Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband Charles TRENHOLM; daughter Mona HARBOTTLE (LEBLANC) sisters Louise WINTERSGILL, Alice BROWN, Susie PARKER, Annie GEORGE and Cecilia ROURKE. Survivors include daughter Nona BOUDREAU of Calgary, sons Greg (Nancy OSTMAN) TRENHOLM of Dryden and Rick (Kathy) TRENHOLM of Calgary. She will be greatly missed by grandchildren, Kevin LEBLANC, Judy PRETLI, Jo-Ann WATSON, David BOUDREAU, Renee BOUDREAU-KENDLEY, Denise BOUDREAU, Greg TRENHOLM, Jackie TRENHOLM, Patty TRENHOLM, Jeff TRENHOLM and Tyler TRENHOLM; plus numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Beatrice was born and lived her early years in Oxdrift. Once married, she moved to Amherst, Nova Scotia After her husband's death, she moved to Chatsworth to care for Gillan CURRIE, where she farmed and raised her family for many years before moving to Dryden. She eventually returned to Owen area and resided at Lee Manor until her death. She will be remembered fondly for her great laughter, sense of humor and her love for all animals. With deep sadness the family announces the passing of our beloved Linda.▼ Linda▼ Joan▼ SPANO was born in Belleville, Ontario, September 30th, 1948 and died on September 10th, 2006 following a two and half year struggle with Ovarian cancer. Linda was a loved and respected Family Doctor, a talented artist and an excellent athlete. Her academic career was notable for her insatiable curiousity and superior research skills. Linda graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing Science at the University of Western Ontario, a Masters degree in Health Science and a degree in Medicine at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. She completed her postgraduate work at the University Hospital in London, Ontario. Linda developed an approach to private Family Practice with an emphasis on the care of patients as whole persons, with integrated physical, social, spiritual and psychological lives. During her years of active practice she continued her academic interests through teaching and research. Linda was highly regarded by the senior medical faculty at the University and was invited to develop a new course in The Determinants of Health which she taught to senior professors in University of Western Ontario's Medical School. She was held in high esteem by her family medicine and specialist colleagues and much loved by her patients. Linda's strength, generosity, intelligence, kindness and courage, were all enlivened by a keen and intelligent sense of humour. She would not tolerate unkindness, dishonesty or injustice in herself or others. Left to mourn are her husband and loving companion, Dr. Michael BRENNAN, her mother Marjorie SPANO, her sister, Lorie CORRIE (John KASSIES,) her brother, Robert SPANO, her stepchildren, Dawn BRENNAN, Nonie BRENNAN (Michael PEIRCE), and Keith BRENNAN, her grandchildren Jocelyn and Andrea PEIRCE, her nieces Kristine, Robin and Erin, her nephews, Jeffrey and Michael and their families. In his 70th year, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2006 at Bluewater Health, Norman St, with his family near. Born and raised in Highgate, Ontario, Ken was the son of the late Kathleen CLANAHAN (1940) and Clarence McDONALD (1965.) Also predeceased by his grandparents Ezra McDONALD (1952) and Annie BLOOM (1963.) During his lifetime, Ken served many communities in Southwestern Ontario as a funeral director. He is survived by his children Kaye (Bill) DEMPSEY of London, Karen (Tim) BROWN of Sarnia, Kristine SPARHAM of Sarnia and John (Lisa) McDONALD of Petrolia and by their mother Maxine McDONALD.
