Sound he worked for McArthur and Reilly for 12 years. After he
retired he continued to help his dear friend Effie

HEMSTOCK in her drapery business. Harvey loved to play and repair
violins. He was the oldest current member of the Merry Music
Makers. He was blessed to have many neighbours, Friends and family
watching over him. He will be missed. Friends are invited to
the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Wednesday, December 20,
2006 from 12 noon until service time. The funeral service will
be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2006, at the
age of 95, after a long life brimming with love and laughter.
Kathleen was born November 6, 1910 near Little Rapids, Ontario,
and spent a happy childhood on the family homestead outside of
Thessalon and
in Owen Sound. She moved to Toronto during the
Depression, and she and her husband William settled in Weston,
where Kathleen created a home filled with love for their sons.
She worked tirelessly and with quiet determination to provide
her beloved boys with every possible opportunity in life. After
a fulfilling career at Weston Public Library, Kathleen retired
to Midland, where she nurtured a beautiful garden and many beautiful
Friendships. Later in life she moved to Collingwood's Sunset
Village to be nearer her family, and during her years there continued
to charm all those who met her. She will be remembered by her
special Friends as a warm, giving soul who was enormously proud
of her family and was always happy to share stories and memories
over a cup of tea. Kathleen is predeceased by her husband William
and her cherished elder son Bill. She is remembered as a wonderful
mother by her son Ron and his wife Terri, and by her beloved
daughter-in-law Ruth. She was a doting and adored Grandma to
granddaughters Kim, Karen, and Alison, and to grand_son Geoffrey,
and a very loving GG (that's Great Grandma) to Samantha and Nicholas.
The family wishes to thank all Kathleen's Friends and companions
who cared for her and enriched her life at Sunset Village, including
Bernie, Molly, Darlene and Tom, Connie, and Donna. Special thanks

McCREIGHT)
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2006, at the
age of 95, after a long life brimming with love and laughter.
Kathleen was born November 6, 1910 near Little Rapids, Ontario,
and spent a happy childhood on the family homestead outside of
Thessalon and
in Owen Sound. She moved to Toronto during the
Depression, and she and her husband William settled in Weston,
where Kathleen created a home filled with love for their sons.
She worked tirelessly and with quiet determination to provide
her beloved boys with every possible opportunity in life. After
a fulfilling career at Weston Public Library, Kathleen retired
to Midland, where she nurtured a beautiful garden and many beautiful
Friendships. Later in life she moved to Collingwood's Sunset
Village to be nearer her family, and during her years there continued
to charm all those who met her. She will be remembered by her
special Friends as a warm, giving soul who was enormously proud
of her family and was always happy to share stories and memories
over a cup of tea. Kathleen is predeceased by her husband William
and her cherished elder son Bill. She is remembered as a wonderful
mother by her son Ron and his wife Terri, and by her beloved
daughter-in-law Ruth. She was a doting and adored Grandma to
granddaughters Kim, Karen, and Alison, and to grand_son Geoffrey,
and a very loving G.G. (that's Great-Grandma) to Samantha and
Nicholas. The family wishes to thank all Kathleen's Friends and
companions who cared for her and enriched her life at Sunset
Village, including Bernie, Molly, Darlene and Tom, Connie, and
Donna. Special thanks to the wonderful team at Leisureworld Creedan
Valley in Creemore, and
to Doctors
SMITH and
NICHOLS and the nursing
staff at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. A family graveside
service will be held Monday, October 16, 2006, at Mt. Pleasant
Cemetery in Toronto.

Jae, Heather and Rik. Born in England, Ken came to Canada at
26. During World War 2, he served in the Royal Canadian Air Force
as a Squadron Leader and Flight Instructor. He married Patricia
HODGES (deceased,) was involved in the Canadian shoe industry
for 40 years, and was founding president of the Ontario and Western
Canada Shoe Travellers Associations. In 1965, Ken married Kay
- the love of his life. They recently celebrated their 40th wedding
anniversary. A member of the Probus Club of Aurora and a life
member of the Royal Canadian Military Institute. Friends may

HODGES of Toronto, Ontario. Gwendolyn was a long-time employee
