THORBURN--In loving memory of Bud (George) Thorburn, who passed away February 9, 2004.
A man's not remembered for money or fame,
or the car that he drove, or the sound of his name.
It isn't his clothes that made him a king.
For a man isn't measured by material things.
It's the songs that he sang, and the wisdom he shared
His laughter and smile, and the way that he cared.
It's the hands that he held, and the warmth of his heart.
For these are the things that set him apart.
His chair remains empty, but he's with us here.
Sometimes in a lesson, a smile, or a tear.
In the eyes of his daughter or the words of his wife
It's the blessings he left us that measure his life.
Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family, Elaine, Cheryl, John and family, Mary Ellen and Chris and family.
