He was born in North Easthope Township, Perth County on April 8, 1922 a son of the late Joseph and Jean (TAILOR/TAYLOR) McTAVISH. Sandy served as a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War 2; he had been a salesperson for Rolland Paper; was a member of Shakespeare Optimist Club; a member of Exeter Memorial Branch #167 Royal Canadian Legion and the Stratford Saturday Noon Hour Club. He is survived by one brother, Grant McTAVISH of Mareeba, Queensland, Australia; two sisters-in-law, Lillian McTAVISH of Stratford, Dora McTAVISH of Exeter; several nieces and nephews and special Friends, the Oldershaw Family of Toronto. He will be especially missed by Murray McTAVISH whose daily visit enabled him to remain independent. He was predeceased by two brothers, Donald McTAVISH and Gordon McTAVISH; his sister and brother-in-law, Isabel and Harry DARRELL. Predeceased by brothers Walter (Lad) Presunka, Russel Presunka and David
Presunka. Survived by sister Peggy Goodman (Presunka). Alice retired after
37 years as a registered nurse (practicing). She specialized in many areas
including obstetrics and pediatrics. Alice had a fondness for children,
cooking, gardening, collecting, camping, fishing, knitting, reading and
music. She has knitted countless lamb chop puppets which she donated to
local hospitals and churches. It was Alice's wish not to have any funeral or
visitation services, however the family will hold an open celebration of her
life at a later date. Alice's family would like to thank the Friends and
staff at the St. Joseph's Villa and also the staff at St. Joseph's Health
Centre. Any donations can be made to Alice's favorite charities: the Cancer
Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the

Peacefully at Gateway Haven in Wiarton on Sunday, December 10, 2006. Roy Edward WRIGHT at the age of 92 years. Loving husband of the former Audrey HEATH. Cherished father of Joanne (late Stanley) THOMAS, of Saint Mary's; Donna STEIP, of Saint Thomas; Barbara (Allan) GILBERT, of Wiarton; Betty (Robert) LAWRENCE, of Sarnia Paul WRIGHT, of Oakville; and Connie STEWARD/STEWART/STUART (Daryl McCARTNEY,) of Wiarton. Much loved grandfather of Steven, David, Allan, Jeff, Peter, Allana, Becky, Carey, Tiedra, Hollie, and Brice. Great-grandfather of Jackson, Mitchell, Adam, Amanda, Colin, Dylan, Emily, Ethan, Glenn, Michal, Quiaden, Levi, and Joshua. Bob's 40 year career as a Mechanical Engineer started with 3 years in the Army during World War 2 and then took them across Canada where they made many Friends.
