They emigrated from England, they raised their family, they moved from one home to the next making silk purses from sows ears. So it really comes as no surprise that only three short months after losing Dad that Mom would succumb and join Dad in eternal rest. Margaret loved poppies, she loved babies and children. She loved her family and she loved her dogs. Margaret was a kind, gentle lady who in her own quiet inimitable way has left us a legacy of love, strength and admiration. Loved wife of Scott ROBINSON. Adored mother of Jeffrey and Jordan both at home. Treasured daughter of Gail and Tom NORRIS of R.R.#2, Wiarton and the late Bob PERKINS (1986.) Cherished sister of Leanne CHRISTIE and her husband Rob of R.R.#1, Hepworth, Kim CHEGAHNO and her husband Huss of Wiarton, Sandi AHRENS and her husband Gerry of Mitchell and Jennifer DAIGLE and her husband Mike of Brampton. Dear daughter-in-law of Jim and Bette ROBINSON of Burlington. The▲ family of the late Lisa PERKINS- ROBINSON extend sincere appreciation to family, Friends and neighbours who visited the funeral home called, sent cards, baking to our homes purchased Mass cards and memorial cards. Special thanks to Father Steve LACROIX. To Corry LAPOINTE and Don BUCHANAN and the Saint Mary's Choir we sincerely appreciated the wonderful music at Lisa's funeral Mass. We also thank the Zion Amabel United Church Women who hosted the luncheon and the Owen Sound City Police for their assistance with traffic control for the funeral. A very special thank you to the pall bearers, cousins of Lisa's - Ryan NICKELS, Mathew HALLIDAY, Andrew DOWNS, T.J. DOWNS, Darryl DOWNS and Rod PERKINS. We also gratefully acknowledge the readings at the funeral by John DOWNS, uncle of Lisa's and Rob SHOULDICE, special friend of Lisa's.

CHAREST, Bernard (1932-2006)
Passed away on May 24th 2006 in Montreal, surrounded by his family. He will be remembered and missed by his wife Cynthia DOWNS; his daughters, Colette (Roger CASGRAIN) and Mireille (Marc BOUDREAU) his grandchildren, Marianne, Isabelle, Raymond, Rachel and Catherine his brothers, Jean (Thérèse DAUPLAISE,) André (Lesley HERON,) Guy (Francine GAGNÉ) and Luc (Jacqueline POIRIER;) and brother-in-law Paul DOWNS (Jacqueline LIPPÉ;) as well as many more family members and Friends. During a career in the investment business spanning almost 50 years, he was always an active contributor to progress in the industry participating in several committees. He most notably was a member of the board of Trans Canada Options from 1989 to 1993 and its Chairman in 1992-1993. As well, he was also the first non-resident of Ontario to be named Governor of the Toronto Stock Exchange (1994-1997). At his retirement in 2000, he was First Vice-President, exchange traded equities and equity options at National Bank Financial. The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie, 1255 Beaumont Ave., Town of Mount Royal. Born on June 16th, 1933, Bill passed away at home on Sunday October 22nd, 2006. Bill, my salmon swimmer, always swam uphill against the tide of life accomplishing many things along the way. Bill leaves behind his wife Pudge (Helen) together 51 interesting years his sisters Betty DOWNS, Marie GABOURIE: brother David HARTSHORNE: brother-in-law Ray GABOURIE: and many nieces and nephews. Bill will be heading on his new journey to places unknown, meeting his mother and father Frank and Madeline: sister Frances ARRIGO: and brother-in-laws John J. DOWNS and Tony ARRIGO along the way. Good luck "Billy Bouy" we will surely miss you here on earth.
