Bill graduated from Stratford Collegiate, attended the University
of Western Ontario, and served in World War 2 as Forward Observation
Officer, 23rd Field Regiment (S.P.) at Caen, Falaise Gap, Kapelsche
Veer, the Rhine and Hochald Gap. After attending Osgoode Hall,
Bill commenced the practice of law in London in 1948. He was
Past President of the Middlesex Law Association, Past Chairman
of the London Board of Education, Past President of the Corps
of Commissionaires, Founding Director of the London Bar Admission
Course, proud Commander of the Seventh Field Regiment of Wolseley
Barracks London, author of "Canada Ours to Defend", caring and
active member of the Church of Saint_John the Evangelist. Friends
may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Harris
Funeral Home, 220 Saint_James Street at Richmond. The funeral service
will be conducted in the Church of Saint_John the Evangelist, 280 Saint_James
