It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our dearly loved James, at home surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Fern (HYNES;) devoted and loving father of Kevin (wife Maria) of Whitby, daughter Lynn and step-daughter Melanie BAINES, both of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Sara and Ryan HARVEY. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Kathleen WRIGHT- HARVEY. He will also be missed and fondly remembered by his many Friends and relatives. James spent his career on Bay Street as a Professional Stock Trader, where he enjoyed the excitement and challenges of the market and whereby he developed and maintained many enduring Friendships to this day. Dearly loved mother of Richard and his wife Marilyn and Gordon and his wife Jennifer. Dear grandmother of Kevin, David, Caroline and Stuart. Loving sister of Pauline and her husband Jack STODDARD. Cherished Auntie Myrt of Linda GAMBLE and Diana TANT. Devoted friend to Janet MUNRO. Myrtle was a founding partner of Global Sensor Systems Inc. and was always interested in the business. She will be remembered for her sharp wit and wonderful pies. A private family service was held on Friday December 29, 2006 followed by cremation. Passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2006 at Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga after a short but valiant battle with cancer. He was pre-deceased by his father, Joseph DIPPONG, mother Helen DIPPONG and former wife Jacklyn DIPPONG of Auckland, N.Z. Albert is survived by his brother Joseph (Angie,) sister Gizi TANTE and several nieces, nephews and cousins who adored their beloved uncle Albert. Albert is also survived by his dear friend and caregiver Mary Ruth BARNES and many others who have known him over the years as a generous and devoted friend and mentor. Albert and his family immigrated to Canada in 1959 and as a young immigrant and athlete, Albert made best of his new opportunities. He worked in the electrical parts and service industry and eventually created Dupont Manufacturing and Electric Motor Service, based in Brampton. At the same time he pursued his talent and love for gymnastics at the national, international and Olympic level. Albert was a member of the first Board of Directors of Gymnastics Ontario and gave much of his time to the sport he loved. Friends and family are invited to The Scott Funeral Home, 289 Main St. N., Brampton (905) 451-1100 on Friday, October 20, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m. for a service celebrating his life, to be followed by a wake. Jordan was a registered professional forester with experience in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. He was the Forest Genetics Council of B.C.'s Executive Secretary from 1995 to 2003, and was currently with the secretariat to the Forest Science Board, which oversees B.C.'s Forest Investment Account Forest Science Program. A heart-felt thank you to her wonderful doctors, especially Alan FEGELMAN, Stanley FEINBERG and Russell TANZER, the nurses of North York General Hospital and the terrific care-givers from Senior Lifestyle Solutions. Suddenly on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Saint_Joseph's Health Centre in her 74th year. Joan, beloved wife of the late Johnny. Loving mother of Johnny Jr., Linda, Sharon, Teresa, Patricia, Anthony Sr., Tammy and the late Christopher and their spouses. Nanny to Tera-Lynn, Jimmy, Ryan, Anthony Jr., Tanya, Teddy Jr., Tamara, Rachel, and Dillon. Sister of Margaret, Paul, Mary, and the late William and Shirley and their spouses. Will be sadly missed by her family and Friends. Visitation will be held at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Avenue, Etobicoke, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral prayers Monday, 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
