Archie served as Sgt. in the Royal Canadian Air Force during
World War 2 as a Physical Training Instructor. He was a member
of the Presbyterian Church of Canada, the Independent Order of
Odd Fellows Lodge, the Rebekah Lodge and was a Patriarch Militant.
He was a former member of Howard Lodge Ancient, Free and Accepted
Masons, Ridgetown Rotary and the Ridgetown Canadian Legion. Archie
was a former partner of the McKellar and McIntyre Funeral Home,
Ridgetown. He also was a former employee of Manpower with the
Federal Government and was the Curator at Fairfield Museum. The
McINTYRE family will receive Friends at the McKinlay Funeral

Lands and Forests, now known as the Ministry of Natural Resources
in Essex County, was a Fisheries Management Officer in Aylmer,
retiring as Fish and Wildlife Supervisor with the Ministry of
Natural Resources in Chatham. Prior to his employment with the
Department of Lands and Forests and the Ministry of Natural Resources,
Gordon worked at the Durham Furniture Factory and later was the
clerk for the town of Durham. He was enlisted with the Royal
Canadian Air Force during the second World War and was the past
master of the Masonic Lodge in Durham in 1946. Friends may call
at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham (519-369-3837) on
Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where members of the Masonic Lodge
Durham #306 will hold a memorial service at 6: 45 p.m. A Celebration

Momo died gently Saturday morning. She was at home, comforted
by the love of her family, with thoughts and memories of Pine
Island, her favourite place on earth. She is now the guardian
angel of her loving husband of 55 years, Tom, and her daughters,
Tessa, Betsy, Claire, and Cath; her sons-in-law Derek, Eugene,
and Richard; and grandchildren Sacha and Oliver. She is also
loved and missed by her sister, Anne Marie; sisters-in-law Helen,
Mary, and Thelma; and Auntie Mo's kids Andy and Laurie, Cyndi
and Al, Terry, Tim and Linda and their children. Muriel was a
youthful spirit and a woman of few words whose playful and mischievous
nature entertained her family and Friends. She has touched the
hearts of many in her long and happy life. She was an active
member of the Catholic Women's League for over 70 years, where
she treasured her Tuesdays with the Saint_John's Church Craft Ladies.
She was a dedicated volunteer at the Brantwood Centre for the
last 40 years, and she collected food and treats for the Canadian
Food for Children program for over 20 years. Support for this
organization would be a wonderful tribute to her: Canadian Food

Canadian Air Force in North Africa and Europe (1942-1945). A banker
by profession, Larry's career with The Canadian Bank of Commerce
began in 1938. It culminated with the Presidency (1968-1971)
and Vice-Chairmanship (1971-1976) of the newly formed Canadian
Imperial Bank of Commerce. He retired from active service with
the bank in 1981 and subsequently served on numerous corporate
boards including: Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Swiss Re Management Limited; President, Swissre Holdings (Canada)
Ltd.; The Imperial Life Assurance Company of Canada; Toronto
Blue Jays Baseball Club; North America Reinsurance Company; Swissre
Corporation; Edifice Dorchester Commerce; Eaton Life Assurance
Company; Federal Pioneer Limited; Liberty Mutual Insurance Company
of Canada; Queen's University; The Toronto Hospital for Sick
Children; and
HOOP. He was the recipient of Her Majesty's
Jubilee Medal and the Distinguished Service Award, Queen's University
and also held an Hon. L.L.D. from Queen's University. A memorial

"The Yoga Group". He was decorated while serving with the Royal
Canadian Air Force in North Africa and Europe (1942-1945). A banker
by profession, Larry's career with The Canadian Bank of Commerce
began in 1938. It culminated with the Presidency (1968-1971)
and Vice-Chairmanship (1971-1976) of the newly formed Canadian
Imperial Bank of Commerce. He retired from active service with
the bank in 1981 and subsequently served on numerous corporate
boards including: Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Swiss Re Management Limited; President, Swissre Holdings (Canada)
Ltd.; The Imperial Life Assurance Company of Canada; Toronto
Blue Jays Baseball Club; North America Reinsurance Company; Swissre
Corporation; Edifice Dorchester Commerce; Eaton Life Assurance
Company; Federal Pioneer Limited; Liberty Mutual Insurance Company
of Canada; Queen's University; The Toronto Hospital for Sick
Children; and
HOOP. He was the recipient of Her Majesty's
Jubilee Medal and the Distinguished Service Award, Queen's University
and also held an Hon. L.L.D. from Queen's University. A memorial
service will be held at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles

on Wednesday, October 11th at 11 o'clock with a reception to

The family is very appreciative of the care provided by the wonderful
staff on Hutch 5 and 2 West, and the love and care provided at
the Princess Gardens. Merle's life will be celebrated at St. Luke's
