Suddenly and unexpectedly while on vacation with her family in Varadero, Cuba on Monday, January 30, 2006, Alexandra Marie DAVISON, of London, at the age of 27, peacefully passed away. Survived by her loving parents Lucyanne and John DAVISON, her brother Johnny and his fiancée Richelle BEST, and her brother Patrick and his fiancée Caroline JOUBERT. The light of Alex's life most recently was her nephew Joshua, son of Johnny and Richelle - who always had a smile for Alex. Predeceased by her baby brother Christopher. Also survived by her grandfather Leon LIBAWSKI of Brampton. Alex will be missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, Friends and neighbours, as well as her cat Chloe. Alex was a graduate of S.T.A. High School, Fanshawe College, and was currently working on her degree in Women's Studies through Athabasca University. Alex faced many challenges throughout her life and yet she met each day with a smile. Alex was our Angel on earth. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10th at St. Pius X Church on Valetta Street, at 10: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada. Age 61. Of Holy Cross Monastery, West Park, New York and formerly of Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Passed away on Friday, May 5, 2006 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, New York. Born on November 26, 1944 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, he was the son of the late Charles and Beatrice M. (nee DAVISON.) He received his B.A., M.A. and Masters of Theology from The University of Toronto. Fr. BROWN was Ordained, May 21, 1972 in St. James Cathedral, Toronto, where he served as Assistant Priest until 1974. He was Pastor of a 3 point parish in Minden, Ontario, Canada, from 1974 to 1977. In 1977 he came to the Holy Cross Monastery in West Park, New York he served as Guest, Master from 1980-81. In 1982 he became the Interim Pastor of Trinity Church in Watervielt, New York He made. his Life Profession to the Order of the Holy Cross on September 8, 1983. In 1998 he became the Prior of Holy Cross Monastery, West Park, New York. He has served as the Assistant Superior of the Order of the Holy Cross since 1999. Father BROWN was very well known in the Episcopal Church, as a spiritual director, teacher, preacher, and retreat leader. He will be deeply missed by all the Brothers in the Order of the Holy Cross. Memorial Services are being planned for a future date, in New York City, and Toronto Canada. He is survived by his sister Shirley and her husband, The Reverend Canon Milton BARRY, Toronto; niece Catherine and husband Glenn, their daughter Rachel, Toronto; nephew Matthew and wife Sarah, their son Nathan, Toronto; step-sister Linda and husband Hugh. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10: 30 a.m. on Wednesday the 10th at Holy Cross Monastery Chapel, 1615 Broadway (Rt 9W), West Park. Interment Holy Cross Monastery Columbarium, West Park, New York on Wednesday, May 10, 2006. Peacefully at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga on Tuesday, May 16th, 2006. George was born on September 21, 1915 in Aberdeen, Scotland to the late George SANGSTER (Srgt. Royal Engineers) and the late Isabelle McKenzie THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON who was the eldest daughter of Jock Thomson's Bairns. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy DAVISON, daughter Sheila and brother Rob. Survived by his son Peter and granddaughter Lee-Anna. He served in the Armoured Corps in World War 2. He was a teacher and counsellor at Port Credit High School for 31 years, retiring in 1978. His guidance and wisdom will be missed. Memorial Visitation will be held at the funeral home of Skinner and Middlebrook Ltd., 128 Lakeshore Rd. E. Margaret▲▼ is survived by her sons: Terry (Cheryl,) Steve (Debby), Paul (Cindee) and grandchildren Jesse, Megan, Ted, Matthiew and Adam; loving sisters Norah HALL (Blair▼) and Marilyn McLAUGHLIN (Glen MUIR) and all her loving nieces and nephews. Marg was a member of Scarborough Sweet Adelines for over 25 years and will be missed by "The Birthday Group". Marg was also an avid painter and quilter. Her long life exemplified her strength and her love for family and Friends. Services were private. Sister-in-law to Ada WATTS of Fenelon Falls, and cousin of Carole (Bob) CAMPBELL of White Lake, Ontario. Nina was a longtime member of Woodbine United Church and Presteign-Woodbine United Church; former active member of the late Stan Wadlow's Oswego Bible Class; and a very longtime volunteer at the Toronto East General Hospital. She was a resident of St. Clair - O'Connor Community before moving to their excellent nursing home section.
