Brian
worked as an Aircraft maintenance Engineer, and was in the process of moving
from Powassan to Timmins, a transfer with Voyageur Airways, his employer.
Brian was the kind of person who always made you smile, and he always had a
big smile. Anyone who knew Brian will smile as they remember his way of
wearing his hat in a variety of ways. He will be greatly missed by his
cousins who were his best Friends, and his many other Friends who he dearly
loved to visit on Manitoulin where he enjoyed hunting and fishing or any
outdoor activities. Brian's greatest love was his family. He adored Julie
and his kids. Brian will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband,
father, son, son-in-law, brother, grand_son and friend. Brian and Nathan's
absence will leave a huge void in the lives of all who knew them. Devoted

2006. Rita Huzij, a resident of Sudbury, died at the Sudbury Regional
Hospital, Saint Joseph's Site on Friday, May 19, 2006 at the age of 74 years.
She was born in Sudbury, daughter of the late Eddie and Maria ( Saint Lawrence)
LeRoux. Rita had worked as a cook at resorts, then became a Nurse's Aid and
worked at Manitoulin Lodge for some time. She had a variety of interests,
which included any kind of craft work, knitting and crocheting and loved to
make things through her craft work, and loved to cook. She also had a love
for animals. Rita will be remembered for her love of family get togethers.
She will be sadly missed by family and Friends. Rita was married twice. Her
first husband Lewis Gilpin predeceased in 1982. She then married Walter
Huzij who predeceased in 2003. Dearly loved mother of Patty (husband Conrad)
Spry of Garson, Gary (wife Barb) of Evansville, Blair (wife Sheryl) of
Spring Bay, Margaret (husband Royce) Young of Spring Bay and Irene (husband
Bill) Gates of Lively. Predeceased by sons Wayne and Bill and daughter June.
Proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Dear sister
of Ida LaPointe (husband Jack predeceased), Fern LeRoux, Clair Dominique
(husband Jack) all of Sudbury and Shirley (husband Larry) McAllister of
Naughton. Predeceased by brothers Armand and Jerry LeRoux. Friends called at
the Culgin Funeral Home on Monday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was
conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 11.00 a.m.
with Reverend Derek Frampton officiating. Interment in Grimesthorpe Cemetery. In
