Passed away peacefully, in Montreal on June 11, 2006, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Victoria SAAD for 56 years. Loving and proud father of Reine-Marie (Fayez TAWIL,) Roger (Judith JASPER), Ottawa, Ramzi, Beirut, Nadim (Lori LAPOINTE) and Joe (Marie-Thérèse COPTI.) Respected Jiddo and Grandfather to Georges, Fadi, Zahi, Raymond, Mounir, Joseph and Catherine. Raymond is survived by his sister Esther ATALLAH, Syracuse, New York. Raymond made his own contribution through his many years of services with the United Nations, in particular his work at United Nations Relief and Works Agency. All his life, Raymond maintained a positive and optimistic outlook. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many family members and Friends. Husband of Ruth (FINCH) Rogers TOWERS and the late Rhoda (PAFFORD) TOWERS (1985.) Father of Barbara EWART and her husband Robert, and Kenneth V. TOWERS and his wife Lois,▼ all of Saint Thomas. Step-father of Donna USHER and her husband Glen of Princeton, and Beth GILLIS and her partner John DICKSON/DIXON of Tiverton. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a great-grand_son, Scott KYLE, sisters, Elizabeth GARVEY, Agnes TEMPLE and Mildred WILSON and by brothers, Walter R. TOWERS and Frederick TOWERS. Born in Saint Thomas, May 25, 1915, the son of the late Walter and Mary Ann (ABDEY) TOWERS. He was the retired divisional vice-president of manufacturing for Clark Equipment Canada Ltd., Saint Thomas. Dearly loved mother of Donna USHER and her husband Glen of Princeton, and Beth GILLIS and her partner John DICKSON/DIXON of Tiverton. Passed away at the Bluewater Health-Palliative Care on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 76 years. Beloved father of Debbie LONG and her three children Jennifer LEGER (Gilles,) Heather FINDLAY (Robb) and Daryl LONG all of Vancouver, British Columbia; Rhonda (Mike) and her two children Dennis KJELDSEN (Michelle) and Mandy KJELDSEN (Jonathan;) Linda MacGREGOR (George) and their two children Ian and Colin MacGREGOR; Doctor Kevin FAST (Deanna BELL- FAST) and their three sons Keenan, Dane and Bennett FAST. Also survived by G.G. children Alexcia, Ryan, Sarah and Onnika. He leaves behind one sister and three brothers Verna FARNAM (Bill) of Scquim, Washington, Alvin FAST (Nellie), Rev. John FAST (Kay), and Robert FAST (Lola) all of British Columbia. Victor was the youngest son of fourteen children and was predeceased by his parents Frank and Helena FAST, three sisters, Elizabeth, Helen and Mata, and six brothers Frank, Henry, Oscar, Dietrich, Arnold and Alfred all of western Canada. Victor was a retired officer of the Royal Canadian Navy, a member of St. Andrew's Church choir, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62 and he had a great passion for golf, music and sailing, but his Grand Passion was for Betty Dee BLACK as he offered safety and love while on her walking expeditions over North America for the past twelve years. He is fondly remembered by her children Carl and Susan MITCHELL and Doctor Janet SEAL and their four sons Byron, Simon, Travis and Kurtis; Lori MITCHELL- McNALLY and her children Adam and Amber; Shari MITCHELL; Susan and Dan CORE and their children Ashley and Nicholas; Verba and Jerry BLACK and their daughter Breanne; and not to forget his good friend Sam McGee (Macaw Parrot). He will be sadly missed by all of us for he was a gentleman of the highest ilk. His life was an inspiration to all of us and his memory will be a benediction. Unexpectedly, on Friday, April 7, 2006 with his family beside him at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Ontario. Bill was a great people person, golfer, and recent pool enthusiast, he will be sorely missed. He was beloved as a husband, father and grandfather and had a very special gift with children and the many family pets. Originally from Springburn, Glasgow, life's adventures took him briefly to the U.S. as a child, the Middle and Far East during the war then to Montreal where he and his wife Eleanor made a home. He retired to Waterloo to be close to family. He is survived by his wife Eleanor McCulloch FINDLAY, his children, James and Helen FINDLAY, his grandchildren, Dylan, Alison, Liam and Drew FINDLAY and his son and daughter-in-law, Reg BRONSKILL and Anne CONWAY. HALL, Leonard Arthur
Peacefully at Central Park Lodge, Toronto, on December 31st, 2005, in his 97th year. Leonard Arthur HALL, dearly beloved husband of the late Dorothy Irene HALL (1999.) Loving father of Greer CARTER and her husband David FINE. Dear Great grandfather/ Zaidy of Jayme and Emma FINE. Predeceased by his son-in-law John Herbert CARTER (1985.) Remembered fondly by members of the Fine family. Dearest friend of Jenny and Mike McELHINNEY. He will be missed by Tilley and Tika. Sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at Toronto East General Hospital and the staff at Central Park Lodge, Thorncliffe Park, for their compassionate care. A service will be held at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), at 11 o'clock on Wednesday, January 4th, 2006, with visitation one hour prior. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 20 Holly Street, Suite 101, Toronto, Ontario M4S 3B1.

TURNER, Angus Douglas William Archibald
Passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, after a long and courageous struggle with cancer. Beloved husband of the late Sandra CHAPMAN, brother of Mary, dear father to Steven and Bonnie, stepfather to Kim and Karen. Father-in-law and friend to Stewart, Gaynor, Warren and Keith. Grandfather to James, Jeffrey, Justin, Amanda, Victoria, Dylan and Kendall. Our family was blessed by his many special gifts and we are deeply mourning our loss. Douglas was born and lived much of his life in the Bloor West/Junction area of Toronto. As both a career and hobby, he spent every waking moment with his true passion, cars. Whether he was buying, selling, admiring or collecting, Douglas was happiest behind the wheel. He leaves behind many special Friends, and the family appreciates their kindness at this time. We invite all who loved him to celebrate his life with us on Wednesday, April 19 at 1: 00 p.m. in Guild Hall at the Old Mill Inn, 21 Old Mill Road, Toronto. Reception to follow in the Brulee Room.
