World War 2 veteran, an amputee who served and was wounded in
Europe. He was a retiree of Canadian Arsenals, and a long-time
resident of Etobicoke-Lakeshore. He enjoyed golf until his recent
illnesses but remained an avid hockey fan. The Family wishes
to thank the medical staff at Norfolk-Haldimand Hospital for
their care and kindness. At his request there will be no funeral
service for Bill and he will be cremated.

Conceived in Scotland, and born in Toronto; attended Sunfish
Young Men's Christian Association Camp, Innisfil, 1936 to 1941
where he met the love of his life Miss Vera
SIVELL.
Attended
Danforth Technical School completing grade 13 early to enter
the Royal Canadian Air Force. Served in the Royal Air Force 1942 to
1945, stationed at Gravely, England, where he flew 49 missions
over enemy territory, in the Canadian built Mosquito. His wartime
valour was recognized by Governor General Vincent Massey in the
awarding of the Distinguished Flying Cross. Jim proudly married
Vera on October 23rd, 1946. Jim's entrepreneurialism began in
1946 with the creation of C and M Lighting which he sold in 1949 to
begin his career with General Motors and the automotive industry
which lasted to his death. Jim purchased Georgian Pontiac Buick
in Barrie with his family on September 22nd, 1981. Jim dedicated
many volunteer hours within the community most recently as Honorary
Chairman Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal. For the last 10 years
of his life, J.C. was an integral part of the Barrie Colts Hockey
Team, showing tireless involvement as the Managing Director and
#1 Fan of the team and players. Passed away after a brief but
courageous battle following complications from surgery at the
Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Tuesday, September 19th,
2006. Jim MASSIE, in his 83rd year, of Barrie. Cherished husband

Patricia graduated as a Registered
Nurse from the Mack Training School for Nurses (St. Catharines)
class of 1955. A private family service has taken place. She
donated her body to medical research at the Faculty of Medicine,
University of Toronto. In accordance with her wishes there will
not be any visitation. The funeral service will be the appropriate
(most likely in 2007) annual ecumenical interment service held
in June by the University of Toronto at the Church of Saint_James-the-less
(adjoining Saint_James' Cemetery and Crematorium, 635 Parliament
Street, Toronto). Persons wishing to attend the service should contact
a family member in May 2007. Friends and relatives are invited
to a reception at 178 St. David's Road, St. Catharines on Sunday
June 4 from 1: 00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. as a celebration of Patricia's

piano playing, Peggy passed away peacefully, at home, on January
5, 2006, at the age of 79, at Salt Spring Island, British Columbia.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 59 years, James A. (Bert)
SMALL, and her elder sister Frances
MASTERS of Toronto. She is
also survived by children Janet, Judy, James Jr. and Jeffrey
grandchildren Jason, Aaron, Carole and Jenna; great-grandchildren
Michael, Andrew, Jack, Lia, Heather, Faith, Will, Naomi, and
Joy. Peggy was born in Toronto on May 1, 1926. She also had two
older brothers, the late Douglas and Donald. Peggy joined the
Royal Canadian Air Force for service in World War 2. Her music
was inspirational. She played for various bands and seniors'
groups. Her lovingly made folk art and quilts will be treasured
by family members. To family, her door was always open and her
life mission was "making things easier for everyone else around
her". We knew her as Peg, Peggy, Mom, Granny, Grandma, G.G.,
and Great-Granny, and she will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers,

Friends. Antonietta and Antonio were married for 44 years. Friends
