Her smiling face, wonderful sense of humour, and eternal optimism will be greatly missed by her beloved husband and best friend Murdo, her devoted children Donald (deceased August 2004) and wife Sandra▼ (née DYE,) Marleen▼ and husband Bill KEENAN, Lari-Ann and husband Mark CONVERY, Nancy▼ and boyfriend Wayne WATERMAN, Michael and wife Martine. Affectionately known as "Danny" by her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her devotion and her playfulness by Dianne, Patty, Richard, Lee, Lorelle, Callan, William and Emilie Dorothy and her great-grandchildren Isaac and Oliver. Dorothy also leaves 4 brothers, 5 sisters (predeceased by Doris July 1996), many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Dorothy made Friends easily and kept them for a long time and will be sorely missed by them all. She spent over 30 years in real estate where she gained the respect and loyalty of her clients and colleagues. She volunteered for the Catholic Women's League at St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church, where she was a devoted parishioner. She participated in cancer support groups and was always available to provide love and support to those in need. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our Dad, Gramps, Uncle and Friend. Back yard ball games, ice rinks, road hockey games, bike rides, walks, pennant races and famous quotes will be remembered and greatly missed by his loving family and Friends of all ages. Predeceased by his wife Patricia, three brothers and three sisters. Dick will be missed by his three children (Sean, Nancy and Kathleen) and their spouses and his ever amused and devoted grandchildren (Matthew, Conor, Sam, Nick, Emily, Shannon and Leah). A special thank you to Mary, Paddy and Ryan. Your visits were a life line. Friends will be received at the Patrick J. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John CARDARELLI, M.D. (F.R.C.S.C,) following a long and courageous struggle with Parkinson's disease, helped by his beloved son David. Survived by his loving wife Kay (née KEENAN,) children Dr. Ian Paul (Martine) of Padova, David KEENAN and Jane Elizabeth DEVINE (David,) and his precious granddaughter Francesca DEVINE. John is also survived by his sisters Nida and Giga in Rome, brother Renzo in Barrie, and predeceased by his brother Mario. John was an honourable and humble man, devoted to his family, and always caring for his patients in his many years of ophthalmic practice. There will be a private cremation, and interment arrangements have been made according to John's wishes. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in John's memory to either Sick Children's Hospital or the Parkinson's Society would be greatly appreciated.

Suddenly on Tuesday, January 10, 2006, of a heart attack. Survived by Carmel, his devoted wife of almost 40 years, whom he loved and was loved by, and four sons, Patrick, Sean (Marcey), Fr. Owen Jr., and Kieran, to whom he was devoted and by whom he was loved and admired. He leaves 3 brothers and 2 sisters and their families in Ireland and Scotland. In all things, whether as husband, father, friend, worker or acquaintance, Owen was first and foremost a man of faith: faith in God and in His Church. This faith in God is now rewarded, and it is this faith which he so well demonstrated and so faithfully handed on to us which is our strength. Visitation on Thursday 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, July 12th, 2006, Samuel "Ted" GREAVES of Caradoc Township at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Agnes for 66 years. Loving father of Marie (Bill) CARRUTHERS of London, Terry (Nancy) of Ridgetown, and Ted (Jane) of Mount Brydges. Ted was born in Dunley, England on June 6th, 1915 and is predeceased by his parents George GREAVES and Bessie HICKMAN. He is survived by brothers Roland and Harold of England. Predeceased by his sister Elsie and brothers William, Stanley, and George. Grandfather to Brenda (Jeff) Scott, Kevin SMALL, Alan (Tina) SMALL, Dennis (Margaret) SMALL, Michael (Noreen) SMALL, Bonnie (John) GETTY, Geoffrey GREAVES, Ted GREAVES Jr., Paul GREAVES, and Jillian GREAVES. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Ted was a Barnardo Homeboy. He arrived in Canada at the age of 12, and spent the rest of his life on the farm which he came to work on. He was a major player in the film about the Home Children "Nobody's Child". Jiggs was a Veteran of the Korean War. Loving husband of Annette (NADJIWAN.) Cherished and loved father of Daniel, of Cape Croker; Kelly (Larry WHITEDUCK,) of Aylmer, Quebec; and Lori (Howard MARTIN,) of Ottawa. Papa of Kayla, Echo, Lacey, Rae-anna, Jessica, Brendan, and James. Survived by sisters Debbie (Frank JETTÉ,) of Ottawa; Julie (Joe DAMM,) of Long Sault; and Sandra (Ken LEE,) of Owen Sound. Brother-in-law of Vera KUKTHA, of Welland; Dorothy (Ross JOHNSTON) and Ernest NADJIWAN (Lillian,) both of Cape Croker. Sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and Friends. Predeceased by his beloved parents Sylvester KEESHIG and Irene and Joe AKIWENZIE, and sister Lorene AKIWENZIE. Friends may call at the Thomas C. Passed away peacefully on March 14, 2006 at the Versa Care Centre in Uxbridge, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Bonnie for 52 years. Dear father of Joseph (Deborah,) and Nancy SANGUINETTI. Proud grandfather of Chad and Abby YAKELEY, Nicholas and Julianna SANGUINETTI. Survived by his brothers Delbert, Garnet and sisters Ruby MILLER, Beatrice JAMES, Betty WINTERSTEIN, Marion YAKELEY and Marjorie KEETCH. Predeceased by his brothers Bill, Oliver and Ernest.
