Clara is survived by her son Paul and his wife Jane of Gore Bay, grandchildren Kim and her husband Warren Joseph and Steven SCHUTZ and his wife Tammy, and great-grandchildren Sarah, Matt, Cortney and Karly. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother John David (Fritz) GRABILL and a step-sister Winsame GRABILL. At Clara's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, Durham on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment Trinity Anglican Cemetery. Sister Anna Gertrude entered into her eternal rest at Mount Saint_Joseph, Peterborough, Ontario on November 15th 2006, in her 73rd year of religious life. She was the daughter of the late Martin Sylvester GRACE of Arnprior, Ontario and his wife Theresa Jane McCAFFERY of Perth, Ontario. Besides the members of her religious community Sister Anna Gertrude leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews and cousins in the Ottawa region, Niagara Falls and Scotland. She is predeceased by her brother Harold and her sisters Ursula (Mrs. H. KEHOE,) Helen (Mrs. P.A. BUTTERWORTH) and Kathryn (Mrs. T.J. DALEY.) Sister Anna Gertrude received her education in Ottawa. She taught music, choir and organ in Cobourg, Wainwright, Lindsay, Ottawa, Almonte and Mount Saint_Joseph in Peterborough. Sister served as Superior in Cobourg before returning to Mount Saint_Joseph in 1993 where she continued in her music ministry for several years. Visitation in the chapel of Mount Saint_Joseph, Peterborough will be held on Friday, November 17th from 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mount Saint_Joseph, Peterborough on Saturday, November 18th at 10: 30 a.m. Interment at Saint Peter's Cemetery. Of Stouffville, Ontario, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006, at Markham-Stouffville Hospital. He was born August 15, 1942, in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Billy (Papa) was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a painter by trade, most recently working for the Toronto District School Board. Surviving are his wife Margaret son Bill and daughter-in-law Beth Ann KENNY of Beaverton with granddaughter Katie and grand_son Sean; son David and David's partner Anne of Manchester, England with grand_son Ryan; daughter Cathy of Stouffville with granddaughters Caitlin and Sarah; and David's daughter, granddaughter Ashley SOMMERVILLE of Oakville. Others mourning Billy's death include his sister Annie and brother-in-law Billy CAUGHY of Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland and their family his brother Gordon and sister-in-law Gloria of Belfast, Northern Ireland, along with their family; his sister Jean and brother-in-law Victor FARR of Auckland, New Zealand and their family; and Margaret's brother Jim HAMILTON and sister-in-law Norah of Belfast, Northern Ireland and their family. Also, after having lived close by and spending many weekends together at Loon Lake Resort, Billy will also be sincerely missed by his brother Jackie and sister-in-law Joan KENNY of Oshawa, along with nieces Irene and Sharon and their families. It is with great sadness that the family of Randy BAKER announces his passing on Friday, June 30th, 2006 at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe in his 64th year, after a brief battle with cancer. He is the beloved husband of 33 years of Alice (O'NEIL) BAKER; loving and proud father of Tara BINT (Troy,) Kitchener, and Tiffanie, Exeter. Dear Opa to Zachary, Ryan and Marissa BINT. He will also be sadly missed by brothers Henry (Nelly), Bayfield, Simon, Drayton, and sister-in-law Sandra GRACEY (George,) Listowel. Predeceased by parents Jacob and Jane (BRAAD) BAKER (1998 and 1994) Saint Mary, brother John (1989), Embro, sisters-in-law Ena (2001), Embro and Janet (2005), Stratford, and father and mother-in-law Lyle and Glorena (BURDON) O'NEIL (1998) Guelph. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins. Also, greatly missing "the Acting Mayor of Lutesville" are his close Friends Gary and Sharlene ARMSTRONG, Bill and Theresa DUNKLEY and Gray and Barb STEWARDSON, all fellow members for many years of the "Waterford Breakfast Club", and travel companions, Archie and Maria DEMEULENAERE. Randy was born in the Netherlands and emigrated to Canada with his family in 1948, eventually settling in the Stratford area. After graduating from the University of Guelph, Randy worked in Horticultural Research in Guelph and Simcoe for almost 30 years, retiring in 1997. As well, he owned and operated Baker Greenhouses for 26 years. Over the years, Randy has been associated with many groups and organizations but since his retirement he has concentrated his time and energy to the Long Point Branch of the Ontario Institute of Agrologists and to the Waterford Lions Club where he is the Past President. He was a member of the Downs Golf Club, Seniors Curling Club, the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 55, and Central United Church. Passed away peacefully on October 12th to join some of his beloved family and Lord in Heaven, leaving an enormous void in his earthly family's life. He was survived by his wife Billie and his children, Alexandra (Ottavio) ESPOSITO, Jean▼ (David▼) ANDERSON and Hugh (Kim) GRAFTON. As well as his eight grandchildren Andrew and James NEMIROVSKY, Damian▼ and Morgan ANDERSON, Brandy GRAFTON, Marc,▼ Alex,▼ Simon▼ ESPOSITO, and his two great-grandchildren Sybyanah and Lennon NEMIROVSKY. He is also survived by his sister Yolande. He was predeceased by Jitka, the mother of his children and two siblings his sister Audrey and brother Sydney. He was the youngest son of Sydney and Hilda GRAFTON. He was a member of the R.C.H.A. Regiment. He graduated with a doctorate in Medicine from McGill in 1953. He was a practicing physician for over 30 years; starting in Hamilton, eventually moving to rural Ontario to enjoy his life as a country doctor. Dad inspired all of us to give back to the community and to be involved in our world as he was; through his involvement with the church, Scouts Canada, Big Brothers Association, the Literacy Counsel as well as numerous charitable organizations. In his spare time he organized a brass band in Harriston as well as being an active member of the horticultural societies in Durham and Harriston, creating parklands in both communities. Dad tried to make the world a better place by example and deed alike. He was charitable and offered a helping hand to any in need. He was a true Christian in all ways and lived by his beliefs. He will be missed by all who crossed his path. In respect of his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ian's life will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, Durham on Sunday, October 15th at 3 p.m. and at St. George's Anglican Church, Harriston on Saturday, October 21st at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Passed away at the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, on Friday, January 6, 2006. Dorothy GRAFTON (née PRESTIDGE,) beloved wife of the late Captain Fred GRAFTON and dear mother of Walter. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. As per her request, cremation has taken place. Donations in her memory may be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
