Passed away peacefully on December 11th after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON who predeceased Pat by 3 weeks. Pat will be sadly missed by her three children Christopher (Gillian), Karin-Louise (Johan) and Andrew (Larissa) and her seven granchildren - Julia, Miranda, Jack, Axel, Hanna, Chloe and Hunter. Pat is also survived by her brother Marvin (Mary) and sister Sharon. A private tribute for Pat was held earlier in the week. A memorial service and internment ceremony for both Lloyd and Pat will be held in the summer in Tobermory, Ontario - the family's cottage for 37 years. At Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on Sunday, December 10th, 2006, Antoinette Maria DEBOO in her 98th year. Youngest daughter of Desiderius and Catharina DEPREST. Born in Brugge, Belgium November 12th, 1909. She emigrated to Canada in 1954 and resided in Strathroy for 52 years. She leaves four generations with her daughters Catharina and Roger JORIS of Strathroy, Celina and James SOUTHERN of Kerwood and Mrs. Rose DEBOO- VANDEVELDEN of London. She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Belgium. Two grand_sons predecease her (1950) and (1998) as well as 11 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W., Strathroy on Wednesday December 13th from 10: 00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service at 11: 00 a.m. with Rev. Robert HAYNE officiating. Cremation to follow. Died at home on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the age of 54 after a two year battle with cancer. Born in Montreal on June 24, 1952. Survived and deeply missed by his partner Linda MacKEIGAN and his daughter Kate SOUTHWELL; also by his mother Marguerite SOUTHWELL, sister Linda LEHMAN, and her children. He will be fondly remembered by his "left coast" family, the Donovans - Vera, Steve, Kirstin, Lynn (Tom McCann), and Alexandra Corson-Dujardin, as well as the entire MacKeigan clan - Dallas (Rob ASHALL,) Forrest (Sharon,) Wendy (Jonathan BARKER,) and their children. As Director of Client Services for Thomson, Rogers law firm, Scott developed a deep relationship with the Acquired Brain Injury community and served it in various capacities, most notably as Chair of the Board of Community head Injury Resource Services of Toronto. He was passionate in his belief that every person has the potential to shine, given the right opportunity. An informal gathering to celebrate his life will be held at Community head Injury Resource Services of Toronto, 62 Finch Ave. W., on Wednesday December 20th from 4-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the "Community head Injury Resource Services of Toronto Foundation" (416-240-8000), directed to the Scott Southwell Acquired Brain Injury Assistance Fund. Dorothy was a life long resident of the North Walsingham area. She was owner-operator of Deeg's General Store for 40 years, a member of Langton Baptist Church and a life member of the Langton Women's Institute, just recently receiving her 50 year pin. With stillness, and her son Dennis at her side, Vivian Ann PETTIT left us at University Hospital at the age of 87 as the result of a stroke. She joins her best friend and husband of 62 years, Gar (2001) and predeceased siblings Lloyd, Ray, Bud, Madeleine, Pat and Harvey. "Mom" to Dennis (Sine) PETTIT of London and Wayne (Carmen) PETTIT of Houston, Texas. She was infinitely proud of her boys and their families. She supported them unwaveringly her entire life. Her grandchildren were so lucky to have Nana into their adult lives. Nana's stories and trips to the beach will be missed by Brooke and Brett, Carrie (Trevor) MERRICK of Edmonton, Alberta, Kelly (Dave) ROWCLIFFE of London, Stephanie (Bill) PETERS of Southampton, New York. Nothing gave Nana more joy than to see her seven great-grandchildren born. She will be missed by Josh, Kennedy, Steven, Paige, Ella, Tyler and Bridget. There will surely be a void at the annual Southwick and Pettit picnic. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews with whom she had a special bond as "Aunt Viv". Vivian had a long life starting in Weed, California where she developed a love for horses and all animals. After moving to Brantford, she met the love of her life Gar in 1938 while working at Patterson's Candy. Married 62 years, they shared a wonderful life in Brantford, Toronto, London and in retirement on the shores of Lake Huron and Winterhaven, Florida. Vivian and Gar were models for our family, immediate and extended, and we will carry forward their love, generosity, compassion and integrity with us. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place in Mount Pleasant at a later date. CHALLICE, Mary Worth (formerly RODRICK, née BISHOP)
Passed away peacefully at Lee Manor, Owen Sound on March 31, 2006. She was predeceased by her husbands, Alexander Maxwell CHALLICE and Paul RODRICK, And her parents, Reginald Worth and Edith Stewart Galbraith BISHOP. Mary was a fantastic lady who at an early age even had her pilot's license. She joined the Woman's Army Corp. in June 1943, was overseas during World War 2, and retired in May 1946 as Sgt. BISHOP. Her military career was influenced by her father, Col. Reginald Worth BISHOP and her uncle the late William Avery "Billy" BISHOP, V.C. She was also predeceased by her Aunt Louie MacKAY of Owen Sound. Mary will be fondly remembered by cousins, Arthur BISHOP of Toronto, Maurise (Jackie) WILLS- CONNOR of Ottawa, and Fred W. MacKAY of Toronto. She will also be very much remembered by Rosemary SOUTHWORTH. Private family interment will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton, Ontario.

On Saturday, May 27, 2006, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 77th year. Loved mother of Nancy ROBBINS (Peter) of Queen Charlotte Islands, Danny COULTER (Heather) of Calgary, Jim ALLEN (Bonnie) British Columbia, Bonnie SIMPSON of Saint Thomas, Donnell ALLEN (Paul) of Saint Thomas and David ALLEN (Tina) Saint Thomas. Predeceased by a son Richard ALLEN (1997) and 2 daughters Frances ALLEN (2003) and Tamara ALLEN- LOCKE (2003.) Sadly missed by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Moira MILGREW of Barrie and the late Maureen SOUTHWORTH (2003). She was born in Toronto on October 9, 1929, the daughter of the late Dan O'MULLAN and Amelia DICKSON/DIXON. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a long time Salvation Army supporter. She was a warm and caring person who gave her Friendship without judgement and was known as "Mom" to many. We will celebrate her life and cherish our memories of her. She will be greatly missed. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to follow in South Park Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Peacefully passed away at Cummer Lodge in North York, on Friday, March 31st, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Edwin DE SOUZA, beloved mother to the late Everard (Romina.) Survived by her loving daughter Merle (Paddy) and loving son Mel (Jean), 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grand_sons. She will be deeply missed by all her family and Friends. Visitation will take place at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Sunday, April 2nd from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Monday, April 3rd at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue).
