The family of Margaret SINCLAIR would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for all the support we have received since the death of our beloved mother. In her last few weeks we were overwhelmed by the wonderful care given by the Parameds, the Victorian Order of Nurses nurses and the tender assistance provided by Peggy Luxton's staff of Caring Hands. We will always be grateful to Dr. CHAN for the medical services he continued to provide for our mother. The floral tributes, donations, cards, gifts of food and other expressions of sympathy have been very comforting to us throughout this difficult time. We were deeply touched by the provision of a catered meal in our home courtesy of the culinary talents of Ruth BUTLER, May HOWES, Tina WATSON and Ben WILTON. Thank you to Rob Fawcett and his excellent team for their attention to every detail. We could not have asked for more consideration on our behalf. A special thank you to the staff at Hair Fair for styling mom's hair exactly as she would have liked, complete with the little net. Mother always wished her service to be conducted from Gentle Shepherd Church and her wish was granted with special gifts of beauty. We thank Pastor Ann GILLIES for her thoughtful message and her kind words of comfort, her son, Matthew, for his mastery of the sound system and the lovely harmony of Dianne CARLSON, Judy MacNEILL and Irene LITTLE, skillfully accompanied by Heather WIGHT. Krista BULLOCK's piano solo was a special tribute to her great-grandmother. We extend sincere appreciation to the Gentle Shepherd Women, under the capable coordination of Joan McGEE, for providing such a delicious lunch. Reverend PRINCE's visit to our home on Christmas Eve day will always be a treasured memory. Perhaps the best way we can thank this community in its entirety, is through Mom's own words which we recently discovered in a written message to her family, "God bless you all".

Canada's Number One Singing Cowboy, Earl worked at CKNX Radio and Television starting in the 1940's. He composed over 350 songs including his signature song Moonlight on the Manitoulin Island. He recorded on the RCA label. Earl was a past Executive Director of the Stratford Musician Association a regular performer on the CKNX Barn Dance and later toured and recorded with the "Heywood Family". One of his many accomplishments was the formation of the Barn Dance Historical Society. It is with deepest sadness that her family announces the passing of Bernice Joan TURNER, 75, who left us suddenly on May 26, 2006, while at her home in Burlington, Ontario. Bernice was truly a great lady. She was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma, a caring and thoughtful woman who welcomed many people into her extended circle of Friends. Her warmth, innate graciousness, kindness, intelligence, good humour and steadfast independence enriched and enlightened the lives of everyone she knew, be they family members, Friends or colleagues at the Toronto-Dominion Bank. Born and raised during the Great Depression among the Wilton clan in Toronto, Bernice was a pillar of strength and courage her entire life. Predeceased in 1992 by Howard, her husband of 41 years, Bernice is survived by: brothers Gordon WILTON (Mary,▼) Wesley WILTON (Terry) and sister Marguerite O'NEILL; sons David (Beth) and Ron (Dee) and daughter Susan (Giuliano); grandchildren Margo (Rich), Nadine, David, Julia, Maddy, Katharine, Ryan, and Dante; great-grandchildren Trey and Leo, and all the WILTON clan. Bernice also leaves behind devoted and kind, long-time Friends Marie and Norm MURRAY, among many others in Burlington and Toronto. HANLEY, Peter (1939-2006)
Died suddenly while shoveling snow on Monday, November 27, 2006. Peter was known for his wonderful fun loving free spirit. He was an entrepreneur, with several successful businesses to his credit. Peter cared deeply for family, Friends, and pets. He was always available when needed. Peter is survived by his daughters and their families: Shannon McFADDEN, (Brian,) Christie LAMONTAGNE, Robert LAMONTAGNE; Kathleen WILTSEY, (Greg), Kirk, Kayla and Shawna. He is pre-deceased by his ex-wife Frances HANLEY, and daughter Corinne HANLEY- GUS. He will be greatly missed. Please do not send flowers, send donations in kind to the Humane Society. SNOW, Edith Eileen (née STEPHENSON)
Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Southampton Care Centre, early November 11, 2006. Wife, mother, talented seamstress and baker extraordinaire, Eileen began her life in Willowdale, Ontario on March 13, 1923, marrying the love of her life, John A. SNOW in 1950 and eventually moving to Niagara Falls, Kincardine and Southampton. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Deborah (Frank FELETTI,) sons Christopher (Nancy) and Greg (Rainy,) her six grandchildren Vincent and Aurora FELETTI, Jaimee (Dave STILES,) Shelby SNOW, Brittany and Sabina SNOW and great-grand_son Pearson STILES. Also survived by her sister Dorothy GUMMERSALL, her brother-in-law Harold (Mary) SNOW and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband John, parents George and Edith (WILTSHIRE) STEPHENSON and three brothers George, Bill and John STEPHENSON. A celebration in honour of the wonderful gift of her life will be held at 383 McNabb Street, Unit 114, Southampton on Tuesday November 14, 2006 at 1 o'clock. Eileen's family thanks the staff and nurses for all the care she received at Southampton Care Centre. Adrienne emigrated to Canada in 1952, and was the daughter of the late Rene and Marie DESMET of Belgium. Beloved companion of Leslie (Bob) TODD of Tillsonburg, and beloved wife of the late Camiel VANDENEECKHOUT (1974.) Dear mother of Wm. (Bill) VANDENEECKHOUT and his late Irene (2005) of Tillsonburg; Nancy (Charlie) OWLES of Saint Thomas; Robert (Doris) VANDENEECKHOUT of Tillsonburg. Adrienne was a member of the Tillsonburg Royal Canadian Legion Branch #53. She enjoyed organizing bus trips to the various Ontario Casino's; she enjoyed playing a game of darts, playing bingo, knitting, and crocheting. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Suddenly at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Friday, September 22, 2006, Jim HAVLIK, of Thamesford, in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Marianne (SANDHAM) HAVLIK for 24 years. Dear brother of Melanie WILYMAN, uncle of Cory, Scott and his wife Melissa PLUCH and great uncle of Owen and Olivia WILYMAN all of Toronto. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Stephanie HAVLIK of Brandon, Manitoba. Dear son-in-law of the late Howard and Betty SANDHAM of Thamesford. Predeceased by two sons Jay (1975) and Jimmy (1992). Cremation has taken place and a private interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
