It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Kay at the Grey Bruce Health Services Markdale. Beloved wife of Matt HUNTER for 63 years. Loving and loved mother of Dennis of Wilcox Lake, Diane HUNTER of Hamilton, John (Sharon) of Kitchener and Bob (Wendy) of Hamilton. Grandmother to Joel, Andrew, Maft and Mike. Predeceased by her parents John and Maria KENNEDY, brothers Jim and Goldie (both Veterans of World War 2), brothers-in-law Harvey and Tom HUNTER, sisters-in-law Irene and Ron HILLER and Ruby and Charles WEINER. Survived by her sisters-in-law Viola (Bob) MARTIN of Shelburne, Betty KENNEDY of Toronto and her little Buddy "Benji". Mom was a feisty Scot who dearly loved her family. We will always remember her wonderful sense of humour, singing, winter camp fires, tea and cookies after school, fishing, tobogganing, skiing and Hallowe'en. We will miss you more than anyone knows. We who love you will never forget. We now have another guardian angel watching over us. "Up your kilt, Katie". The family received Friends at the Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton on Thursday October 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services were held in the funeral home chapel on Friday October 6 at 11 a.m. Interment McNeil Cemetery, Priceville. With deep sadness the family of Lloyd Gordon GRAHAM announce his passing at Parkwood Hospital on Friday, July 13, 2006. Beloved husband of Margaret (HUNTER) GRAHAM. Dearly loved father of son, Paul GRAHAM and wife Bonnie, daughter Mary COLE and husband Lloyd COLE. Loved and cherished by granddaughters, Lindsay and Paula COLE and grand_son Gregory Graham COLE. Predeceased by his sister Pauline. Lloyd leaves one sister, Gladys CAMPBELL, Delhi and a brother Jack GRAHAM and his wife Dora of Michigan, a sister-in-law Edna McLEAN of London. Also many nieces and nephews. He spent four years overseas in World War 2 with the second Armoured Tank Division with the Sherbrooke Fusiliers. He was in partnership operating Nilestown Motor Sales until 1961. He then taught at East Elgin Secondary School until retirement and belongs to the R.T.O. District #41. He has a life membership in the Masonic Lodge, Branch #247. He also has memberships with the Donnybrook Legion Branch #513, Dorchester, and the Lions Senior Centre, Dorchester. The family will receive Friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London, for visitation on Sunday July 16, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 11 a.m. A private Interment will be held at Rodney Cemetery July 17. On October 9th 2006 at Caressant Care in Woodstock Ontario. Predeceased in 1998 by beloved husband Joe. Much loved mother of Jane and Joe (Maria). Survived and cherished by her dear sister Barbara (Jack KNECHTEL,) her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and her nephews and nieces and their families. Also predeceased by her brother William HUNTER and his wife Jeanette, and very recently by her younger brother James HUNTER (Dorothy.) Norah will be missed by Friends all over southern Ontario who will remember her for her tales of living in Ireland as a child, stories that began "When I was in the army…" and her gratitude for every attention. FORSYTH (1971.) Dearly loved mother of Betty Lou DONALDSON and her husband Bert of Saint Thomas. Cherished grandmother of Brent DONALDSON and his wife Charlena, and Bryan DONALDSON and his wife Lorri, and loved great-grandmother of Samantha, Brock and Grace DONALDSON, all of Saint Thomas. Also fondly remembered by a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the last surviving member of her own immediate family, having been predeceased by a sister, Florence JONES and three brothers, Lewis, George A. and Samuel W. HUNTER. Woman dies, child spared

A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a woman yesterday morning at Thirteen Mile and Wonderland roads. (Mike HENSEN, London Free Press)
Birr -- A London-area woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash near here yesterday that also affected a three-year-old girl.
Barbara WICKERSON, 73, was driving east along Thirteen Mile Road at 10 a.m. when her eastbound sport utility vehicle collided at Wonderland Road with a minivan heading south, Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police said.
An autopsy today will examine if medical factors may have contributed to the death of the Middlesex Centre woman, officers said at the scene, about seven kilometres north of London.
Her injuries, they noted, didn't appear severe enough to have been fatal.
Three generations of the same family were in the minivan, including Nikaia SIRE- RODRIGUES, 3, of Toronto. Her mother, Marcie SIRE, 30, and grandmother, Harolyn SIRE, 59, of Lucan, were hurt.
The toddler was properly strapped into a car seat and that likely saved her from injury, Ontario Provincial Police Const. Chris HUNTER said. "It's just great to see the compliance from parents" to the provincial car seat laws."
Long stretches of road around the rural intersection were closed for hours yesterday as Ontario Provincial Police investigators examined the scene.
The minivan, which had been heading south toward London, came to rest several metres from the road in an open field. The sport utility vehicle, with major front-left damage, ended up nearby.
No charges will be laid, Const. Doug GRAHAM said.

