Beloved husband of the late Marion (MARSH) BOWIE. Best friend and loving companion of Jean STRUTHERS of London. Dear father of Jim BOWIE and his wife Wanda of Windsor, Ruth YOUNG and her husband Robert of Ilderton and Margaret BOWIE of London. Loved by his 6 grandchildren Andrew (Leah), Charles (Lee), Jenny, Heather, Anne Marie and Michael, and his 2 great-grandchildren Benjamin and Claire. Dear brother of Jean BELL and her husband Albert of London, and survived also by his brother-in-law Leaman MARSH and his wife Gerda of London, and his sister-in-law Ruth BLANSHARD of London. Bill proudly served his country as a Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War 2, and was formerly a resident of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, and Windsor. In his early adult years, Bill was very active musically and was a tenor soloist in both the London area and Alberta. In later years, Bill very much enjoyed both golfing and sailing. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Sarah Beth on June 17, 2006 at the Ottawa General Hospital after a brief illness. Sarah Beth passed away in the thirty-second year of her full, productive and happy life surrounded by her loving family and Friends. She will be sorely missed by her mother, soul mate and wonderful friend Beth (BOWIE,) her adoring father, Emile and her cherished and loving brother, Christopher, his wife Diana, and her admiring nieces, Isabella, Ava and Alexa of Marlton, New Jersey, her grandmothers, Lillian BOWIE and Helene THERIEN and her special friend and companion Derek DEAVY. Sarah Beth will be fondly remembered by her many uncles, aunts, cousins and Friends across Canada and the United States and also by her fellow employees and business associates at the Canada Safety Council. Sarah Beth was a long time employee of the Canada Safety Council where her career goal was to make this wonderful country a safer place for all. In so many ways she succeeded! On Tuesday evening, July 11th, Myrtle passed away at Christie Gardens in the company of her son Robert. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Gilbert; her brother Orrie TRUEMAN and her sisters Ola and Ethel. Myrtle is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law Bob and Ellen; her adored grandchildren Jennifer, Rebecca, Coulter and Joey, her great-grandchildren (G.G.'s Angels) Riley BOWIE, Rachel DENNY, Lila WRIGHT, Jacob BOWIE and Cate DENNY; her extended family Christopher DENNY, David BOWIE, Adrienne KIRSH and Jenny WHITELEY. She is also survived by her 98 year old sister Doris STANLEY, her aunt Ruth COULTER, her cousin Aubrey ELLA and many nieces and nephews. A long time employee of Canadian Kodak, Myrtle was an avid sportswoman, playing organized ice hockey and baseball in the 1920's and was a life member of Islington Golf Club, scoring a "hole in one" when she was 77. She was a long time member of the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire Resting at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd., Weston. Visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday. Passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at home after a lengthy illness. Mr. ALLEN was the President and Chief Executive Officer and the Chairman of Tele-Direct (Canada) Inc., now Bell Actimedia, a subsidiary of Bell Canada Enterprises. He was also Chairman of the Board of Ronald-Federated Ltd., the Sanford Evans Group, the National Telephone Directory Corporation, U.S.A., Y.P. Publishing Australia Pty Ltd., and Tele-Direct International Inc. In the charitable sector he was the past Director of Edward H. O'Brien, Australia, the Quebec Society for Disabled Children, and the Royal Victoria Hospital Kidney Fund. Mr. ALLEN was born in Montreal on January 14, 1923, the son of Frank Barclay and Kathleen Ross (BOWIE) ALLEN and is survived by his son Dr. Dana ALLEN, Dana's wife Lorraine, and his grandchildren Erica, Kirsten and Brianna. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara Jean Marlatt (ALLEN,) his son Frank Junior, and his three brothers Jim, Ned and George. Mr. ALLEN enlisted in the Canadian Army in 1942. He landed in France on D-Day and was later wounded. He retired with the rank of Captain. Mr. ALLEN was a member of the Summerlea Golf Club, Como Golf Club, Seigniory Club of Montebello, Saint James Club and the Forest and Stream Club. He will be missed by his many Friends and relatives. He wanted to extend his sincerest thanks to two very dear Friends, Louise RONCO and his very dear friend Maureen McALEAR for the care and support they gave during his illness. There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held. A memorial service will be held at a later date. