Dave worked over forty years in the investment business in Montreal,
Toronto, and Barrie. Dave contributed to his community through
his many volunteer services, including many years with Scouts
Canada, and most recently with the Sugarbush Terry Fox Run. Dave
lived his life devoted to his family, many good Friends and his
love of nature. A memorial reception to remember and celebrate
Dave's life will be held at Horseshoe Valley Resort, Fairway
Room, on Wednesday 19 April at 2: 00 p.m. For directions please

and brother Robert (Margaret) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Don served as a lieutenant in the
Canadian Army Corps from 1943-45, and graduated from Queen's
University in 1947. He worked at Beach Foundry in Ottawa, Steelcase
Furniture in Don Mills and was the owner of a private enterprise,
King Smallwares. As an alumnus of the Youth Group of Saint_James
United Church in Ottawa, Don devoted a large part of his life
to the service of others. He was an active member of Saint_James
United Church in Ottawa, Birchmount United Church in Agincourt,
Lemonville United Church and Zion United Church in Carnarvon.
He was also a dedicated member of the Lions Clubs in Minden and
Stouffville and a charter member of the Ballantrae Lions Club.
As a cancer survivor of 1959, and an active community member
everywhere he lived, he has left a legacy of perseverance in
the face of adversity and service to others in each community
in which he lived in the 84 years God gave him. A passionate
builder, fixer and gardener, Don touched the lives of many, including
the campers and staff at Camp Big Canoe and Camp Kirk. Memories
abound from the cottage on Boshkung Lake he built and fostered
as a gathering place for family and Friends. In the past year
and a half he met the challenges of A.L.S. with a sense of humour,
courage and dignity. He leaves behind a legacy of a demonstrated
ability to meet adversity with courage and gives credence to
the adages of "live life to the fullest", and "give, and it will
be given back". He will be missed. Friends may call at O'Neill
Funeral Home, 6324 Main Street, Stouffville (905-642-2855) on Thursday
6-9 p.m. Service in the Chapel Friday at 11 a.m. If desired,

Born in Michigan, Clayton served overseas during World War 2
with the 4th Canadian Armoured Division. He was a member of the
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 640 Noelville. Clayton worked for
over 30 years with the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local
46 Toronto. In retirement he enjoyed his farm and planting trees.
