resident of Oakville along with his wife Margaret and family. He was a Sergeant Major in the Lorne Scots in Oakville during the Second World War. He was a valued and dedicated volunteer with the Red Cross for over 17 years repairing all of the equipment loaned out to those in need. Harry was an avid golfer and wood carver par excellence. Harry was in sales with Business Systems and Crain Business Systems in Toronto for 44 years before retiring in 1971. He will be remembered by many as unselfish and always willing to help anyone who had a need for assistance of any kind. A special thanks to Tina from Harry and the family for her unwavering support and the countless hours spent over the years ensuring he had a great life.
