Peacefully after a brief struggle with cancer, with his family at his side at the Humber River Regional Hospital on Friday September 22, 2006 Doug FORD in his 73rd year. Founder of Deco Labels and Tags in Rexdale. Doug was a former Member of Provincial Parliament of Etobicoke Humber from 1995-1999. Dearly beloved husband for over 50 years to Diane. Cherished father of Kathy, Randy and his wife Lisa, Doug and his wife Karla, Rob and his wife Renata. Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Michael, Krista, Kayla, Kara, Kyla, Stephanie and Madison. Dear brother of Audrey MOSLEY and Lorraine YOUNG. Doug will be sadly missed by his family and many Friends. PADDON, John William
Of Saint Thomas, on Monday, April 24, 2006, with courage and dignity, and never a single complaint, died peacefully surrounded by the ones he loved best, in his 65th year. He was a gentle and kind spirit, beloved husband of Jeanette (BEGIN) PADDON and much loved father of Michele and Lisa PADDON, both of London. Devoted son of Helen PADDON and the late Russell PADDON and dear brother of Dean PADDON and his wife Barbara of Saint Thomas and their children Pam and Susan. He will also sadly be missed by Pauline MOSS and Grant DENT. Loved and remembered by many close lifelong Friends and known fondly as "the Big Guy". John was an avid golfer, fisherman and dart player. He was born in Saint Thomas on December 1, 1941. In keeping with John's wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service. A private family service will be held. John loved all seasons, but especially the spring. It is our wish that in lieu of sending flowers to the family-please enjoy them budding, blossoming and rooted firmly in the earth as he would have. At the age of 82 of Ocala, Florida. Passed away on January 14, 2006 at Ocala Health and Rehab Center, Florida. Reverend I.G. WYNS was born in Hollnigosa, Mongolia and moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1992 where he lived for 14 years. He was also a seasonal resident of England and Canada. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church, founded Humberlea Church of God in Toronto, Canada, enjoyed writing and collecting gadgets. Reverend I.G. WYNS is predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Magdalene WYNS. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Pop served with the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa -- Machine Gunners -- 3rd Division that landed on The Beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944. He endured many hardships while fighting for his country. He was very proud to make those sacrifices for his family, his country and our freedom. A private graveside service to be held at Baird Cemetery, Brucefield, Ontario. Friends may attend a celebration of Pop's life to be held on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 1: 30 p.m. At Elim Bible Chapel, Townsend Line, Arkona. Peacefully at University Hospital, London, surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 2, 2006 Robert BAKER (Bob▲) in his 85th year. Bob is the beloved husband of the late Lillian Mae (1990). Loving Poppa to Laura and Mike, Allan, David, Nicole and Danielle and Great-Poppa to Keira Lily Mae. Special friend to Linda and Doug, Donna and Terry. Dearly missed by Margaret, Lizz, Nick and Bill. Dear father of Cheyenne MOSURINJOHN and her partner Jason WILLERT of Hensall and Greg FEAR of Exeter. Dear grandfather of Damien WILLERT.
