After a long and heroic struggle Paulette BARTOSZEWICZ passed away peacefully the morning of November 15, 2006. Dear Lord, thank you for lending us one of your most precious treasures. P for sure! J. She is survived by her husband, Jim BARTOSZEWICZ of Plano, Texas; Maggie, Zoe, Phoebe, Bobby Sox and future generations of rabbits worldwide. Left behind are also the loving members of "The Hood" Pat, Pam, Geraldine, Holly, Penny, Sue, Heather, Joey and Jack. Paulette will be missed by many Friends whose lives she has touched in Dallas, Toronto, Yarmouth and London. The family would like to express a very special thanks to the doctors and nurses in Dallas and Toronto who so graciously used all their skills, compassion and understanding to ease the journey. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Patricia, Joseph, Robert, Angélique and Christopher. Survived by his siblings, Ida and Alfredo STELLATO, Tony and Vera STURINO, and Mena and Francesco BARTUCCI, and by his step-mother Giuseppina STURINO. Also sadly missed by his brothers and sisters-in law, Francesca and Adamo DE RANGO, Iolanda and Luigi GIRALDI, Rocco and Maria DE VITO, Ernesto and Lina DE VITO, Lucia and the late Luigi CAUFIN, and Carmine and Jessica DE VITO. Passed away peacefully in Vancouver, British Columbia in the company of family November 8, 2006. David is survived by his loving wife Judy and his children, Richard RODGER and Krista (John) BARTZIOKAS, grand_son Jacob. He is also survived by Judy's children Thomas (Jamie) HOLLINGSHEAD, Dennis (Joan) HOLLINGSHEAD, granddaughters Nicole and Katherine and Robert HOLLINGSHEAD, (Paula HAMILTON and her son Talon.) He also leaves his mother Jewell RODGER and sister Jilla (Bob) WILLIAMS. He served a distinguished career with Scotia McLeod that spanned 42 years. An avid fishermen and golfer David will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held November 17, 2006 at 3: 00 p.m. at the Capilano Golf and Country Club. Oma Klees will be fondly remembered by her nine grandchildren, Saint Thomas Mayor Jeff KOHLER (wife Jennifer,) Randy KOHLER (wife Lucienda,) Rick KOHLER (wife Lisa,) Rosemary KOHLER, Irene BARWICK (husband Bill), Larry JANKOVIC (wife Heidi), Brian JANKOVIC (wife Michelle), Alissa KLEES and Robert KLEES. Fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild brought great joy to her life. The family is sincerely grateful for the loving and compassionate care provided by the staff at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital's Palliative Care Unit under the guidance of Dr. Sharon BAKER.
