BARRÉ,

Born in Montreal to Germaine neé
FORTIN and Arthur
BARRÉ, he
was the third of four children. His childhood was rapscallion.
He joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1950 and met his
wife Eileen neé
GREENE on Labour Day of the same year. They were
married in 1955 and two children, a daughter and a son, came
into the world in 1956 and 1959. He left the Royal Canadian Mounted
Police and worked at a handful of jobs until he started with

worked and played at The Home Depot. He was always up to something,
even if, at times, no one quite knew what it was. He was a skilled
woodworker, a sometime artist, a bonsai aficionado and much else.
