Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital with her sister Orma by her side. Loving mother of Sharon (Edwin), Shirley, and Murray (Cathy). Grandma will forever be in the hearts of her seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas St. W. (Former Real Estate and Insurance Broker and Tobacco farmer, all in the Tillsonburg area). (Member of Saint Peter's Bascilica, London; Saint Mary's Church Tillsonburg and the Knights of Columbus #3212, Tillsonburg. Born in Chigaco, Illinois, U.S.A. son of the late Casimir POCIUS and the late former Mary SOWINSKA. Much loved husband and best friend of 18 years of Janina (RANOSHKIENE) POCIUS. Predeceased by his first wife Anastasia (TRAWCHUK) POCIUS (December 1, 1986.) Loved father, father-in-law of Loretta POCIUS of London, Monica HILLBORG of Port Dover, Gregory and Tammy POCIUS of Simcoe, Asta POCIUS of Lithuania, and Audra POCIUS of Scarborough. Proud and loving grandfather of ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Reunited in Heaven with two beloved children Irene MAROZSAN and James POCIUS and his three brothers and his two sisters who also predeceased him. Loved grandfather of Brian and Anne TRAXLER, Karem and Mark KALIN, Chad, Adam, Karin, and Erik VANDERDUIM and great-grandfather of Sam and Sarah TRAXLER and Walker and Nate KALIN. Also survived by sister Hinke (Helen) NEEF of Saint Thomas and Anna VISSCHER of the Netherlands, sister-in-law Sandra VANDERDUIM of Waterloo and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Binnert (Bert) VANDERDUIM and an infant son. Predeceased by her husband Doctor R. Lawrence TWIBLE, her son William, and her sister Muriel COWAN. Loving mother of Mary and Gerry ARMSTRONG, and her daughter-in-law Patricia TWIBLE. Much loved Nana of Susan (Chris BAPTISTE), Robert (Anne), Carol (Peter TRAYNOR). Stephen (Laura), James and Laura, and her eight precious great-grandchildren. She also leaves her niece Joy COUPEY, Linda BERRY, and nephews Robert COWAN and Bruce TWIBLE. A funeral service will be held Monday November 20th at 11 a.m. at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church.
