HALL, William Ross " Pete"
Of Rodney, passed away on Wednesday, may 31, 2006 at the Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital after a brief but valiant battle with cancer, at the age of 79. Ross was the beloved husband and best friend of Betty (FOWLER- SEE) and the devoted and caring step-father of her children; Richard (Jean) FOWLER of Sudbury; Michael (Joanne) FOWLER of Port Perry; Randy (Bev) FOWLER of Saint Thomas; Brenda (Denis) LAMARCHE of Welland and Robert (Carole) FOWLER of Saint Thomas. He also leaves behind his children; Judy, Nancy, Sally, Susan, Joseph, Cindy, Julie, Tony, Tracey, Robin and Willy and his brothers Clayt (Jeanne); Cliff (Marie) and Earl (Carol) or Morpeth; and his many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Larry (Sue) SEE of Port Stanley and sister-in-law Donna (Jack) NOSTADT of Maidstone. Predeceased by his parents William and Frances (CARON,) brothers Eugene and Clint (Doris;) his son Danny (1968) and his daughter Fransi (1961). He was always happiest spending time in Gods' great outdoors; camping, fishing or hunting with his family. Cremation has taken place and the cremated remains were interred in Morpeth Cemetery after the service on Saturday, June 3rd, 2006 at McKinlay Funeral Home in Ridgetown with Pastor Robert KARN officiating. At the North Bay General Hospital, on Sunday, April 16, 2006, at the age of 83 years. Thomas George Bedford LLOYD was the beloved husband of Helen Elizabeth SEEBACH, who predeceased him in 1997. Proud and loving father of Tim LLOYD (Helen BUCKIE,) Tracy CHRISTANSON (Brodie,) and Vicki CAMPBELL (Jim.) Dear Grandpa to Michael, James, David, and Steven. son of the late Nora and Charles LLOYD, formerly of Toronto, Tom is survived by his brothers Clarke and Peter. A Veteran of World War 2, Tom served in the Navy. His working life was spent with the Quaker Oats Company. A community minded man Tom was a former member of the Brampton town council. He was an active member of Powassan Lodge No. 443, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, the Rorab Shrine Club, the North Bay Heritage Railway and Community Waterfront Friends. He especially enjoyed his time as "Loco", with the Shrine Clown Unit. He was honoured several years ago by North Himsworth Township as their Senior Citizen of the Year. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home (across from city hall), North Bay, on Tuesday afternoon 2-4 p.m. and evening 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Wednesday, April 19th at 1: 30 p.m. Cremation will follow with interment of ashes in the Callander Union Cemetery. Beloved wife of Milo MORGAN and dear mother of Richard and his wife Sharon MORGAN, all of Kerwood and Susan McLEAN of London. Grandmother to Ken McLEAN, Rebecca McLEAN, Jamie MORGAN and Shawn MORGAN. Also survived by a sister Nan BROWN of Lambeth, son-in-law Don McLEAN of Strathroy, and a sister-in-law Joan HIGMAN of Strathroy. Predeceased by her brother Alex HIGMAN. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. West, Strathroy, on Wednesday, December 6 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with funeral service at 1 p.m. Rev. Charles SEED officiating. Cremation will take place with interment at Strathroy Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Mary.