Gordon passed away unexpectedly but peacefully while napping in a little stone cottage in beautiful rural Ireland, a land he truly loved, on his septuagenarian elopement and honeymoon vacation with his new bride, Marilyn WEIR. Tragically, Marilyn has had their happiness together cut far too short. Gordon never wasted any time - he knew there might not be a tomorrow and lived each and every day with gusto. Great friend, mentor and presence to so many. Larger than life character with an intellect, enthusiasm and energy that touched a broad spectrum of people in many ways. Missed by a host including the children he loved; Storey, Matthew, Lawrie and Gregg; their mothers Marilyn (McFATRIDGE) and Heather (JACKSON;) grandchildren Hartley and Spencer VIBERT and Will and Sydney BADGER; and in-laws Matthew VIBERT and Kate HUNTER- BADGER. Pre-deceased by his loving daughter Martha, wife of many years Vicky (MacCAUSLAND,) sister Donna Marie ABERLE and parents Donald and Edith BADGER. Born in Cayuga, Ontario May 8, 1936. Chartered Accountant (Clarkson and Gordon) and entrepreneur extraordinaire, 'Badge' had a colorful career that included the founding of Homemakers Digest and most recently real estate development in Florida, with countless adventures in between. He never stopped and was enjoying some of his best successes recently. Gordon had a wonderful ability to embrace life and enjoy it thoroughly. He did so in the comfort of his home in Creemore Ontario where he weighed in generously and meaningfully on community issues; recently in Melbourne, Florida where he was doing business with the enthusiasm of a youngster; in the Domincan Republic where he also made a home and embraced the people there who loved and respected him and to whom he showed the generosity of a true Santa Claus; and the cottage where he perhaps enjoyed life with family and Friends most on Playfair Island, Lake Joseph. He created an environment there that became the foundation for the family. With all of this in his life, and the prospect of sharing it in his sunset years with his new love, he died truly happy. He was a wonderfully unique character, a raconteur who entertained and delighted all. He has left us alone, and we will grieve, but his spirit will remain in our hearts forever. A service will be held for Friends and family at Bloor Street United Church, 300 Bloor St. West, Toronto on Monday, May 8, 2006 (his 70th birthday) at 4: 30 p.m. More importantly, the major celebration of his life that he directed include martinis and good wine will take place at the Badger Hill farm near Creemore on Saturday, June 24 with tee-offs for those who wish to golf on Badger Downs starting at 2 p.m. Friends should please mark you calendars for then and let a family member know if you need directions or help with accommodation. Born on February 9, 1946 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, he spent his formative years in England before returning to Canada in 1973. Peacefully at Cedarcroft Place, Stratford, Ontario, Doreen (nee HUNTER) BROWN, formerly of Agincourt, Ontario, died after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, February 10, 2006, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth BROWN. Much loved by daughter Cynthia CARLSON, grandchildren Andrea, Megan and Jeff and their father, Dr. Malcolm CARLSON of Stratford. Sadly missed by son David BROWN, his wife Arlene and grandchildren Ryan, Jackie and Taylor of Ottawa. Cherished deeply by daughter Carol Ann WHITNEY and grandchildren Jake and Sammy of Stratford. As a teacher librarian with the Scarborough Board of Education for many years, Doreen instilled her love of literacy to countless children. She was a dedicated member of Knox United Church (Agincourt) and served as United Church Women President for numerous years. Doreen was an active member of Philanthropic and Educational Organization, her Bible Study Group and loved her weekly bridge games. She will be sadly missed by her family, relatives and Friends and will always be remembered for her giving spirit. She was a prior manager of Vic Tanney's Health Clubs whose numerous members and prior staff kept in touch with her throughout the years. She cared for people. She always found time to listen to their problems and helped any way she could. Her family was the most important part of her life. She cared and loved us. Her regrets are not being able to enjoy the Young and the Restless, tennis, baseball and most importantly music which she loved - R and B, jazz and classical. Bryony "Bry" HUNTER passed away April 8, 2006 at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, at the age of 58. She will be dearly missed by her mother Loraine HUNTER of Georgetown, her brother and sister-in-law Ian and Shirley HUNTER of Oshawa, three nieces Jennifer HUNTER of Toronto, Stephanie NOLAN (Anthony) of Courtice, and Chandra BRIGGS (Ryan) of Kitchener, and a dear friend Lilly YOUNG (Derryl) of Calgary and other relatives and Friends. Bry was predeceased by her father George HUNTER in 1999. Bry was born in Lachine, Québec, lived in the Toronto area for many years and moved to Calgary in 1978. Bry loved animals and had a special fondness for dogs, cats and horses. She was proud of her ribbon winning Shelty, Katti, as well as her pedigreed horses. Bry was employed with the National Bank of Canada, formerly The Mercantile Bank of Canada, for 34 years where she was a valued employee and had many dear Friends. Memorial service will held at J.S. Born November 11, 1911, in Huntington, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Passed away, November 8, 2006 at Saint Michael's Hospice, in Burnaby, British Columbia with his daughters at his side. Predeceased, by his beloved wife, of over 63 years, Helen, in 2005; his cherished only son, Charles William, in 1988; his sister Velma and his niece Carol. Left to mourn are his daughters, Nancy Jean of Steveston, and Jacquie (Wally MALINOWSKI) of Vancouver his daughter-in-law Shirley, of Mississauga; his grandchildren: John HUNTINGTON, and Elizabeth (Mark RATCLIFFE;) Geoffrey THIESSEN Alexis and Jay MALINOWSKI; and his very special great-grand_son Charles William (Liam) RATCLIFFE. John was born by the sea and loved it all his life, despite spending over 50 years as an 'inlander' in Toronto. There, he raised his family and was a charter member of the Toronto East Rotary Club. After Helen's death, he moved to Tsawwassen to be closer to family, and once again resided by the sea. The last year of his life presented many challenges, which he faced with his usual determination, and stoicism, never letting the negative overwhelm the positive. Our heartfelt thanks go to the caring and compassionate staff at Saint Michael's Hospice. You are truly angels of mercy. Expressions of sympathy may be made by donations to Saint Michael's Hospice, the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. His ashes will be scattered on the Mira shore, which he so loved. There will be no service by request.
