Peacefully at home on February 12, 2006 at 59 years of age. Beloved wife of Grant CLARKE. Loving mother of Andrew and wife Esther STAVERT and the late Alan STAVERT (September 2005.) Dear step mother of Carrie CLARKE and Kevin McBAIN, Andrea and husband Rene SEGUIN. Daughter of Blanche and E.G. COLEBROOK (December 2005). Survived by brothers Wayne, William (Bill), Ken, Allen, Robert and families. Jan was an accomplished pianist playing at the Associate Level and taught for many years. She further enjoyed a stellar career in communications retiring from the Government Telecommunications Agency in 1995. Kind thanks and appreciation to all the wonderful nurses and doctors who have cared for Jan over the past several years with her courageous battle with cancer and cardiovascular disease. Norma was born April 16, 1924 and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. It was here that she met and married her husband of fifty-seven years while he was working in Frood Mine. Don served overseas in World War 2 and Norma moved to Toronto where she supported the war effort working at Small Arms Munitions Plant. When Don returned they were married March 28, 1946 in Sudbury. From this time on, Norma devoted her life to her husband and family. While Don worked at Rowntree McIntosh in Toronto they raised their family, first retiring to Desboro in 1977 and then to Owen Sound in 1998. The family received Friends at the Fawcett-Mceachern Funeral Home, Durham on Monday January 2 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Spring interment McNeil Cemetery, Princeville. Bob was the son of the late George and Edith (MORTON) COLEMAN. Beloved husband of the late Lillian (BAINBRIDGE) COLEMAN (2001.)
