graduate of S.T.A. High School, Fanshawe College, and was currently
working on her degree in Women's Studies through Athabasca University.
Alex faced many challenges throughout her life and yet she met
each day with a smile. Alex was our Angel on earth. Funeral service
will be held on Friday, February 10th at St. Pius X Church on
Valetta Street, at 10: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Crohn's and
Colitis Foundation of Canada. Cremation has taken place. Private

of Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Passed away on Friday, May 5,
2006 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, New
York. Born on November 26, 1944 in Victoria, British Columbia,
Canada, he was the
son of the late Charles and Beatrice M. (nee
DAVISON.) He received his B.A., M.A. and Masters of Theology
from The University of Toronto. Fr.
BROWN was Ordained, May 21,
1972 in St. James Cathedral, Toronto, where he served as Assistant
Priest until 1974. He was Pastor of a 3 point parish in Minden,
Ontario, Canada, from 1974 to 1977. In 1977 he came to the Holy
Cross Monastery in West Park, New York he served as Guest, Master
from 1980-81. In 1982 he became the Interim Pastor of Trinity
Church in Watervielt, New York He made. his Life Profession to
the Order of the Holy Cross on September 8, 1983. In 1998 he
became the Prior of Holy Cross Monastery, West Park, New York.
He has served as the Assistant Superior of the Order of the Holy
Cross since 1999. Father
BROWN was very well known in the Episcopal
Church, as a spiritual director, teacher, preacher, and retreat
leader. He will be deeply missed by all the Brothers in the Order
of the Holy Cross. Memorial Services are being planned for a
future date, in New York City, and Toronto Canada. He is survived
by his sister Shirley and her husband, The Reverend Canon Milton
