In her 90th year. Stella was predeceased in 1969 by her husband

Coula was loved by her great-nieces and great-nephews who enjoyed
her unique spirit and interest in them. She is also survived
by her son George
TRAKAS and granddaughter Maggie
TRAKAS and
nieces and nephew. Coula was a wonderful woman, who brought love
and joy to anyone lucky enough to spend time with her. Her sister,
Eleni, knew that better than anyone, and enjoyed a special relationship
with her. Their bonds were not inspired by blood alone. They
loved each other's company and were simply the best of Friends.
They were devoted to each other always. People were easily touched
by Coula's nurturing warmth, impeccable taste and fine beauty.
Her cooking was delicious enough to feed the gods and she graciously
and generously shared it with many. Her nature was to heal and
love people whom she met. She was an attentive listener who offered
guidance without judgment, commiserating with sorrows, diffusing
anger and softening the blows of disappointments. Time spent
with beautiful Coula inevitably left one bolstered with confidence
to move forward. Students at McGill University still remember
her kind and caring ways 30 years after she was a student advisor
there. Those of us who loved her are blessed with incredible
memories of time spent in her company. Coula, you will be remembered,
missed and forever in our hearts.
