Joan
Passed away, with those who loved her by her side, on March 22,
2006 at the Durham Hospital. For sixty years Margaret and John
did everything together. They emigrated from England, they raised
their family, they moved from one home to the next making silk
purses from sows ears. So it really comes as no surprise that
only three short months after losing Dad that Mom would succumb
and join Dad in eternal rest. Margaret loved poppies, she loved
babies and children. She loved her family and she loved her dogs.
Margaret was a kind, gentle lady who in her own quiet inimitable
way has left us a legacy of love, strength and admiration. To
honour Margaret's memory we would ask that donations in her honour
be made to any reputable children's charity. Arrangements entrusted
to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham, (519) 369-3837.
