Peacefully, Saturday, September 9, 2006, at Ian Anderson House, Oakville, in her 75th year. She said, "I have no regrets. I did and saw everything I wanted." Her grace and humour enriched everyone who came in contact with her, especially best friend Lou BOURGEOIS, son Scott LINDSTOL (Karen,) daughter Karina, brother John (Ina) of Glasgow, sister Lilian (Abdu) of London, England, grand_son Erik (Jessica), granddaughter Kirsten, and much loved nieces and nephews. Her recently finished memoirs speak of her indomitable spirit - a wet 70 mile bike ride through Scotland as a nine year old! - driving her BSA to a forestry job - two years in near isolation on a Norwegian farm - a journey from Moscow to Hong Kong with her sister. Emigrating to Canada in 1956 with husband Anders LINDSTOL she worked as a model, secretary, real estate agent and store owner (showcasing her artistic talent). The family is grateful for the support and compassion of medical staff and Friends. At Elspeth's request, there will not be a funeral service. To celebrate her life, Friends are invited to gather Sunday, October 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Bronte Room of The Lighthouse, Ontario Street, Oakville (Bronte). In his 74th year, slipped away to meet his maker on April 3, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his mother Isobel Reid Hall LINESS, in 1974 and his father Edward (Scotty) Liness in 1975. Jim is survived by his brother Ian John LINESS of Bridgenorth, his sister Christine LINESS- MURCHISON of Peterborough, and his dear friend, caregiver and long time companion, Lydia WISSEKERKE of North York (Toronto.) He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Donna TUGWOOD (Bob) of Bowmanville, Leslee HUDDLESTONE of Peterborough, Scott MURCHISON (Vicki) of Courtice, and great-nieces Holly, Brooke, Tara, Jill, Breanne and Nicholas, a brand new great-nephew. Also will be sadly missed by his doctor, friend and baseball buddy, Tom BACHER. Jim, a sportsman and a gentleman, and a great teacher of sports was affiliated with pro and semi-pro baseball in the Toronto area for many years as a player, coach and manager. He also was affiliated with the Harness Racing Association, owning, training and driving in Toronto, Barrie, Peterborough, Orangeville and in the States until a training accident cut his career short. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 8th at 11: 00 a.m. in the Carfrae Chapel of the Mount Pleasant Mausoleum and Cemetery, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, (enter the Yonge or Mt. Passed away suddenly of heart failure at his residence in Toronto on March 19, 2006, age 64 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Heather (née LING) and proud and loving father of Craig, Elissa (Josh RANDELL) and Kate. He is survived in British Columbia by his brother Brett (Carol Ann GLOVER) and sisters Fawn (Jim) KNOX and Vicki (Doug) McKEE. Also survived in Prince Edward Island by his mother-in-law Dorothy (Baker LING) ROPER, brother-in-law Dr. Don (Mary K) LING and sister-in-law Karen (Lornie) WOOD. Graduate of University of British Columbia (B.A.) and Carleton (M.A. Canadian Studies.) A job at TVOntario in 1972 began his long-standing involvement in the Canadian television industry, primarily with his own company, Ironstar Communications. Upon retiring, Derek fulfilled the dream of a family trip to Africa and a successful assault of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Well known as a "people person", he will be greatly missed as a warm and loving family-man, a true friend, a respected businessman, an exceptional athlete, a fount of historical and geographical knowledge, and with a fondness for things Scottish, especially celebrating in the tradition of Robbie Burns. It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Barbara LANGHORNE age 80 on Friday, March 10th, 2006 at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of Bill LANGHORNE (deceased.) Loving mother of Geoff LANGHORNE, Clay LANGHORNE and his partner Judy, Matthew LANGHORNE, and Pamela Langhorne KOVAC and fiancé Reg TITIAN. Predeceased by her parents John and Charlotte, sister Alberta and brothers Hugh and John (Jack) SYME. Dearly loved sister of Mary Syme LINHOLM and Doctor Paul SYME. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Francis and Evelyn SYME, and brother-in-law Sven LINHOLM. Cherished grandmother to Chris KOVAC and his wife Darcy and Tyler KOVAC and his wife Holly. Dear great-grandmother to Benjamin, Mikaela and Poppy KOVAC. Barbara will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and Friends including the many music makers teachers who taught for her over the years. Barbara began teaching piano in 1940 and after establishing the Music Makers in 1967 she directed and taught for thirty-seven years. She was a dedicated teacher of young children first and foremost, who wrote and arranged much of the Music Makers material. For three generations, thousands of children had their musical lives nurtured and encouraged by Barbara. At 14 she won the gold medal in the open age Bach competition sponsored by Western University, and was awarded a scholarship to Michigan State University. At age 15 Barbara obtained her associate degree from the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto. She continued with 10 years of post-graduate studies on scholarship with B. Hayunga Carmen of the Leschetizsky School and obtained her B.A. from McMaster University. Barbara volunteered at the Mayfield School and was a member of the Zonta Service Club. She was also Chairman of the President's Advisory Council on Children's Music at Humber College. Funeral Services will be held at Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home at 2241 New Street (at Drury Lane) in Burlington on Friday March 17th at 1 p.m. Visitations are on Wednesday March 15th and Thursday March 16th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

82 years, peacefully, after a short illness on November 20th, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Frederick BEAUMONT (1974.) Sister of Margaret WINTEMUTE and husband Albert of Niagara Falls. Catherine is the loving mother of Anne COCHRANE and husband Stephen of Strathroy and Peter BEAUMONT and wife Kathy of London. Catherine will be missed by her grandchildren Allison COCHRANE, Karen (Tyler) STANFIELD, Lindsay (Carl) LINKER and Scott BEAUMONT. She also has 5 great-grandchildren, Anika and Aria ATKINSON, Riley and Christian STANFIELD and Owen LINKER. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Catherine was born in Barrie, Ontario but lived most of her adult life in London, Ontario. She worked at London Health Sciences Centre for 30 years, 15 in the Admission Department and 15 as a volunteer. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff on the A.C.E. and Palliative Care Units of Victoria for their wonderful care during Catherine's final journey. There will be no visitation. Frankenmuth, Michigan. Passed away Sunday, November 12, 2006, at Select Specialty Hospital after an illness. Age 82 years. Jim was born November 18, 1923. He was married to Anne McNAUGHTON, of London Township, Ontario, on May 8, 1948. She survives him. He was a World War 2 veteran. He was employed by GM until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of Frankenmuth United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 150 and the 82nd Airborne Division Association. Surviving besides his wife Anne are 2 daughters Ellen WOLKENSPERG of Lansing, Michigan, Laurie (Don) LINKERT of Midland, Michigan, 1 son Jim (Nancy) ALLARDYCE of Grandville, Michigan. Six grandchildren Jim and Dave WOLKENSPERG, Katie LINKERT, and Natalie, James and Jeffrey ALLARDYCE. Two brothers, Donald (Sue) of Escanaba, and Gordon (Carol) of Orchard Lake and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will take place Wednesday, November 15, 2006, at noon at Frankenmuth United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Eardley will officiate. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 16, in Medway Cemetery, Ilderton, Ontario.
