Passed away peacefully at home, with family at her side, on Monday, February 6, 2006, at the age of 82. Predeceased by Lauro, her loving husband of 49 years, and dear brothers Juan and Mario. Cherished mother of Adriana and her late husband Roberto, Mario and his wife Marta. Proud grandmother of Roberto, Adrian, Carolina, Juan Guido and Juan Pablo. Dearly missed by her sister Aida and husband Richard, Ana and husband Eduardo. Angela also so loved all her family and countless Friends with whom her journey of life was enriched. Many thanks to her extensive care team: Dr. BUCKMAN and palliative care workers Julia, Arlene and Tadu, who helped her with their care and kindness through her illness. Sister Marilyn died peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, March 25th, 2006, in the 46th year of her religious life. She was the daughter of Joan MERAW (LANGEVIN) of Tweed and the late Leo MERAW. Along with the members of her religious community, she leaves to mourn her brothers Paul and his wife Liz of Picton and Tony and his wife Gwen of Ardoch and her sisters Nancy and her husband Gerald O'HEARN of Tweed, Margie HEALEY of Bowmanville, Claire and her husband Larry LAROCHELLE of Sault Ste. Marie, Anne and her husband Ray PARADIS of New Liskeard, and many nieces, nephews, aunts and Friends. Sister Marilyn was predeceased by her brother-in-law Michael HEALEY. Sister Marilyn received her education in Tweed, Ontario, her B.A. from the University of Western Ontario and her Masters of Ministry and Spirituality from Regis College. She taught at Saint Anne's and St. Frances de Sales in Peterborough, Saint Mary's in Cobourg, Wainwright, Alberta, Vancouver and Bracebridge. Upon leaving teaching, Sister Marilyn did pastoral ministry in Sheshatshit, Labrador and Native Ministry in Espanola. She was parish administrator in West Bay, Ontario for several years. Since 1994 Sister Marilyn was involved with retreat ministry at Villa Saint_Joseph in Cobourg. Visitation will be held at Mount Saint_Joseph, Peterborough, from 2-9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28th. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mount Saint_Joseph on Wednesday, March 29th, at 10: 30 a.m. Cremation with Interment at Saint Peter's Cemetery. Beloved daughter of Judi HAIG- TULLIO and Carmine TULLIO slipped quietly away, surrounded by her family, after a courageous eight month battle with Aplastic Anaemia. Nicola had a brilliant, cheerful and loving spirit. She touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed by her parents, her two sisters Paige and Christine, and all four grandparents, Rina and Antonio TULLIO and Mary and Robert HAIG. Remembering her fondly will be the families of Carmine's brothers and Judi's sisters - Paul and Susan TULLIO, Tony and Tania TULLIO, Marnie and Yves PARADIS, Pamela and Bill BARTLEY, and Barbara HAIG. Formerly of Saint Thomas, after a prolonged illness that robbed her of communication, passed away at dawn on November 10, 2006, at the Sunnyside Home in Kitchener, Ontario, in her 85th year. She was the eldest daughter in the Elgin County farming family of the late William and Eva BLEWETT, and the beloved wife of city trainman and musician, the late W. Jack GRAVES of Saint Thomas. She was a nursing graduate of the Saint Thomas Memorial Hospital Class of 1944. Winnie enjoyed the love and admiration of her brothers and sisters and their families, as they celebrated their milestones with brunches in the London-Saint Thomas area. She will be missed by her sisters, Flossie (Ed, dec.) TRIMBLE, Marion (Bill) WHITE/WHYTE and Suzanne MILLIGAN, and her brothers, Jack (Eleanor) BLEWETT: Ted (Barbara) BLEWETT, and George (Joy, dec.) Formerly of Saint Thomas, after a prolonged illness that robbed her of communication, passed away at dawn on November 10, 2006, at the Sunnyside Home in Kitchener, Ontario, in her 85th year. She was the eldest daughter in the Elgin County farming family of the late William and Eva BLEWITT, and the beloved wife of city trainman and musician, the late W. Jack GRAVES of Saint Thomas. She was a nursing graduate of the Saint Thomas Memorial Hospital Class of 1944. Winnie enjoyed the love and admiration of her brothers and sisters and their families, as they celebrated their milestones with brunches in the London - Saint Thomas area. She will be missed by her sisters Flossie (Ed, deceased) TRIMBLE, Marion (Bill) WHITE/WHYTE and Suzanne MILLIGAN, and her brothers, Jack (Eleanor) BLEWITT: Ted (Barbara) BLEWITT, and George (Joy, deceased) BLEWITT. Winnie's older brother Murray died as a teenager. Peacefully at home with family, on Monday, May 29, aged 85. Survived by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Ellen Jean (née GILLANDERS,) and children, Kathleen, J. Gordon and wife Vij, and Lee (Andrew) and wife Laurie, and granddaughter Megan. Loving brother of the late Doctor Frederick H. of Pennsylvania and of Elizabeth of Tucson, Arizona, and Annette PARENT of Silver City, New Mexico, and many nieces and nephews. Born on January 26, 1921, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Practised internal medicine (cardiology) at South Peel Hospital (later Mississauga and now Trillium Health Centre) for more than 40 years. Warm thanks to the Community Care Access Centre of Peel and the Hospice of Peel and the staff of ProHome Health and Spectrum Health and family members and Friends for their warm support during a difficult year. A memorial service to be held at Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church, 1338 Clarkson Road N., Mississauga L5J 2W5, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2006. Mrs. Jeannette (Jan) E. MARCOTTE, 91, widow of the late Henri J. MARCOTTE, of Moncton, New Brunswick passed away Saturday, 16 September, following a brief illness. Jeannette was the daughter of the late Doctor and Mrs. Charles E. PARENT and was pre-deceased by sister Alice and brother Eugene. "Jan" is survived by nephews Maurice and Gerard, Saskatchewan., Robert, Alberta, nieces Monique LOVATT, Nicole BAILEY and Jeannine NELSON, Saskatchewan., Godson Mark CIMON of Ontario and Godddaughter Jeannette FERNER of British Columbia and by adoptive family Ralph and Audrey McGILLIVARY, Riverview, New Brunswick. Also, special Friends from coast to coast in Canada, U.S. and Europe. "Jan", as she was known to everyone, graduated from the St. Boniface School of Nursing, Winnipeg (R.N.) and McGill University, Montreal (Dip. Public Health). She was a former Matron for Air Defence and Maritime Command during the 1950/60 period. She retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1962.
