It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert (Bob) CASE on July 1, 2006. Bob was a kind and generous husband and father known for his fun-loving personality and great sense of humour. He was also a highly respected real estate broker in the Greater Toronto Area for nearly 60 years. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Annabelle, and their four daughters and their families: Valerie and Graham WHITEHEAD and their children Colin and Jeff; Loralee CASE and Arnie FLOYD Roberta CASE and Frank MIHALEK and their children Megan and Emily and Pamela CASE and Dan COLETTO and their children Katelyn, Olivia, and Lucas. Bob was the dear brother of Elizabeth (Betty) RENNIE of Brighton, Ontario, and the late Bill CASE and Eileen DOWLING. The family extends their sincere thanks to the staff of Sunrise Senior Living of Unionville for their kindness and support. Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, Continuing Care Unit on Sunday, January 29th, 2006, in his 91st year. Chuck, predeceased by his loving wife Irene (née SUTTON). Beloved father of Joan WALKER (Marvin), Mary COLLARD- RADFORD (Victor,) Paul COLLARD (Susan McILWAIN.) Dear grandfather to Kathryn HANNA (Glenn), Barbara CATALANO (Joe), Allison WALKER- CHRETIEN (Tim,) Honoure and Cadence McILWAIN- COLLARD. Great-grandfather to Andrew and Laura HANNA, Michael and Daniel CATALANO, Sarah and Zachary CHRETIEN. Chuck retired from Ontario Hydro after 33 years of service. He had in excess of 65 years of service in the scouting movement. He was known to several generations of scouts as "Mr. C", during his over 40 year tenure as Scout Master at the 7th Oshawa Scout Troop. He held many positions within the Oshawa District, including District Commissioner. He and Irene spent many enjoyable years at Camp Samac Adventure Base in Haliburton, where he served as the Camp Director. Chuck was instrumental in co-founding "Hands Across the Border" International Scouting exchange between Canada and the United States and also the 7th Oshawa Order of the Crown, honouring all King and Queen Scouts. For his especially distinguished service to scouting, Chuck was awarded one of the highest national honours by Scouts Canada, the Silver Acorn. He will be sadly missed by his family and Friends and also by the many men whose lives he so profoundly influenced during his service with Scouting. He is remembered as a tender, thoughtful, generous, and good-humoured man who made eternal Friends with everyone he met and touched the heart of anyone who knew him well. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 50 years, Sue, whose strength in these sorrowful times has amazed us all. Armando was born in Italy on September 14, 1941, the son of the late Amandio and Vera MOLINARO. He came to Canada in 1963 and worked at the Ford Motor Company, Talbotville, (retiring in 2000). He was a member of Holy Angels' Church and the Knights of Columbus. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Wednesday morning and then to Holy Angels' Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10: 00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angels' Cemetery. She was the beloved wife of Jim Garry who died in 1985.
