Together they ministered to 13 churches in the Atlantic provinces and Ontario, over a period of more than 40 years. Andrew Jonathan PRINCE died on June 22, 2006 in hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina after a heroic battle with a lengthy illness. Andrew is survived by his parents Teri (STROSBERG) PRINCE and Gus (PRISTUPA) PRINCE, his brother Stephen Alexander PRINCE, his grandmother Sylvia STROSBERG, his aunts and uncles, Susan EANSOR (New York and Charlotte), Harvey and Cathy STROSBERG (Windsor) and Marg and John STEWARD/STEWART/STUART (Toronto,) and his cousins, Elaine STROSBERG, Sharon STROSBERG, Jay STROSBERG, David STEWARD/STEWART/STUART, Heather STEWARD/STEWART/STUART, Marni LYONS, Franklin LYONS, Howard BARR, David ROBINS, Jordana STROSBERG and Josh HALIBURTON. He was predeceased by his grandparents Gus and Mary PRISTUPA, and his grandfather Philip STROSBERG. Andrew was loved and admired throughout his very short life. Andrew was born in Toronto on June 4, 1983. He attended the York School until moving to North Carolina in 1996. A 2001 graduate of Union Pines High School, Andrew majored in mathematics at the University of North Carolina. He was awarded numerous scholarships and honors including the Discover Card Gold Tribute Award. Andrew spent the last two years of his life courageously enduring his illness while still pursuing his special interests in music, cinema, science, aviation and travel. He was the ultimate Renaissance man. We will miss him forever. The Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. at the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, (519-253-5225) 1139 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor, Ontario. Burial will follow in the Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery on Pillette Road, Windsor, Ontario. Bill was educated at the University of Guelph and Michigan State University and was a professor of Microbiology at the University of Waterloo until retirement to Little Pike Bay on the Bruce Peninsula. Bill enjoyed golfing, curling, boating and was very active on many committees in Lions head and the Grey Bruce Region. To honour Bill's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the North York General Hospital, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of David STRUAN. Lee was born December 31. 1925 and grew up in Kentucky where she graduated from law school at the University of Kentucky. She taught law at Washington and Lee University in Virginia and lived around the world with David. They finally settled in Toronto in 1956. She was active in the University Women's Club of North York, the Young Women's Christian Association and Legal Aid. Lee was a southern 'lady' who touched many lives. Her inimitable style and grace will be greatly missed. A private family service will be held at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel. Predeceased by brothers Fred and James STRUCKETT, and sister Joan STRUCKETT. She had a strong spirit and wonderful way of seeing the good in everything and everyone. Beloved husband of the late Marion (MARSH) BOWIE. Best friend and loving companion of Jean STRUTHERS of London. Dear father of Jim BOWIE and his wife Wanda of Windsor, Ruth YOUNG and her husband Robert of Ilderton and Margaret BOWIE of London. Loved by his 6 grandchildren Andrew (Leah), Charles (Lee), Jenny, Heather, Anne Marie and Michael, and his 2 great-grandchildren Benjamin and Claire. Dear brother of Jean BELL and her husband Albert of London, and survived also by his brother-in-law Leaman MARSH and his wife Gerda of London, and his sister-in-law Ruth BLANSHARD of London. Bill proudly served his country as a Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War 2, and was formerly a resident of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, and Windsor. In his early adult years, Bill was very active musically and was a tenor soloist in both the London area and Alberta. In later years, Bill very much enjoyed both golfing and sailing. Frances Louise SCOBIE, age 88, of Cedarcroft Place, Stratford passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, November 2, 2006. Frances was predeceased by her 1st husband Doctor Hugh THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (1988,) by her 2nd husband Kenneth SCOBIE (2000,) by a daughter F. Jane THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (2003,) by a sister Mollie STRUTHERS and a brother Bill SMYTH. She is the loving mother of Ian THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON and his wife Susan, Stratford. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Jason, Scott and Mark THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON. A family service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2006. at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford. Cremation with interment in Avondale Cemetery, Stratford.
