Loving father of Robyn and her husband Stephen LYN. Cherished grandfather of Kevin and Ethan. Dear son of Angela and the late Ronald DE BARTOK. Brother of Bob, Alex, Elly and Jack. Predeceased by his brother Ernie. Ron is fondly remembered by the DE BARTOK and Greenwood families. Bill was born in Chicago on February 25, 1927, the son of the late Charles and Rosannie (GLENN) FERGUSON. He resided in the Union, Port Stanley and Saint Thomas areas most of his life. Bill was a retired sales tax auditor with the Provincial Government. He was a member of Saint Mark's Lodge #94 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, Port Stanley, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. London Lodge of Perfection, London Chapter Rose Croix, Moore Sovereign Consistory, Hamilton 32nd degree, the Provost Corps. and was a Jester. He had played baseball, fastball and hockey and coached minor sports a number of years. Bill was a Past President of the Saint Thomas Curling Club, past member of the Saint Thomas Golf Club and the Belmont Golf Club. Wayne FURLONG and their three children, Wayne MORGAN, Lianne Barbara, and Ian William KENT survive and mourn the loss of a beloved mother and grandmother and great-grandmother. Predeceased by her parents, William H. and Mary E. LINDENMAN, her brother William Stewart LINDENMAN, and a chosen sister, Mrs. Margaret STADDON, two nieces, Mrs. Wm. GREGORY, Dorothy Marion Steuart
In her 89th year Dorothy's spirit flew away on Sunday February 19, 2006 at 11: 55 p.m. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) GREGORY, Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Geri LYNCH (Bill,) Cathie RUSSO (Joe) and Ruth GREGORY; grandchildren, Sean (Margot) and Kristy LYNCH, Robin and Mairen KOPS, Brent and Geoffrey PATERSON, Jennifer (Ted) STACEY and John and Nick RUSSO; great- granchildren: Maya LYNCH, Monet KOPS and Elizabeth STACEY. Dorothy spent her retirement years living in the house that Jack built in Victor Beach, Manitoba. She chose to move to Collingwood, Ontario to reside in Bayhaven Care Centre to be near her daughter Geri. Dorothy had a full life, born in Teddington, England but living most of her life in Winnipeg. She was daughter of Doctor Gerald SHAW and Ethel WILLIAMS, predeceased by her brother Al WILLIAMS of Calgary. Bette WILLIAMS, brother Gerald (Margaret) WILLIAMS of Vancouver and their respective families remain. Dorothy graduated from Rupertsland College, and after completing her training worked at the Winnipeg Clinic as an Orthoptist. She served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the war in the Opthalmic Section of the Medical Unit, discharged in 1944. She met and married Jack GREGORY, an Australian serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force and briefly stationed in Manitoba during the war. Dorothy believed in volunteerism and throughout her life she was active with the Girl Guides of Canada, the Innerwheel of the Rotary Club, the St. Agnes Guild of the Children's Hospital, and coordinated the annual Children's Hospital Book Market. In mid life Dorothy discovered yoga and became a teacher, thereafter supporting community by teaching yoga and meditation. She taught at the Senior Scene in Victoria Beach into her 80's. A memorial service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held at Saint Michael's Church in Victoria Beach, Friday, June 16 at 2: 00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation, CE 501-840 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3A 1S1

Peacefully, on February 12th at Sunnybrook Hospital after suffering a stroke. For many years the beloved friend of Kenneth GISBORNE, and deeply mourned by Michael GISBORNE and Carole LYNCH. Survived by her sister Mary BONNER, brother James BOLGER and by her nieces Patricia, Lorraine and Susan. Born in Toronto, she lived her entire lifespan in this city. A kind and gentle lady she will be sadly missed. At her request cremation has been carried out, without visitation or services.

With sadness and regret the Partington family reports that on Friday, March 3 Kevin died suddenly in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. An avid traveller, he was about to take a cruise to Costa Rica and Panama. A longtime social worker with the former North York Board of Education until 1999, when he took early retirement, during the last few years he had turned to background performing, appearing most recently in the movie Cinderella Man. Kevin was a unique individual who touched many people's lives with his no-nonsense approach to work, his zest for living, and his boisterous sense of humour. Quietly at home, on June 16, 2006, in his 87th year, while watching the U.S. Open. Beloved husband and life partner of the late Margery Howe SUNDSTROM. Dear brother of Ruth Sundstrom CANDY. Dearest father of Robin SUNDSTROM, Laurel HIGGON, Martha LYNCH, and Penny McLAREN, and cherished father-in-law of Daniel MOTHERSILL, David HIGGON, Barry LYNCH, and Murray McLAREN. Loving grandfather of Barton and Victoria MOTHERSILL, Julia and Stuart LYNCH, and Lindsay McLAREN. Dearest "Uncle Sonny" of Pat JERRED and Susan FREEMAN. Hal was a student at Vaughan Road Collegiate, and a proud old boy of Upper Canada College. Following service in Iceland with the Royal Canadian Air Force, Sonny entered University of Toronto and was a member of the first graduating class of U of T's School of Architecture. He loved buildings and boats, drawing and debate, jazz and playing piano, golf and the cryptic crossword. He was known to all his children's Friends for sleeping in the living room and tap dancing in the kitchen, and was waiting for Carnegie Hall to call about his debut. Hal was a life member of the National Yacht Club, and a founding member of the Group of Twenty and Studio 67. Hal will be deeply missed by family and Friends. Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, February 16, 2006 in his 92nd year. son of the late Thomas LYNCH and Hannah O'LEARY. Predeceased by his sisters Julia (Mrs. James DINNER), Mary (Mrs. Vincent O'TOOLE), Kathleen (Reverend Sister Rosamond), Ella (Mrs. James LYNETT), Anna (Mrs. Leigh HUNT), Josephine (Mrs. Cyril COUGHLIN,) and by his brothers Frank, and Reverend Patrick J. LYNCH. He will be sadly missed by his many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Father LYNCH attended St. Joseph's School, Otonabee, St. Peter's High School, and St. Augustine's Seminary in Toronto where he was ordained priest on May 30th, 1942. He celebrated his first mass at Sacred Heart Church, Peterborough, assisted by his brother, Reverend Patrick LYNCH, and his uncles, Reverend Dean O'LEARY of Saskatoon, and Reverend Dean M.J. O'LEARY of Bracebridge. Father LYNCH served in several parishes throughout the Peterborough Diocese as well as serving as Chaplain in the Royal Canadian Air Force He has resided in Rubidge Hall the last few years of his retirement. Father LYNCH will Lie-in-State in the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains, Peterborough, on Sunday from 2: 00-8:00 p.m. (Office of the Dead 7:00 p.m.) Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Cathedral on Monday, February 20, 2006 at 1: 30 p.m. Reverend Joseph MORAN officiating, concelebrated by his brother Priests of the Peterborough Diocese.
