Beloved wife of the late William BEIKO. Cherished mother of son Stephen of Toronto, daughter Christine HARMON and her husband Ray of Coquitlam, British Columbia and son Allen and his wife Alison of Mississauga. Peter was born 83 years ago, May 9, 1923, in Betola, Macedonia, (just north of Greece) to his late parents Velika (MITSOVICH) and John PAISIOVICH. Peter is predeceased by his wife Catherine Mary (DESAULNIER) as well as a daughter Donna Jean. Surviving are his children Mary Judith SHILLINGTON, Alex PAISIOVICH, Pando Peter Jr. PAISIOVICH, George Perry PAISIOVICH and Cheryl Ann ROSE. Peter is predeceased by a sister Bonnie and by brothers Mike and Alex. A former Blenheim "Citizen of the Year", Peter was also an active member of Kent Lodge No. 274 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons and was originally a member of Victory Lodge in Chatham, Scottish Rite, Rose Croix, the Blenheim Shrine Club, Past Master of the Royal Arch in Blenheim, Past Patron of the Eastern Star Blenheim, Past Watchman o'Shepherds of the White Shrine, Past member of the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority, Kent County Tourist Association, former owner of the old Del Mar Restaurant, Past Director of the St. Clair Development Council, Co-founder of Uncle Tom's Cabin museum, Past President of the Blenheim and District Chamber of Commerce, Past Reeve for the Town of Blenheim, President of the Number 3 Highway Association (later re-named the Talbot Trail), Past President of the Chatham Restaurant Association, President of Del Mar Foods Ltd., Past President of the Progressive Conservative Association for the riding of Kent-Elgin, Past Director of the Kent County Children's Aid Society, Past Chairman of the Talbot Trail Association, Past President of the Essex-Kent Federal Conservative Party and Charter President of the Blenheim Historical Society. Discovered body was missing man

Collingwood - Collingwood Ontario Provincial Police confirm the body found near the shoreline of Nottawasaga Bay recently was that of Jason Robert MITTS, who went missing May 13. The 28-year-old walked away from a party in the area of Highway 26 and Fairgrounds Road in Collingwood at midnight.
Police began a search for him the following Wednesday afternoon, with help from the Ontario Provincial Police's Emergency Response Team team, a canine unit and helicopter. Although foul play is not suspected, police say every death is treated as suspicious until proven otherwise. The Collingwood Ontario Provincial Police is continuing their investigation. Police are asking anyone who may have seen MITTS or had contact with him between May 13 and 19 to contact them at 1-519-445-4321.
