Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at Toronto Sunnybrook Regional Cancer Centre. My dearly loved husband, best friend and confidante and companion is now in the presence of our Lord ard Saviour Jesus Christ after a long and difficult battle with cancer. He was deeply cherished and will be greatly missed by his devoted and loving wife Marilynn, her sons Allan LOUGHEED (Kathy and Flora), Stephen LOUGHEED (Louise, William and Jeremiah,) Marjorie and Earl BRADLEY (Rocky Mountain House, Alberta,) Eleanor and Sid LONG, Bill and Debbie McDOWELL, son David MITCHENER (Jessica and Jonathan) and daughter Darlene of California, Bruce MITCHENER (Nevada,) aunts, uncles, cousins, several nieces and nephews in Canada and U.S.A., and many Friends and associates of Tyndale College, the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada and the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada for whom he edited magazines, books and manuscripts. My thanks to the wonderful nurses and doctors of Rouge Valley Centenary (Pam WEST, Marilyn MONROE, Dr. CHIAROTTO, Dr. SPODEK and Dr. TEPPERMAN), Dr. KALNINS, Dr. LOBLAW and Grace CHAN (Sunnybrook) for their excellent care and provision of a quiet place for Richard and I to spend our last days together. 2 Col. 5: 8 We are confident and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. It is with great sadness and sorrow that we, the family of Myra, announce her passing at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby, Ontario on Saturday, March 4th, 2006 as a result of a long and brave fight with cancer, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late William BEIKO. Cherished mother of son Stephen of Toronto, daughter Christine HARMON and her husband Ray of Coquitlam, British Columbia and son Allen and his wife Alison of Mississauga. He served during W.W.2, was a member of the Golden "K" Kiwanis, while in business Percy was an avid sponsor of many sports teams and also had one of the largest Sports card collections in Saint Thomas. Cherished father of Charles (Chuck) KAPLIN Jr. of Sarnia, Charlotte KAPLIN and Jeff ELLIOT/ELLIOTT of Bright's Grove, Tracey (Zig) KAPLIN and her husband Seamus of Sarnia and Lisa (Cookie) KAPLIN and Sid MITRA of London. Charlie left behind a lot of family, Friends and staff that will truly miss him. Charlie prided himself on his accomplishment owning Marcotte Disposal. He was a very kind, wise and amazingly good hearted man, who saw the positive in every situation. He would joke and tease anyone he loved. Charlie would help anyone who came to him and he would always find a spare dollar for Theresa to help all the stray animals she cared for. Passed away July 1, 2006, at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus. Peter was born 83 years ago, May 9, 1923, in Betola, Macedonia, (just north of Greece) to his late parents Velika (MITSOVICH) and John PAISIOVICH. Peter is predeceased by his wife Catherine Mary (DESAULNIER) as well as a daughter Donna Jean. Surviving are his children Mary Judith SHILLINGTON, Alex PAISIOVICH, Pando Peter Jr. PAISIOVICH, George Perry PAISIOVICH and Cheryl Ann ROSE. Peter is predeceased by a sister Bonnie and by brothers Mike and Alex. A former Blenheim "Citizen of the Year", Peter was also an active member of Kent Lodge No. 274 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons and was originally a member of Victory Lodge in Chatham, Scottish Rite, Rose Croix, the Blenheim Shrine Club, Past Master of the Royal Arch in Blenheim, Past Patron of the Eastern Star Blenheim, Past Watchman o'Shepherds of the White Shrine, Past member of the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority, Kent County Tourist Association, former owner of the old Del Mar Restaurant, Past Director of the St. Clair Development Council, Co-founder of Uncle Tom's Cabin museum, Past President of the Blenheim and District Chamber of Commerce, Past Reeve for the Town of Blenheim, President of the Number 3 Highway Association (later re-named the Talbot Trail), Past President of the Chatham Restaurant Association, President of Del Mar Foods Ltd., Past President of the Progressive Conservative Association for the riding of Kent-Elgin, Past Director of the Kent County Children's Aid Society, Past Chairman of the Talbot Trail Association, Past President of the Essex-Kent Federal Conservative Party and Charter President of the Blenheim Historical Society. Discovered body was missing man

Collingwood - Collingwood Ontario Provincial Police confirm the body found near the shoreline of Nottawasaga Bay recently was that of Jason Robert MITTS, who went missing May 13. The 28-year-old walked away from a party in the area of Highway 26 and Fairgrounds Road in Collingwood at midnight.
Police began a search for him the following Wednesday afternoon, with help from the Ontario Provincial Police's Emergency Response Team team, a canine unit and helicopter. Although foul play is not suspected, police say every death is treated as suspicious until proven otherwise. The Collingwood Ontario Provincial Police is continuing their investigation. Police are asking anyone who may have seen MITTS or had contact with him between May 13 and 19 to contact them at 1-519-445-4321.
