Born May 23, 1972 in Toronto and died suddenly January 18, 2002,

Four years have passed since you have been gone
But the pain has not lessened and our lives will never be the same.
Celebrations come and go but are never the same without you.
Within just a few days your dreams of furthering, your career
as a pilot, and your plans to marry were gone.
However, others were able to realize their dreams through your
wish to have your organs donated.
Your Friends still talk of their loss of a caring and loyal friend
You were a wonderful son, an adored brother and terribly missed

Our Only Daughter Suddenly November 15, 2004
I'll lend you for a little time a child of Mine" He said, For
you to love the while she lives and mourn for when she's dead.
I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to
learn Now will you give her all your love, nor think the labour
vain, Nor hate Me when I come to call to take her back again
"Dear Lord, Thy will be done!" For all the joy Thy child shall
bring, the risk of grief we'll run, We'll shelter her with tenderness,
we'll love her while we may. And for the happiness we've known,
forever grateful stay; But shall the angels call for her much
sooner than we've planned, We'll brave the bitter grief that
comes and try to understand. A memorial prayer was said for Nicole

Man, 39, charged in wife's death
Body found in Markham garage
In Brampton, man shot and killed
By Stan JOSEY,
Staff
Reporter
Police in Peel and York regions are investigating two homicides
over the weekend.
In York, police have charged a Markham man after his wife's body
was found in the garage of their home on Kruger Rd. shortly after
9 a.m. Saturday.
Sugirthanraj
KAILAYAPILLAI, 39, is charged with second-degree
murder in the death of his wife, Thayalini
SUBRAMANIAM, 31.
An autopsy is being held today to determine the cause of death.
In Peel, Mervyn
SPENCE, 41, of Brampton was gunned down as he
left a private event at a restaurant, in an industrial plaza
at Steeles Ave E. and Torbram Rd., around 4 a.m. Saturday.
Crime-scene tape was still in place around about a dozen stores
in the plaza yesterday as police tried to reconstruct the bloody
path that led from the Malibu Marie lounge to a nearby parking
lot, where the man was found in a pool of blood.
A large number of people attended the event, but so far police
have not come up with a motive for the shooting, which took place
as the party was ending.
They have not ruled out the possibility that
SPENCE was shot
several times while trying to run to safety.
Police want to talk to anyone at the party who can shed some
light on the shooting.

Convicted killer shot dead
Slain 26-year-old was convicted a decade ago for stabbing a teenager
to death at the Kennedy subway station
By John DUNCANSON,
Staff
Reporter
A Mississauga man convicted of killing a 15-year-old about a
decade ago was shot to death yesterday outside a car dealership
on Front St. W. near Spadina Ave.
So far, police have no suspects in the murder of Dennis Kwame
OPPONG, 26, who was shot in the head around 3 a.m.
OPPONG, also known as "Dennis the Menace" was charged back in
early 1996 with second-degree murder, and later convicted, in
the stabbing death of Ishmael
SPENCE.
Both were just 15-year-olds
at the time of the murder.
SPENCE was on his way home around 4 p.m. when he was confronted
by OPPONG at a bus platform at the Kennedy subway station.
The youth was fatally stabbed and police at the time took out
a special warrant to name
OPPONG, then a young offender. He spent
several days on the lam before he was arrested, police said.
Police couldn't say last night how much time
OPPONG spent in
jail for the
SPENCE murder.
Security cameras at the Toronto Transit Commission station captured
images of SPENCE clutching his chest and staggering through the
crowded station before he collapsed near a kiosk and died.
There was a theory at the time that
OPPONG may have been part
of an east-end gang and that the two teenagers had exchanged
words just before
SPENCE was stabbed.
But police said afterwards that the attack on
SPENCE was unprovoked.
Investigators found a knife in a snowbank near the station.
It's unclear what
OPPONG was doing for a living at the time of
his slaying yesterday, but police said he was known to them.
Police aren't releasing an alleged motive for the killing but
said they have reviewed video-surveillance images from the area
and want to talk to five people who were in cars at the time
of the death, including a cab driver.
Investigators say they received a 911 call around 3 a.m.
When they arrived, they found
OPPONG on the north sidewalk of
a Front St. W. address, across from a car dealership, with a
gunshot wound to the head. He died while on the way to the hospital.
Yesterday, yellow police tape remained around the scene of the
homicide, which included a car, but police would not say whether
the vehicle was driven by
OPPONG or by one of his killers.
OPPONG is the city's 65th homicide of this year and the 26th victim
to die in a shooting.
Police are reviewing
OPPONG's movements prior to his death and
are asking anyone with information to call 416-808-1404 or Crime
Stoppers at 416-222-8477.
