India, Burma 1941-1945 and Demobed London, England in 1946. Relatives

Street, Glencoe on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. where a Memorial
Service will be held on Saturday, June 10th at 11 a.m. Interment
of cremated remains at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London at

Andrew was loved and admired throughout his very short
life. Andrew was born in Toronto on June 4, 1983. He attended
the York School until moving to North Carolina in 1996. A 2001
graduate of Union Pines High School, Andrew majored in mathematics
at the University of North Carolina. He was awarded numerous
scholarships and honors including the Discover Card Gold Tribute
Award. Andrew spent the last two years of his life courageously
enduring his illness while still pursuing his special interests
in music, cinema, science, aviation and travel. He was the ultimate
Renaissance man. We will miss him forever. The Funeral Service
will take place on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. at the
Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, (519-253-5225) 1139 Ouellette
Avenue, Windsor, Ontario. Burial will follow in the Shaar Hashomayim

2006 following a courageous battle with cancer, two weeks shy
of his 78th birthday. He faced this difficult challenge with
strength and determination which were inspirational to all. He
was surrounded by love throughout his illness and during his

retiring in 1989. He was a master telegrapher and respected train
dispatcher throughout the Maritime Provinces and Ontario. The
family extends a Heartfelt "Thank You" to the Doctors and Nurses
of The Moncton City Hospital and George L. Dumont Hospital in
Moncton, New Brunswick. The sincere care and compassion will
forever be remembered. At Bernie's request, cremation has taken
place. A private burial will take place in Brookside Cemetery

at her home in Kitchener, on Thursday, June 29, 2006. Beloved

She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Barbara

Kitchener, sister-in-law, Linda
ABT of Dundas and father-in-law,
Jack ENGLISH of Waterloo. She is also survived by many nieces
and nephews and cousins in Canada and Germany. Her father Josef
and her brother Joseph predeceased her in 2005. Hilde was born
in Chemnitz, Germany on February 27, 1945 and emigrated to Canada
in August 1953 where they settled in Kitchener. Hilde attended
Saint Mary's and Eastwood high schools, the University of Waterloo,
and the University of Western Ontario Law School where she graduated
on the Dean's Honours List. She practised law in Waterloo from
1976 to 2006 and was Counsel for Sutherland Mark. Hilde was active
in her community and her profession. She has served on several
boards including the Kitchener-Waterloo Community Foundation,
C.O.D.A., the Canadian Clay and Glass Museum, the Waterloo and
later Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, the University
of Waterloo Board of Governors, and the Grand River Conservation
Foundation. She also served on the board of the Advocate's Society,
the Canadian Bar Association (Ontario), Opera Ontario, and was
the founding chair of the Ontario Liberal Party Women's Commission.
She was named Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Woman of the Year
in 1999 and received the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002,
and the Tim Fitzpatrick Community Service Award in 2005. During
her long battle, Hilde's many Friends baked and cooked for her
and her family, and drove her to many medical appointments. She
had a gift for Friendship, which was returned in abundance. The
family would like to thank all of these Friends and especially

Leslie
MILLER pursued a distinguished career
in Civil Engineering. He supervised construction of hydro-electric
dams and plants in Quebec, Pakistan, Brazil and British Columbia
bauxite mining and aluminum smelting operations in Guyana, Jamaica,
Guinea, Brazil, India and Ireland; and rolling mills in Argentina
and in Oswego, New York. Mr.
MILLER was a keen golfer and was
a member of the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club. He was also
interested in many sports, and was an avid reader and traveller,
interested in world affairs, as well as a family man. In keeping
with Leslie's wishes, cremation will be followed by a Memorial
Reception in the James Reid Funeral Home, Reception Centre (1900 John
Counter Blvd., Kingston, rear entrance) on Friday, December 1,
2006 from 2-4 p.m. A celebration of Leslie's life will be held
during the reception at 3 p.m., Reverend Canon Michael
