Of London and formerly of Saint Thomas, on Saturday, November 25, 2006, at his late residence, in his 48th year. Dearly loved partner of Susan PAY and loved father of Danielle, Randi and Renee. Loved brother of Monique and her fiancé Neil WHALEY and Ghislaine "Jessie" and her husband Tim TALLACK. Sadly missed by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. Mike was born in Toronto on February 11, 1959, the son of the late Edmond and Marie-Anne (GODIN) LEBEAU. He worked for Metokote Canada Ltd. Mike was a life member of the Liberal Party and an avid Toronto Maple Leaf fan. He enjoyed disc golf and hockey. Peacefully, in Bowmanville, on Saturday, March 18, 2006, in his 74th year. Predeceased by his wife Ann (née MURISON.) Survived by his daughter Wendy and her husband Peter WALLACE, and his son Colin SYME. Dear grandpa "Grumps" to Elizabeth WALLACE, and brother of Anne WEST and Eleanor GODIN. He will be sadly missed by his four legged friend "Fraser" who was named after his Scottish Clan. Jack will be remembered as the man who would always rather be at his cottage. He was known as "Jock" to his survey crews while he worked as crew supervisor for the Ministry of Transportation and Communication of Ontario, Central Region. Suspected street racer dies in hospital

A 25-year-old Etobicoke man who spent almost a week in hospital with serious head injuries following a suspected street race has died.
Myron KOCUR died Sunday of injuries suffered June 13 when his silver Corvette hit a guardrail along the northbound lanes of Highway 427 near Rathburn Rd. at about 11 p.m., police said.
The collision occurred after three Corvettes were seen travelling at extremely high speeds, police said.
"It is certainly an obvious possibility that these three speeding Corvettes could have been street racing," said Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Cam WOOLLEY. "The possibility is definitely a part of the investigation."
The victim was ejected from the Corvette, which was torn to pieces. Debris was spread across six lanes.
The drivers of the other two Corvettes were arrested. Milan PAUNOV, 31, of Etobicoke, is charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm, criminal negligence causing bodily harm and failing to remain.
Michael GODINA, 24, also of Etobicoke, is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
As a result of KOCUR's death, amended charges are pending.
Police have seized the other two Corvettes, WOOLLEY said.
Since 1999, 34 people in the Greater Toronto Area have died in street-racing incidents, police say.
Meanwhile, York Region police said yesterday that they have seized two vehicles involved in a collision that killed two people last month.
Robert MANCHESTER, 46, and his wife, Lisa MANCHESTER, 43, of Richmond Hill, were killed May 27 in a suspected street race at the intersection of Yonge St. and Stouffville Rd. On Thursday, officers executed search warrants at the homes of the men charged in the fatal crash and seized their vehicles as offence-related property under the authority of the Criminal Code.

At Vancouver General Hospital, on May 8th, following an illness which she faced with determination and dignity. She was predeceased by her mother, Jo FYFE of Berkeley, California, whom she nursed through her final illness. Kate was a lovely and vibrant woman, and her untimely death is mourned by her father and stepmother, William and Patricia FYFE of London, Ontario, and by her brothers, Christopher of Cambridge, Ontario, and Stefan, of Igls, Austria. She will also be greatly missed by her many relatives and Friends in New Zealand, California, England and Canada, several of whom travelled to Vancouver during her illness, to offer comfort and encouragement. Her family owes an enormous debt of gratitude to her devoted friend, Dottie McEVILLY, of Berkeley, California, who stayed with Kate from the diagnosis of her disease to the end, and whose practical and emotional support cannot be overestimated. Kate made Friends wherever she went, during her student days at The University of Western Ontario and Queen's University, and her career as a university administrator. After several years in increasingly responsible positions at Oxford University, she became the Academic Registrar at Goldsmith's University in London. She then returned to Canada, assuming the position of Assistant Dean in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Simon Fraser University. Colleagues at all three universities quickly became Friends, with whom she shared her keen intellect, lively wit, and eclectic tastes in literature and music. As she requested, she has been cremated, and her ashes will be scattered off the coast of Northern California. The tender and compassionate care she received during her illness from the physicians and nurses at the British Columbia Cancer Agency and the Vancouver General Hospital could not be surpassed. In recognition of this, her family requests that any donations in her memory be made to the British Columbia Cancer Foundation, Suite 200, 601 West Broadway, Vancouver, British Columbia, V5Z 4C2.

