became a high school teacher in 1961, teaching in Almonte, Germany,
Sir Wilfrid Laurier in Ottawa and, lastly, Lisgar Collegiate,
where she was an awesome Math teacher until she retired in 1978.
She was the adored backbone of our family and will be deeply
missed. A celebration of Mary's life will be held at St. Bartholomew's
Anglican Church, 125 MacKay Street, Ottawa, at 1: 00 p.m. on Friday,
October 6th. Interment at Cataraqui Cemetery, Kingston, at a
later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Central Chapel of Hulse,
Playfair and McGarry. No visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations

of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. While holding that position
he activated the Sunnybrook Foundation and led its first capital
campaign. Past National Chairman of the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires.
Past President of the Fort York Branch of The Royal Canadian
Legion. Member of the Senate of The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders
of Canada. In recent years a dedicated and proud supporter of
the interests of Veterans and advisor to Veterans Affairs Canada
awarded the Minister of Veterans Affairs Commendation. Humanist
and early promoter of diversities and equalities. Faithful parishioner
of Grace Church on-the-Hill. President and Chairman of many clubs
and organizations. Member of the Order of Canada and awarded
the Queen's Jubilee Medal. Distinguished and generous soldier
and comrade, husband, father and grandfather, lawyer and leader.
A long life, well-lived, founded on principle and service to
his country, his Regiment and the Army, his family and his many
communities, now embarking on what he called his last great adventure.
Services at Grace Church on-the-Hill at 11: 00 a.m. on Thursday,
November 2, 2006, followed by private family interment in the
family plot at Mt. Pleasant. Visitation at the Humphrey Funeral

Thunder Bay, passed away in St. Josephs Hospice after a courageous
battle against cancer due to second hand exposure to asbestos.
Her family and closest Friends surrounded her at her side. Tessa
was foremost a family person who devoted herself to her family
and Friends. While raising a family, Tessa assisted her husband,
David, in building his business. Over the years Tessa enjoyed
gardening, travel, family vacations, summer dinners on the deck
of her home, bingo and her scratch tickets. Tessa especially
loved to spend time with her children and granddaughter. Tessa
will be sadly missed by her husband of 24 years, David; sons
Colin and Christopher; daughter Kaitlin; and granddaughter Melanie
(all living in Thunder Bay). She is also survived by her brothers:

Died on Sunday, March 5, 2006 after suffering a stroke two days
prior. She was in her 88th year. Teddy survived her husband of
50 years Robert, (Bob), who died in March, 2004. He was her rock,
life partner and closest friend and she missed him dearly. Mother

BROUSE of Mississauga. "Gam" will be missed
by her grandchildren Kevin, Brian, Naomi, Geeta, Tina, Wesley
and Claire. Over half a century of life in Oakville, Teddy enjoyed
her years at The Oakville Club, dedication to The Canadian Red
Cross and her bridge partners. A special thanks to the staff
