Norma was born April 16, 1924 and raised in Sudbury,
Ontario. It was here that she met and married her husband of
fifty-seven years while he was working in Frood Mine. Don served
overseas in World War 2 and Norma moved to Toronto where she
supported the war effort working at Small Arms Munitions Plant.
When Don returned they were married March 28, 1946 in Sudbury.
From this time on, Norma devoted her life to her husband and
family. While Don worked at Rowntree McIntosh in Toronto they
raised their family, first retiring to Desboro in 1977 and then
to Owen Sound in 1998. The family received Friends at the Fawcett-Mceachern
Funeral Home, Durham on Monday January 2 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9
p.m. Spring interment McNeil Cemetery, Princeville. As expressions
of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be
appreciated.