Peacefully at the New Liskeard Hospital on his 80th Birthday, July 4, 2006, Stanley H. MOORE of Tillsonburg. Born in New Liskeard, Ontario, July 4, 1926. Dear son of the late Walter MOORE and the late former Laura WALKER. Stan came to Tillsonburg in 1972 and was manager of the Tillsonburg Community Centre Complex from 1972-1985. He was a past president of the Tillsonburg Rotary Club and Citizen of the Year in 1985. He organized and coached the Saint Mary's Lincolns to all Ontario Championship 1962-63 and organized and coached the Strathroy Rockets 1965-66 and the Tillsonburg Titans to 1986. Stan was an avid golfer and was very community minded and a great people person. Loving husband and best friend of 55 years to Terry (GODREAU) MOORE. Suddenly at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, London on Friday, November 24, 2006 Frank H. POGUE of Belmont in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Joan (née SMITH) for 51 years. Loving father of Paul POGUE (Diana) and Ann POGUE (Stan JACOB) all of London and Greg POGUE (Marisa) of Coquitlam, British Columbia. Proud grandfather of Dayna, Stephanie, Jordan; Christopher, Erin, Elizabeth, and Robert. Dear brother of Jean GODSOE, Ray POGUE (Margaret), Freeman POGUE, Freda BUCHANAN (Larry), Clare POGUE (Helen,) Keith POGUE (Robin) and predeceased by brothers John, Roy and twin-brother Fred. Sadly missed by sisters-in-law Ruth POGUE and June POGUE, and his aunt Audrey STEPHENSON. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Frank was a member of the Canadian Power Squadron and was an Instructor with the London Power Squadron. He devoted more than a half century to his career in heating and air conditioning, both as an independent contractor and as a salesman. Frank will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity, his sense of humour and his zest for living. She was very active in Trinity United Church and in particular the choir. She will be most remembered for her joy of entertaining others with her special gift of music. Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Saturday, December 9, 2006 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Ewart Sim HETHERINGTON (1986.) Loving mother of Peter and David (Anna) and dear grandmother of Stephanie, Katrina and Alison. She was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Julia (HECKMAN) GODSOE and brothers Douglas and Herbert, all of Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was very active in Trinity United Church, and in particular, the choir. She will be most remembered for her joy of entertaining others with her special gift of music. She also had a great love of art and a fondness for animals. Special thanks to the wonderful caregivers at the Newmarket Health Centre. Friends called at the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket, Ontario on Wednesday, December 13th from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 14th at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Church, Main Street South, Newmarket. Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, February 13, 2006, Jean (EVANS) ROBB of Countryside Manor, formerly of Ilderton in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Alexander ROBB (1991.) Dear mother of daughter Mary MARSHALL and her husband Joe of Ilderton, grandchild Glen MARSHALL and his wife Liz, great-grandchildren Alyssa and Ryan, grandchild Tracy CHAPMAN and her husband Abe, great-grandchildren Teigan and Logan, grandchild Andy MARSHALL and his wife Lisa; son Jamie ROBB and his wife Beckie of Point Clarke, granddaughter Jennifer MARRINAN and her husband Dwayne, great-grand_son Aidan and grand_son Michael ROBB; daughter Gayle BYCRAFT and her husband Paul of Ilderton, grand_son Jeff BYCRAFT and his wife Tammy, great-granddaughter Jessica, granddaughter Carrie WATERS and her husband Jeff, great-granddaughter Abigale, granddaughter Sandra BYCRAFT; daughter Diane GODWIN of Denfield, grandchildren Brent, Megan, Brooke and Mark GODWIN son Edward ROBB and his wife Karen of Ilderton, granddaughters Laura and Beth ROBB, daughter Carolyn BLEWETT and her husband John of Saint Thomas, and grandchildren Nolan and Emma BLEWETT. Stephenson & son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig where the visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Vanneck United Church (Vanneck Road) on Wednesday, February 15 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Bill McAUSLAN officiating. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Littlewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Vanneck United Church or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Mrs. Jean ROBB.