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Norman BETHUNE on Monday, May 15, 2006, at the North York General Hospital in his 78th year, after an illness fought with his characteristic optimism and dignity. He was a true gentleman whose family meant the world to him. Of R.R.#5 Saint Thomas, on Wednesday, January 18, 2006, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis (DAVIS) FEDORKO and dearly loved father of Pete FEDORKO and his partner Kathy Stone of R.R. 5 Saint Thomas and the late Mary Lynn FEDORKO. Loved grandfather of Peter FEDORKO and his partner Ashley BOWLING of Port Stanley, William FEDORKO of Saint Thomas and Christopher FEDORKO and his fiancée Samantha ABBOT of Saint Thomas. Dear brother of Mary and her husband Joe NOVAK of Calgary and Joe and his wife Lillie FEDORKO of Montreal. Predeceased by 2 brothers William and John FEDORKO. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Pete was born in Montreal on March 25, 1931, the son of the late William and Mary FEDORKO. He owned and operated Pete's Auto Wreckers. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1950-1955. He was a member of Branch 410 of the Royal Canadian Legion, Port Stanley. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Monday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in Aylmer Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the charity of choice.

Died at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Saturday August 26th, 2006 in her 79th year. Elizabeth LEPPER beloved wife of Bob POPHAM. Loving mother of Kay BOWRING of Leicester, England and Mark POPHAM. She will be missed by her grand_son Zoe. Elizabeth was an active member of Saint Mark's Anglican Church, Port Hope and enjoyed painting in both watercolour and in pastels where she won several prizes at a local fall fair. Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, Victor GAUDIO of London in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" (HODGINS) (1995.) Much loved father of Barb and her husband Kevin RIPLEY, and Brian GAUDIO all of London. Dear brother of Frank GAUDIO and Lena BOWRON both of London. Loving grandfather of Brandon, Sean and Kasey. At London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus, on Friday December 22, 2006, Rosemary Marie (née BAILEY) MUNROE of Glencoe in her 76th year. Born in Imperoyal, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Olga BAILEY. She moved to Glencoe, Ontario from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in 1969 with her husband Glenn and their four children. Rosemary was full of fun and enjoyed many evenings around the fire pit in her back yard raising a glass with Friends and family. She was always ready with a joke and a smile, and was kind and generous to all. She was a treasure that will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Survived by her daughter, Glenda (Peter) CONNOR and 3 sons, Thomas (Susan,) Brian (Luci,) Barry (Laurie) and grandchildren, Hannah, Dierdre, Kirk, Tania, Sabrina, Jessica, Jasmine, Damian, Heather and Amy and great-grandchildren, Madelynn, Dillon and Noah and 2 sisters, Patricia (Pat) BLACKBEARD and Margaret (Peggy) BOWSER. Predeceased by her husband Glenn MUNROE and brothers, Victor, Jack, Wildfred, and Peter and sisters, Lillian, Catherine (Kay), Monica (Mona) and Eunice. TUPLING (KIRKLAND,) World War 2 Veteran with the Canadian Air Force. Dear father of Valerie J. WELLS of Waterloo (predeceased Doug) and fiancée John STEWARD/STEWART/STUART of Mississauga; Jack C. Mr. Dairy Queen of Alliston has taken off on his final trip. Clare Lionel LUDLOW passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, Ontario, in his 87th year. Loving husband of Helen BOWYER of Alliston for 59 years. Dear father of Linda FOWLER and her husband Eric, Susan SCOTT and her late husband Alvin, Brian LUDLOW and his wife Joanne, and predeceased by his son Jim LUDLOW. Loving grandad of six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Keith LUDLOW. Visitation will be held at W.
